Upon his question being asked, Ekko was afraid of the answer and took in a breath, upon the mutated [Name] was struggling against the binded crystals on them.

An small cough, turned Writh's attention and she turned to see Jinx, arising from the crushed table. Writh threw her crystral-binder at Jinx, making her being pushed to the wall, as they crystals held her in place. Arin wiped the blood off from his forehead, letting out a small groan of pain and trailed on beside Ekko to see what [Name] had become.

"Is that--"

"Yes." Ekko quickly answered, his frown only deepened. He felt that he had failed to save [Name] from this monstrous fate of being turned into this sort of beast.

"To answer your question, I merely experimented on them to see if my task on making a stronger being would work. And, it worked!" Dr Singed gripped his shoulder in the pain of it being harshly thrashed into the wall before, he seemed quite content and proud of himself, not caring for how [Name] being like this affected the others badly.

Pirem glared at Dr Singed, throwing two of her knives at the hems of his shirt to keep him back onto the wall. "You could've, I don't know...Experimented this on anyone else?!"

Eru came up to Pirem, placing his hand upon her shoulder to try calm her down. "Pire, don't worry. At least, [Name] is here. We just need to find a way to help them out."

Writh then spoke up, keeping her glance onto Jinx, "Yeah, Eru's right. But, how are we going to help out [Name], when they look like this now?"

Arin glanced at Ekko with concern, then looking up at [Name], who was tearing at the crystal-binds that were about to break at any moment. "We-- We will find a way. Right, Ekko?"

The others turned their gazes to Ekko expectantly, who quickly nodded, his eyes full of determination. "Yeah-Yeah, we will find a way." He glanced up at [Name], his hands slowly forming into fists. "I promise, Firefly." That was merely a whisper to [Name].

And after that sentence was uttered out, [Name] had managed to break free, the crystals shattered across the room. Droplets of blood seethed a small trail on the floor, only Jinx and Dr Singed seemed to be the only ones seen, as the others were sprawled out onto the floor.

[Name] merely was shaking within a sudden anger from being imprisoned in the crystal-binder, they felt they were trapped in there for too long for their liking. Looking at the area, they gripped a table and flipped it over.

That was the beginning of their sudden anger frenzy. Their outbursting anger was evident, as vials were getting thrown about and one almost hit Jinx.

"Hey, watch it, Sweet Toots! Gotta look my best still."

[Name] let out an indescribable grunt, wrinkling their nose in annoyance and went on with their rampage.

Ekko blinked slowly, his fingers twitched and he got himself up from the ground. Eru, Arin, Writh and Pirem were starting to get up, but they had to crawl towards the doorway to shift away from the oncoming objects. Ekko didn't shift away, instead he started to slowly walk towards [Name].

[Name] rolled their shoulders, turning around and saw Ekko, as they did: they started running towards him and started throwing items at him.

The white-haired boy grabbed his bat, deflecting the incoming objects away from him and was tackled to the ground by [Name]. His bat was pointed at their chest threateningly, both of them were staring intently at each other. The Firelight Monster scrunched their nose up, their eyes flashing with a horrifying red-purple colour with an intent of being full of rage.

[Name] curled their stronger hand into a fist and was about to strike Ekko, but something in them made them not intent on doing this. Maybe, it was the look in Ekko's eyes, but whatever it was: it caused [Name] to recoil back their fist and stare intently at Ekko.

A small inhuman snarl left [Name's] lips, taking in a breath and just yelled piercingly at Ekko's face. Then, moving back they climbed upwards, making their way into the main hallways and started to run towards a barren wall. Once they crashed through it, they tumbled to the ground and mustered their remaining strength, climbing onto the rooftops -- disappearing off.

Ekko widened his eyes in shock, breathing heavily and sat himself up. His bat was released from his grasp, quickly clutching it again and jogged to the others, helping them up.

His shock didn't waver from him on how he could've been dead in this moment. But, he wasn't.

"What the fuck was that?" 

"Did you get hurt by them, Ekko?"

"How did you survive from that?"

"Are you alright?"

Ekko put his hands in the air, a signal for them to calm them and merely sighed. "I don't know what happened back there, but they just didn't attack me...." Scratching the back of his neck, he flinched from feeling a slight jab of pain from a gashed cut on the back of his neck.

"Well, whatever happened back there. It's a relief that you're okay." Eru spoke up, feeling a slash on his cheek and seethed his teeth in the jabbing moment of pain from it.

Ekko silently nodded, grabbing his hoverboard, as the others got theirs. "We'll need to go back to get patched up, but I'll go find Firefly after this."

"What?!" The four chorused in shock. Jinx perked up her head at this allegation, furrowing her brows and let out a small scoff.

"You find Sweet Toots? Pfft, not before I do!" She prolonged the last sentence in a teasing sing-song tone, breaking free from the binded-crystals and grabbed her gun. As she did so, she shot the ground, nearby the five Firelights to divert them away from the bullet, so that she could run past them and make her way out from the building to find [Name], before Ekko did.

And, that is just what she did.

"Great, now I've gotta deal with Jinx. Guys, I really do need to find them, after we get patched up. Who knows what Jinx might do to them!" The white-haired boy let out an irritated groan of annoyance, massaging his forehead to try shrug off some of the stress from his shoulders.

The others held concerned looks, as they started to head on back to the Firelight Sanctuary. Dr Singed was the only one left at the scene, as the knives were keeping him attached to the wall and he could only stare at the destruction that was made in his lab.

His entire life was spent on this, and now it was gone in just a few seconds by one of his own 'lab rats'.

"My work...All gone."
