"Amelie?" Avani knocked even though the door was already a little open. She pushed the door so she could she Amelie. She saw the girl in her bed, her hair a mess, and she looked like she had been crying for a while.

"Hi." Amelie mumbled, sitting up a bit.

Avani gave her a small smile as she walked over and sat down on the bed, crossing her legs and facing her.

"How do you feel?" Avani asked softly.

"Fine, I guess." Amelie shrugged. She used her sleeves to wipe her eyes. She didn't meet Avani's eyes. She was too scared Avani would notice how sad she was, and she didn't want anyone to worry.

"Have you talked to Cynthia?" Avani asked. Amelie shook her head. "Do you even want to?"

"I don't know." Amelie sighed. "I mean I do wanna talk to her. I wanna know what happened, and why she just suddenly ended things when I thought we had something good, but I also don't wanna make things worse, you know?" Avani nodded showing she was listening. "I'm just gonna give her some space, and wait for her to make the next move."

"I talked to Charli yesterday." Avani said. "We were talking, and she said this has happened before."

"What do you mean?" Amelie questioned, looking at her with a curious look.

"She said that Cynthia did something similar in one of her other relationships. She kinda psyches herself out, and she ends the whole thing." Avani explained what Charli had told her.

"Oh." Amelie nodded slowly.

"I don't know." Avani shrugged. "Just give her time, I'm sure she'll come around."

"I hope so." Amelie mumbled.

"Hey, why don't you get dressed, so we can go out to eat?" Avani suggested. "Anthony and Blake are coming too."

"Yeah, alright." Amelie nodded, standing up.

I decided to switch it up and add Amelie's pov so yeah :)
