Krish POV:-
'Tu believe karega agar mein kahu mein tujhse pyaar karne lagi hu?' Nisha says while breaking the hug.
'Huhh??' My eyes widen as I couldn't believe what she is telling..
She smiles in tears nodding her head.
"You know, Krish, with him, everything felt like it was supposed to be magical-the rose, the public gesture, the excitement. I thought that was love, and maybe it was, for a while," she continued, wiping away a tear that trailed down her cheek.
"But slowly, I started feeling... disconnected. Every time we were together, I found myself comparing him to you. I kept wondering why I felt an emptiness that shouldn't be there, why spending time with him didn't bring me the joy that just sitting with you did."
I shook my head nod believing what she is telling right now..I know she is telling all this out of sympathy..
She squeezed my hand, pulling me back into the moment. "Haan, yahi sach hai, Krish. Mein kuch banak nahi bol rahi hu. Believe me," she pleaded, her eyes searching mine, as if willing me to understand. "When I'm with him, I don't feel that spark, that excitement. With you, every compliment, every small gesture, it fills me with butterflies, with a feeling I can't ignore."
I could only listen, silent, as she laid her heart out..
"I was so caught up in the idea of love, in the gestures and the words, that I missed what was right in front of me. I didn't realize that every moment I spent with you, I was falling a little more. It was always you, Krish," she whispered, her voice trembling.
"From the very start, it was you. You're the one who makes me feel alive, who makes me feel like I'm enough, just as I am."
Author's POV:-
Krish just stood there, utterly speechless, his mouth opening as if he wanted to say something, but no words came. His emotions were a whirlwind, overwhelming him in a way he hadn't expected.
"You're not... you're not lying, right?" he managed to ask, his voice breaking, barely able to hold back the flood of emotions threatening to spill over.
Nisha smiled through her own tears, shaking her head.
"Nahi, pagal... bilkul nahi."Her voice was soft.
She wrapped her arms around him, pulling him close, and in that moment, all his doubts vanished.
Without another word, he buried his face in her hair, holding her tightly by the waist.
"I love you, Nishu... so damn much," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion.
She nodded, her own voice just a whisper as she replied, "I love you too, Krish."
They stood there, lost in each other, the world around them fading away-until an exaggerated coughing sound pulled them back to reality.
They quickly broke apart, their faces flushed, as they turned to see Ankit and Vaani standing there, grinning like they'd just caught them red-handed.
"College hai, yaar... control mein raho!" Ankit teased, winking at them.
Krish felt his cheeks burn, and he shot Ankit a glare, but he couldn't hide the small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
Nisha looked away, her own face pink with embarrassment, while Vaani stepped forward, wrapping an arm around her.
"So, finally, hmm?" Vaani teased, hugging Nisha from behind and nudging her playfully.
Nisha blushed deeper, trying to hide her face, but Krish pulled her close, wrapping his arm around her shoulder protectively.
"Acha, acha, meri Nishu ko tang mat karo!" he scolded, though his tone was light, and a smile still lingered on his face.
Ankit crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow with a mischievous grin.
"Toh bata, kab dega party hum dono ko?"
Krish blinked, pretending to be confused. "Kis cheeze ka party?"
Ankit's jaw dropped.
"Abbe saale!" he shouted, breaking into laughter as he chased Krish around, half-heartedly swinging at him while Krish dodged, grinning. Their laughter echoed through the corridor, catching the attention of a few passing students.
Meanwhile, Nisha and Vaani stood off to the side, watching the boys' antics with amused smiles.
