WAKING UP NOT knowing where the fuck she wasn't really Juliet's idea of a good time, and was becoming number one on the list of things she ten-out-of-ten definitely would not recommended.
She was stirred out of her unconscious state by the sound of a hand knocking against glass. Juliet groaned a little, her head slightly pounding and her body sore. However, she was sitting on what seemed to be concrete, her head resting against the concrete. Juliet glanced up, only to see a glass wall in front of her. She was confined into a tiny box — great, she was in jail.
Juliet looked across the way. The sound of the knocking was coming from a man across the way. He had a metal mask on, and he was sitting on his knees, desperately knocking against the glass of his own tiny box. Juliet's eyebrows knit in confusion as she slowly stood up.
"Nice of you to join us," an eerily familiar voice said.
Juliet's head snapped over. Somehow, she had missed the other girl sitting in the cell with her — how that was possible because the cell was so small, she didn't know. Juliet blinked a couple of times, trying to make sure she wasn't hallucinating, because she was staring back . . .
At herself.
Earth-Two Juliet looked, well, like Juliet. The same red-tinted hair, the same green eyes, the same complexion. Her suit was much different than Juliet's though. Her face was fully out on display since she wasn't wearing a mask. Sitting on top of her head was what seemed to be a crown that looked like the shape of a letter M — the same symbol Juliet wore on her ears for comms. Her suit was more of a muted red, a rigid halter top paired with black leather pants. A belt with a silver symbol rested on her hips, and falling from it was a long muted red piece of fabric, much like a cape.
However, Earth-Two Juliet looked . . . in the most simple terms, fucked up. Her skin was a sickly pale color, littered with bruises and dark circles under her eyes. She was kind of curling into herself like she had been trapped in this cell for too long — which, she probably had been.
"Witch?" Juliet asked, her voice quiet and laced with shock.
"Juliet Allen also works," Earth-Two Juliet replied. "And you are . . ."
"Scarlet. Juliet St. James."
The knocking interrupted their conversation. Juliet turned back to the man in the mask, but then her eyes caught on somebody else. In Zoom's lair (yeah, she figured out where she was because of Witch, go her) was a caged off section. Standing in it was a teenage girl, looking frightfully scared and her skin stained with dirt. There was only one answer as to who that could be.
"Jesse," Juliet said, moving to the other side of the cell she was in effort to at least try and get closer to her. "Hi. Me and my friends are here with your dad. I promise we're going to get you out of here, okay?"
Zoom's blue lightning sped into the lair, igniting the dim place for a second. He stopped right in front of where Juliet was standing in the cell on the other side of the glass. At the sight of him, Jesse immediately stumbled backwards and started to cry. Even Earth-Two Juliet tried to make it seem like she was blending into the wall. Juliet stared back at Zoom, her jaw clenching in anger.
"It's not wise to make promises you can't keep, Scarlet," Zoom told her. "Look around. This is the last place you'll ever see."
"First of all, you talk agonizingly slow," Juliet voiced. "Isn't your whole thing speed? It's boring. You're boring. I'm bored. Second of all, you told me that you wanted to see how much the Flash really loves me. Good for you, I have a lot of fucking faith in him. He's not going to just give up." She stepped closer to the glass. "And neither am I."
Zoom did nothing but just stare at her for a moment before speeding off. Juliet stared at the spot where he was for a moment. She had to get out of here. Juliet closed her eyes, preparing to teleport. In her mind, she imagined the cell in her mind, and the familiar tingling feeling spread throughout her body, but . . . then it went away.
"If you're trying to teleport, it's not going to work," Earth-Two Juliet said from behind her. "Trust me, I've tried."
Juliet turned to her, her back pressing against the glass as she crossed her arms. "Why won't it work? Did Zoom develop some sort of anti-teleportation technology?"
"I don't know how the fuck he did it, but Zoom found a way to make sure our powers work in this cell only. We can't do anything to the outside. Found that out when I tried to cut Jesse loose."
"No, I don't believe that," Juliet protested. "Maybe if the two of us—"
"I can't," Earth-Two Juliet interjected. "My powers are gone."
Juliet stared at her incredulously. "Gone? What do you mean they're gone?"
