You are a girl with the appearance of a boy. You didn't care about your appearance. For you, it should not matter whether or not a girl can do the things most guys like to do and vice versa. There's nothing wrong with a girl who likes to play sports or a boy who likes to perform in musicals. In your opinion, true beauty comes from within.

You put on a baggy sweater, a pair of baggy jeans, and some old sneakers. A friend of yours recommended a place for you to visit in Magnolia, so you decided to check it out. As you were walking into town, a couple of punks were standing in front of you. Obviously, they are looking for a fight. "Where do you think you're going, little man?" a boy who you assumed was the leader of this little gang asked you. Standing up for yourself, you were not intimidated by him.

"I'm just passing through town, minding my own business. Now if you excuse me, I have to go somewhere." You responded. The punks were not too pleased with your attitude toward them. "Look here, mister. There's a toll you have to pay to get through. So, give us your money, and we'll let you through." The leader said. His two other friends were standing next to him. All three of them were trying to block your path. Not even considering giving in to their demands, you pushed the leader away.

Not even a step you took before the leader grabbed you and pushed you against the wall. He grabbed your collar and made you look at him. Your hands were on his, trying to break free. However, you can't move because he's got a good grip on you. "That was a bad mistake you made, you little runt. You shouldn't have messed with us. Now you're going to pay." The leader said. Next thing you know, him and his gang were beating you up. They threw punches to your face, kick you in the stomach, and spit on you. You tried to fight back, but there were more of them and only one of you.

"BACK OFF!!!" A voice explained. You caught a glimpse of a large man with silver hair, beating the snot of these punks. What surprises you is how he is using magic. He transformed his arm into a steel arm. The punks were knocked out. "Hey, are you alright?" The guy walked over to you. You tried getting up, but the pain to your stomach was harsh. The guy with the silver hair carried you in his arms. "Hey, you shouldn't stand up. You got beaten pretty bad." The guy said. You got a good look at him. He was pretty cute for a guy you just met.

"Big brother Elfman." A voice exclaimed. Both of you turn to see two girls with silver hair running towards you. You finally have a name for your savior. The girls noticed you took quite a beating. "Oh, my goodness, are you alright?" The older girl with silver hair asked you. You shook your head. "No. My stomach really hurts." You said. The girls had panic expressions written on their faces.

"The gang we were supposed to capture gave her a real beating. I was able to stop them before things got ugly." Elfman said. The girls were staring at them and then back to you. "I almost forgot we haven't introduced ourselves. My name is Lisanna. The other girl is my big sister Mirajane. And that's my big brother Elfman." The younger silver girl introduced herself and her siblings. "My name is (Y/N). It's nice to meet you." You introduced yourself. "So, what were you doing with those guys?" Elfman asked. You explained to them how the fight happened and that you were on your way to visit Fairy Tail.

"Thank you so much." You said to them. As Elfman carried you, he saw how brutally beaten up you were. The clothes you were wearing are covered in blood and dirt. Now that he's gotten a good look at you, he starts to notice your features. You have such pretty (E/C) eyes. You have long eyelashes. To Elfman, you look like a girl. And a really pretty one. Now he's thinking what has gotten into him. You're obviously a man Elfman thought. Though, Elfman feels bad for not getting there sooner. He hopes he can train you on how to be a real man.

"Hey (Y/N), do you mind if I can teach you how to be a man?" Elfman asked. You looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "Why?" You asked him. "Would you mind if I teach you how to fight? I might not be around to save you, so maybe I can teach you how to fight for yourself. I mean, if you want to." Elfman asked you. You were quite surprised. Instead of saying you should fight because you're a boy (even though you're not), he's saying you should fight to defend yourself. He's actually thinking of your wellbeing. And he acknowledges you for standing up for yourself. It made you smiled.

"Yeah. I would be more than happy for you to teach me." You said with a smile. Elfman smiled at your expression. "Besides, it would be nice to know what it's like to have a brother." He said. That's when it hit you. He's just like the other people who think you're a guy. Not that it matters anyway. You didn't care if you looked like a dude. You decided to play along as always. "Yeah, teach me how to be a real man." You said in your manly voice. Elfman and Lisanna were chucking were laughing at your imitation of Elfman. And thus, you made new friends.

[Time Skip]

When you arrived at Fairy Tail, you greeted a lot of the guild members. After your introduction, Lisanna and Elfman carried you to the infirmary. Elfman left to get you some new clothes. "Wait a minute, you're a girl?" Lisanna asked you with eyes bugged out. As you were taking off your clothes, she came back to the infirmary room with bandages. You turned around to see her shocked expression. "Biologically speaking, yes." You said to Lisanna. She dropped the bandages.

"I'm so sorry. I thought you were a guy because of the way you dressed." Lisanna repentantly apologized to you. You explain to her your whole situation. Afterward, Lisanna felt more comfortable put on your bandages. To be honest, she blushed at the idea of putting bandages on your body, thinking you had a guy's body. You chatted with Lisanna for a bit. She decided to get some of her clothes since Elfman's clothes might be a little too big for you. She promised not to get anything to fancy. You were alone in the infirmary again when...

"Hey (Y/N), I got you some clothes." Elfman said. You turned around to face the door. Elfman blushed when he saw you in your underwear and bandages. "OH MY GOSH!!! (Y/N) YOU'RE A GIRL??!!" Elfman asked. Embarrassed, you grabbed a blanket to cover yourself up. Mirajane and Lisanna entered the infirmary to see their brother shell-shocked. Lisanna already explained to Mirajane and the guild members you were a girl. The last person to know you were a girl was Elfman.

Lisanna brought you a (Y/O) [Your Preferred Outfit] since you told her how you were comfortable wearing it. You changed behind the curtains and wore the outfit Lisanna brought you. When you walked out of the curtain, Elfman started panicking and stuttering. "Sorry for lying to you Elfman. It's just I really don't care if people see me as a girl or a guy. I just want people to see me for who I am rather than what my appearance is." You explained to him. Elfman's sisters were giggling on Elfman's reaction. "You know, I thought you were a real man when you saved me from those guys. Thank you so much." You told Elfman. Seeing your cuteness, Elfman blushed like a tomato.

"I think we might have a sister-in-law pretty soon." Mirajane whispered to her younger sister. "Yeah they make an awesome couple." Lisanna whispered back to her sister. After your little secret was out, you became an employee at Fairy Tail. You worked alongside Mirajane as a waitress. Lisanna was glad to make another female friend and tries to bring out your feline side once in a while. And Elfman showed you how to be a real man.... by asking you out on a date.
