𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒.,

When King Viserys health starts to decline, the realm delves into whispers on who will be named heir. The daughter he named his heir when he was without wife or any other children, "The Realms Delight" Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Or, his oldest honor bound son, Arrax Targaryen he had with his second wife, Alicent Hightower.

When the Driftmark Throne's succession is put to question both the Black and Green faction are brought together after six summers with long healed wounds still bleeding for old standing injustices and whispers of bastards while tension lurks in the air.

King's Landing also welcomes a new faction from the Vale, Daemon Targaryen and Rhea Royce's children, Lady of Runestone, Ryella Targaryen and her twin brother Baelor Targaryen - who are on the warpath for their mother's murder, their father. For the Runestone motto is "We Remember" and growing up without a mother, the Royce children are petty if not vengeance. And what is more petty than taking the most sought after thing in the realm from their father's godless and bloody hands.

When broken relationships are slowing mending, one word breaks it and the Blacks and Greens, a once so called family are separated again and the Golds snicker. Then everything changes when the Stranger catches another soul in its cold embrace and garden snakes usurp the throne, placing a heavy and blood drenched black crown upon the oldest son's curly white hair.

Bypassing laws of succession, a civil war approaches threatening to drown the realm and its people in fire and blood. Everyone must choose a side and pray it was the right choice. Family and lovers are pitted against each other in the name of duty, honor and loyalty. Hearts break and stop, bones snap, the smell of burning flesh chokes, flowers wilt and dragons cease to exist...

𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒

𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒

i. AU, so clearly this will be an AU but it will follow the book and show for the most part but things will no doubt change due to the oc's appearance. So that means canon characters (that aren't seen in the show just yet are in here) like Cregan, Daeron, the dragonseeds etc., are in this (and open as love interests). So take that into account you have all types of opportunities for creative characters and storylines. Hopefully for this fic, it'll be long spanning the events before and during the dance, the aftermath; hour of the wolf and Aegon III and even potentially cover the Blackfyre Rebellion or either Game of Thrones AU style if people are interested in seeing that and applying for that. Fire and Blood has lowkey instilled Targaryen Propaganda and I'm here for it and hopefully you readers are too.

ii. THE GOLDS, is a new faction which is Ryella and Baelor Targaryen being backed by Runestone, the Vale and some others. It will be more explained as the fic continues since this is written from all sides, Green, Black and Gold so it probably won't be as neutral as I wanted to make it. Some see the Royce children as legitimate contestors to the Throne since Daemon was heir for a while and would still be heir if Viserys didn't bypass law of succession due to being Viserys brother. So as his legal and non-bastard children they are contestors. The Golds are merely anti-Daemon so they don't back either side since they aren't pro green or black, they just want revenge of Daemon and most Vale members want to stop seeing white haired dragons on the Throne. I mainly need oc's for the Gold faction but if you want to have one for Green or Black than you're welcome. I'm still not a hundred percent sure on adding a new faction so comment how you feel about it and any ideas.

iii. DIVERSITY, please let's be diverse with your oc's (not that I can talk). They can be all sorts of races, genders, personality types - morally grey or black, sunshine and rainbows or absolute full on menaces to society. They can be bastards, knights, royalty, maids, spies/assassins etc., so let's make some exciting characters. I want as much angst, tension, political warfare, betrayal as this story can get. They can also show up at any time, they don't have to all show up in act one, chapter one and what not. Hell you can even make your own house (can't be one of the big lordships though) with its own history, motto, family etc., I also really want to see characters that aren't Targaryen's, Lannisters or Starks but if you really want to do one then that's fine. I just want to explore other lesser known houses.

iv. CREATIVITY, If you want to go the extra mile and want to get really invested in this fic with your character than by all means write a more in depth tale for your character and want them to go do something else that isn't connected to the canon characters than let me know and we can discuss it! There is a few timeskips so there's plenty of things they can do then. You can be interactive as much as you want with your OC in this fic.

v. FACE CLAIMS, so if your oc is in the same range as the young kids (ex. Helena, Jace, Aemond etc.,) then you'll need two face claims for act one and two so have face claims that at least look their age. Or you can use a face claim that's been in the media since young. Please no ticktockers or influencers and try and have a media relevant face claim. Example, my main two ocs are Henry Cavil and Timtohee Chalamet who have both been in historical pieces like the Witcher/the Tudors and the King. Taken Face claims; Henry Cavil, Timtohe Chalamet, Clementine Nicholson, Harry Gilby and Poppy Drayton.

vi. LOVE INTERESTS, you can choose if your oc has a love interest or not, totally fine if they don't have one! If you want to make another oc for a love interests thats fine but there is another form for that below. If you want your oc to have canon character for a love interest please also fill the love interest form out so I know their dynamics and history. If you don't have a love interest in mind but are open to it just write open in the love interest part and you might change your mind and want your oc to be with another person's oc if there open. If a few people want a specific canon love interest, I'll have to pick the most detailed and best one to fit the story. Your ocs can have multiple love interests throughout, not all of them have to be endgame and poly is welcome (and encouraged) in my fics. Arrax (Helaena is married to him btw), Maegor, Adria and Jacaerys Velaryon are taken though!

vii. FORMS, please fill everything out and if there's something that doesn't apply to your character just write N/A! Be as detailed as you can so I can write them the way you want. You can send them to my discord if you want at illyaxsviel#1017. Or just link a google doc if that's what you want to use.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐃𝐒

Poppy Drayton as Ryella Targaryen, older twin to Baelor and daughter of Rhea Royce and Daemon Targaryen. Like her brother, she was kept secret from Daemon and House Targaryen and soon becomes Lady of Runestone, ruling alongside her brother Baelor after the murder of their mother Rhea Royce. Ryella is a gentle, political and cunning woman who believes in just justice and is a sharp shot like her mother. The Royce-Targaryen children do not know their other family, never having met them before their arrival in Kings Landing for the succession petition for Lucerys Velaryon as heir to Driftmark. Ryella is also the only one to have a dragon because Baelor's did not hatch. Viserys I was the only one to know of his brother's children after hearing a passing remark form a council member and sent two dragon eggs as customs for Targaryen children to have eggs. With Rhea keeping them secret, Viserys understood the bad blood between his brothers wife and himself and elected to stay quite till they could grow and hold themselves well before meeting their father who then killed her when the children were 3 and Baelor and Ryella grew up under their Uncle's care and she soon took the set as her mother's heir due to Baelor not wanting it at the age of 12.

Harry Gilby as Baelor Targaryen, younger twin to Ryella and son of Rhea Royce and Daemon Targaryen. Baelor has more interest in fighting, hunting and looking after the more common folk than ruling Runestone and dealing with politics. He is known as the "Sword of the Vale" for his swordmanship and his actions for protecting the Vale from all sorts, be it wild animals and theifs. He loves his sister and they have a strong bond and are protective of each other. While his dragon egg did not hatch as much as he prayed, he still did not feel jealous over his sister as they flew together alot overseeing the Vale but Baelor still wanted a dragon and would soon claim one.

The Golds have the support of the Vale and it's lords and ladies. With the Vale's harsh mountains, they have strategetic defensiblity and are also filled with precious metals and fertile fields. The Vale also has a formidable military of thousands of men and can be well feed for long unlike most military due to their crops and fields. Due to Baelor and Ryella not being wed yet, there is time to gather more support for the prospect.

(These two are open for love interests, not sure where I wanna take their romance just yet. I kinda wanna bring the Martells in but due to them not participating in the Dance I don't think that'll happen. There's also the idea of bringing in Serea Targaryen descendants in Volantis idk - potential oc?)