Earth-Two Juliet sighed. "I've been here for months. Much like you, I tried to get out of the cell when I got here. However, every time, Zoom would come back, come into the cell, and knock me around until I was unconscious. He also repeatedly told me I wasn't leaving and that no one was looking for me." She gave Juliet a sad smile. "After a while, I started to believe it was true, and I was getting tired." Earth-Two Juliet raised her hand, but no energy appeared. "I can still feel them, but no matter what I try, they won't come back out."
Juliet frowned. Earth-Two Juliet was alive, but she had been through absolute hell. Here she was, sitting in a box she couldn't escape from with no powers because of Zoom, believing that the people she cared about the most weren't going to rescue her.
"Your husband's looking for you," Juliet said. "And your best friend."
Earth-Two Juliet straightened up from that, hope shining through her darkened eyes. "Barry? And Iris?"
"And Jay. He's back on my Earth, but he's been really worried about you ever since he came." Juliet pushed herself off the glass and looked around the cell. "But there's no way that we're just trapped. There has to be a way out of here."
"You're wasting your time," Jesse interrupted. "I used to think I could escape too when I first got here. But there's no way out."
The man across the way resumed his knocking. Juliet tilted her head at him in curiosity.
She nodded to him. "Who's he?"
"We don't know," Earth-Two Juliet answered. "He's been here ever since I came — in other words, a long time."
"Stop, okay?" Jesse pleaded, her voice shaking as he continued to knock. "Just — just please stop."
Juliet stared at him. "No, wait. I think he's trying to help."
"Nothing is gonna help us."
"That isn't true. We're going to get out of here.. Your dad is going to find us, and my boyfriend, too, who I assume is a little hellbent right now."
(Juliet was correct. Barry was losing his absolute God damn mind.)
"You sure have a lot of faith in a man who only cares about himself," Jesse replied. "Talking about my dad, by the way."
Juliet gave Jesse a tiny smile. "I used to believe that, too. It's not true, though. Everything he's done since coming to my Earth, every decision he's made, has been for you. All he wants to do is save you. That's actually why we came. He hasn't given up on you, I promise. So please, don't give up on him."
The place was illuminated by a flash of blue lightning. Zoom appeared in front of Jesse's cage. At once, Jesse stumbled back away from him with a screen, tears starting to roll down her cheeks and creating miniature rivers through the dirt on her skin. Juliet watched him, feeling annoyance and anger flow throughout her.
"Believe what you want, but the only reason that you're still alive is so I can kill you in front of your father," Zoom revealed. "And the only reason your father's still alive . . ." He turned his head to Juliet. "Is to get me the Flash's speed. Once he does that, he will die too."
He then sped off, apparently done with the theatrics. Juliet rolled her eyes — how annoying. She lowered herself to sit on the ground next to herself (which was a very weird thing to say, by the way.) Now that Zoom was gone, Jesse had started to calm down some, and Earth-Two Juliet didn't seem as secluded into herself anymore.
Juliet's eyebrows knit in concentration as the man in the mask started to knock again. "He's not using Morse Code, but he has to be knocking for a reason. All we have to do is find the pattern to figure out what he's trying to tell us."
"There's no pattern, Juliet," Jesse protested.
"Do you want to know something?" Juliet questioned, and Jesse slightly nodded. "Back on my Earth, my boyfriend worked with your dad. Now, I'm pretty sure that he's one of the smartest people to live on both of our Earths, and he told Barry that the only person who was smarter than him was you."
Jesse seemed shocked. "He said that?"
"That's what Barry told me, but he knows better than to lie to me, so I'm positive it's true. If we work together, all three of us, I know we can figure it out. What do you say?"
"Oh, what the heck," Earth-Two Juliet stated. "Sounds fun."
Jesse nodded. "Okay." She paused to listen to the knocks. "Well, he never goes past five. He never goes past five knocks without pausing. Right? Listen."
Juliet listened, and as she slowly stood up, she realized that Jesse was right. "Okay." Suddenly, she remembered something — looks like her history lessons paid off. "Wait, I know what that is. Prisoners of War sometimes use a five-by-five tap code to send messages."
"That would only get us to twenty-five letters, and there's twenty-six in the alphabet."
"C and K sound the same, so they're combined," Earth-Two Juliet voiced. "Why didn't I think of that?"
