Y/n was ecstatic to see Jungkook actually applying for the cooking classes. She went towards Jungkook with small steps with a smile and sat beside him. Jungkook gave her his bunny smile and she just melted once again.

Y/n: You seriously enrolled for cooking classes?

Jungkook: Yeah why not. After thinking for a while, I decided it would be the best for me. Moreover you are here too-

Professor Reed enters the class with a new teacher.

Professor Reed: Silence students. This is your new cooking teacher, Mr. Jayden Russo. She is one of the top chefs in Royal Blue Restaurant, the best in the city. She has come to teach you final years cooking for this session.

Mr. Russo: Nice to meet you students. I am Jayden Russo. Hope we will learn so many new things out of this class and most importantly enjoy cooking! So now I wanted to do something simple and sweet for your first class. Today we are gonna bake some cupcakes!!!

Everyone: Wooohoooo!

Mr. Russo: Okay okay excited I see! I love the enthusiasm! But first of all I will need you all to work in pairs of four since it's the first day. From next day onwards everyone has to work alone and cook the given dish. Is that clear to everyone?

Everyone: Okay Sir.

Mr. Russo: So now form groups and come to my table to collect the ingredients and the utensils are kept on your table.

Bella and Markus walks towards Y/n who was sitting with Jungkook.

Bella: Hey Y/n, let's make a group! Me, Markus, you and Jungkook!
She faces Jungkook and introduces her.
Hii Jungkook I'm Bella and this is Markus, my boyfriend! And we both are Y/n's best friends... So would you like to join our group?

Jungkook: Heyy nice to meet you and sure I'll join you guys. I don't have anyone else to call my friend here except Y/n so yeah...

Bella: Hey we can be your friends too! And we have more of our friends, don't worry you'll meet them soon!

Jungkook: Thank you! I'm a transfer student from Seoul and the only friend I have here in New York is Josh.

Markus: Ooo where is he studying?

Jungkook: Actually he has finished his studying and came to find a job here. Our apartments are close by so we often hang out together.

Y/n: Okay okay enough of introductions for now. Let's go and take thr ingredients or we will not get any!

Markus: Yeah we'll go and take them, you girls arrange our table.

Markus and Jungkook brought the ingredients needed, while Bella and Y/n arranged the utensils. They decided to make a chocolate cheesecake which was Y/n's and Bella's favorite cake.

Jungkook: So do you guys know how to make a chocolate cheesecake? Or do you have the recipe for it?

Bella: Yeah yeah we know! Me and Markus have made it many times together at my place!

Jungkook: And Y/n have you ever made it?

Y/n: Yes. Not only this, I can make many more types of cakes! Don't worry I'll make you someday *smiles*

Bella: Yeahhh Y/n makes the best cakes of all of us. Not only cakes, she can also make many dishes!!

Jungkook: I see. Then I'll have to learn from the best *winks*

Y/n: Hey it's not that good I just try. *gets shy*

Jungkook giggles at her cuteness. Moments like these make his heartbeat faster. He loves to get to know these new sides of Y/n, what she likes, what she dislikes, what makes her happy. He looks at her attentively as she is preparing the batter. Y/n notices it and says...

Y/n: Woah you are fully engrossed in learning I see.

Jungkook: Yeah I love learning new things. It makes me happy.

Y/n: You said earlier that you do cook sometimes?

Jungkook: Well yes I do but I have never made a cake. And I can only cook a few beginner recipes like omelette, riceballs, and my most favorite kimchi fried rice!

Y/n: Wow I have never tasted any korean dishes... Would you make me someday? *puppy eyes*

Jungkook: Yeah sure, trust me it's very tasty and spicy, you'll love it!
*in his mind* Gosh she's sooo cute!

Y/n: So which type of cake do you like? Do you like chocolate cheesecake?

Jungkook: Well I have ate chocolate, vanilla and even red velvet cake but yeah chocolate is my favorite. But it's a normal chocolate cake. I have never tried this cheesecake thing.

Y/n: Woah do you live under a rock or something?!? You need to try so many more!!! There are so many types! Don't worry I'll make you!

Jungkook: That's so sweet of you Y/n. I would love to eat it. *smiles*

Y/n pov:
Ughhhh again he goes with that heart melting smile!!! This guy needs to stob it or I'll end up dead :,)

Y/n: Uhmm ye-yeah sure.

Jungkook pov:
She's so obvious haha. But still so cute. She taught me some more tricks on how to make the best cake ever and I listened like a sincere student trying to process everything she said. I then helped with some things but Yn and Bella did most of it. Markus was just, well, put to doing dishwashing lol. They said he knows how to make the cake but yeah when the girls are at it, you can't just stop them haha.

After a few while, the cake is ready and they decide to decorate it.

Jungkook: So are we done?

Bella: Almost. We need to put some cream on it and I've brought some choco chips! We'll decorate it now.

Bella put the cream evenly and went to Markus who was done with cleaning the table. Y/n took the choco chips packet and tried to open it but couldn't.

Jungkook: Here give it to me I'll tear it.

Y/n: What no. I can do it myself hmmph.
*still struggling to open it*

Jungkook: Yeah yeah I can see that. *takes it from and tried to tear it.

Y/n: Ha you can't tear it tooo *laughs*

He put all his strength and boom all the chocochips scattered all over the table and some got stuck on his face and hair.

Y/n: OMG *laughs out loud* look at you! You look like a cookie with all the choco chips on you! *laughs again*

Bella and Markus came running to them.

Bella: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE HERE!!! OHHH NOOO MY CHOCO CHIPS!

Y/n: Well I didn't do anything! It's kookie here who did it-

Jungkook: Wait what did you just call me?!

Y/n: Kookiee!! *laughs* Kookie haha it suits you!! yayyy from now I'll call you Kookie haha!

Jungkook: *puts his hand on his forehead* Okay dumbass now help me clean this!

Y/n: Yes kookie! *giggles*

Jungkook: *mumbles* You're lucky you're cute...

Y/n: What did you sayyy?

Jungkook: Nothing nothing just get to work.

They both started cleaning up the table and the floor. Only a few were left in the packet and the rest all scattered here and there. They put those few choco chips left on the cake and finished everything. Bella was still angry that they wasted so many choco chips but Markus calmed her down. They showed the cake to Mr. Russo and he liked and appreciated it. Whatever it is, they now look forward for cooking classes as the enjoyed it very much.

After school
At y/n's house

Y/n freshened up after returning and immediately texted Jungkook.

Y/n: Heyyy Kookie!! I need to tell you something!! Me and my friends are going to the amusement park tomorrow since it's the weekend! So do you have any other plans or would you like to join us pleaseeee🥺

Jungkook: Ooo I would love to go. Count me in😉

Y/n: Yayyy let's meet up at the gate of the amusement park at 5pm. We'll be waiting for you there!
