What happened afterwards is something Jimin definitely wanted to forget at all costs, his father had slapped Hoseok before giving Jimin a whole lecture about how disgusting the relationship between two humans with the same gender is.

And not only a lecture, Jimin got also slapped and spanked.

Jimin was scared of his dad. Hella scared.

It wasn't the fist time Jimin saw his dad slapping someone, surely not.

His father had already slapped his mother and well, also Jimin.

He hated to admit it but his father was abusive.

And he was just a little kid.

He was obviously afraid of his dad and didn't want to disappoint him all costs.

So he started to live how his dad wanted him to live, as a heterosexual and a homophobic boy.

And despite the fact that he didn't live with his dad anymore, he still had the same mentality about it.

As dumb as that sounds, you can't just simply change your mind on something just because you left the one who taught you it.

Maybe it was also still the fear, or the memory - or even both.

Like now, Jimin couldn't even classify Yoongi as beautiful without thinking about his dad, how could he kiss someone of the same gender then?

It's true, some boys at his age would say
'Screw my parents' and that was it.

But he wasn't like this, not at all.

He loved his parents and missed them, even if his dad hurt him and his own wife.

Jimin was extremely naive, that was something everyone had to admit.