Juliet shrugged. "I mean, technically, you kind of did. Let's figure this out, yeah?"
Jesse found a piece of chalk in her cell — maybe Zoom had given it to her to make sure she wasn't so bored, Juliet didn't fucking know. She drew the five-by-five board on the ground and wrote a letter in all of the squares. Juliet then focused on the knocks that the man was giving.
"Two down, five across," Juliet stated.
"It's J," Jesse responded.
She looked at the man. "Are you trying to tell us the letter J?" He nodded. "Okay, keep going."
Jesse listened to the knocks. "A." The man then knocked again. "Five down . . . four across. Y."
"Jay?" Earth-Two Juliet read hopefully, sounding a lot happier at the name. "Jay Garrick?"
"He's alive," Juliet told the man. "He's on my Earth, though."
The man immediately got frustrated. He shook his head rapidly and rapped his knuckles against the glass, but he wasn't trying to tell them something this time.
"Hey, I'm sorry, but I really don't know what you mean. Jay Garrick isn't here anymore."
"Look, just keep tapping, please," Jesse stated. "We don't understand."
Earth-Two Juliet nodded. "Please, keep going."
Zoom then sped back into the room, standing in front of the man's cage. "Don't talk to them again."
He then sped in front of Juliet and Earth-Two Juliet's cage. Earth-Two Juliet seemed to press herself into the wall as close as humanly possible. Juliet just stared at Zoom strongly, her eyes starting to turn red from anger.
"What the fuck do you want now?" Juliet complained.
Zoom vibrated his entire body and phased right through the glass.
Juliet sighed. "Shit."
Zoom reached out and grabbed her throat, lifting her completely up off the ground. He then threw her to the floor. Juliet let out a slight groan of pain as her body slammed into the concrete next to Earth-Two Juliet. She pressed up onto her hands and instantly connected her mind to Zoom's.
She reached up a hand and pushed it away from her, sending Zoom back into the glass — but, like always when she was dealing with an Earth-Two Metahuman, she could feel her powers push against her like they didn't want to work. "Get away from me. You may do that weird little phase thing, but I swear to God, I will find a way out of here and make sure that you will never see the light of day again."
Zoom yelled in outrage and grabbed her neck again, picking her up right off the ground. "All I need from you is the Flash's speed. You only need to be barely alive for me to get it, because I know he'll come rescue you."
"Then go ahead," Juliet urged. "Fucking hit me, you motherfucker."
Zoom wound his other hand back and punched her right across the face. He let her drop back down to the ground, but at super speed, he did what he did to Earth-Two Juliet — knocked her around. Juliet was vaguely aware of all of the blows Zoom was landing on her, but there was only one thing on her mind.
She knew how to get out of here.
Finally, Zoom listened to Jesse's cries of telling him to stop. Juliet landed in a heap on the floor. Her entire body ached, and she could taste blood in her mouth. She felt a hand get placed on her shoulder — Earth-Two Juliet, who had managed to stay in her corner the whole time. Juliet didn't blame her for sparing herself out of another beating after being in her for months.
"Juliet," Jesse called. "Juliet, are you okay?"
"Oh, yeah, I'm good," Juliet replied, pushing herself to sit up. "But I think I found a way to get out of here."
She started by touching all of the places on her body that hurt. At once, her skin glowed red, and all the injuries went away. Juliet stood back up and looked at the glass. She had mind control — she could get the fuck out of here if she wanted to.
Zoom's phasing gave her an idea. Juliet could mind control the glass, make it go away just enough so she could escape. Like phasing, but Juliet's version. Her palm ignited with red energy and she placed it on the glass. With her eyes narrowed in concentration, she focused, and focused, and focused . . .
But nothing. All she got was some random spikes of pain in her head that sent her stumbling back and practically trying to hold herself up against the wall until they went away.
"You're going to hurt yourself, babe," Earth-Two Juliet called from behind her.
"You know, if Zoom catches you, he's gonna hurt you again," Jesse added.
Juliet shook her head, feeling the pain go away. "It's fine, I can take it. I just don't understand why it isn't working. I should be more than powerful enough, so it's definitely something else."
"Maybe you're resonating at a different frequency."
Juliet's eyes widened. "Oh my God, you're right. Your Earth vibrates at a different frequency than mine does. It's the same reason why Cisco can't vibe."
"Is there any way to make up the difference?" Jesse inquired.
She sighed. "Only if I get more powerful."
Juliet tried it a couple more times before she decided to take a break, because overloading her powers and causing herself an extreme headache was dangerously close. She let out a deep breath and slumped to the floor again. Juliet tucked one knee into her chest and rested her elbow on it, pushing her hair away from her face.
"So . . ." Earth-Two Juliet trailed off. "I'm guessing the two of us are basically the same?"
Juliet raised an eyebrow. "Dating Barry? Best friends with Iris? Little sister named Noelle?"
Earth-Two Juliet slightly smiled. "Yeah. God, I miss them."
"I mean, like I said earlier, they are looking for you. My guess is they've joined forces with my Barry, because wherever Jesse was, we assumed you were, too."
"What's your Barry like?" Earth-Two Juliet asked. "Is he just as much of a nerd as mine?"
Juliet laughed a little. "Oh, for sure. He's a lot like your Barry. Just take yours, get rid of the glasses and bowtie, add some super speed, and they're basically the same."
Earth-Two Juliet rested her head against the wall, looking up at the ceiling. "It's crazy to think that the Earth-One versions of ourselves are dating. It kind of makes me believe in soulmates."
"Trust me, I feel the same," Juliet agreed. "I like to think of it as a forever lover kind of thing."
"Forever lover," Earth-Two Juliet repeated, smiling softly. "I like that. Are you two married?"
"Not yet," Juliet answered, and Gideon saying Juliet Allen that day in the Time Vault echoed throughout her mind. "One day, though."
"My wedding was the best day of my life. I know yours is probably gonna be epic."
Juliet giggled. "I sure hope so."
Suddenly, footsteps echoed throughout the lair. Juliet straightened up a bit from it, now on high alert.
"Juliet?" Barry's voice called, and Juliet's heart soared. "Juliet!"
"Barry?" Juliet and Earth-Two Juliet questioned at the same time.
Juliet scrambled to her feet, and Earth-Two Juliet got up as well. She immediately brightened once she saw the sight of her boyfriend rushing up to her, the hood of his suit down and looking extremely relieved. Behind him was Cisco, Harry, Earth-Two Iris, Earth-Two Barry, and . . . Killer Frost?
She didn't have time to question it. Juliet moved closer to the cell and put her hands on the glass. On the other side, Barry put his hands in the same spot.
"You came," Juliet said.
"Of course I did," Barry responded. "I'll always run back to you."
She looked over his shoulder at the smiling figure of Cisco. "Hey, Cisco."
Cisco's smile widened even further. "Dude, we made it."
"Sweetheart," Earth-Two Barry let out, appearing on the other side of Barry with Earth-Two Iris. "I'm so glad you're okay."
Earth-Two Juliet let out a happy sob, nodding her head. "Yeah, I'm okay. God, I've missed you."
"We've missed you too, Jules," Earth-Two Iris said, tears of her own shining in her eyes.
"How did you find us?" Juliet questioned.
Cisco nodded to Killer Frost. "Had some help." He then pointed to Earth-Two Barry. "Don't even get me started on this guy. Oh boy."
"Do you know how weird it is to hang out with yourself?" Barry inquired.
Juliet blinked at him. "Considering I'm locked in a cell with myself right now, dumbass, I'm gonna say yes."
"Oh. Right."
Harry then practically pushed everyone else out of the way to get to Jesse. "Stand back." He lifted up the gate and instantly hugged her tight, letting out a breath of relief. "I'm here. I'm here. Come on, let's get you out of here. Okay." He tried to cut the chain on her loose, but it wouldn't budge. "Allen."
Barry hesitated for a moment, glancing at Juliet.
"I'll still be in the cell when you get back," Juliet promised.
Barry nodded. He walked over to them and vibrated his hand fast. At once, it cut through the chain, setting Jesse completely free. He then immediately went back to Juliet, putting his hands back on the glass as if he could suddenly make it go away.
He then looked to Killer Frost. "Can you get them out of there?"
"Not part of the deal," Killer Frost insisted.
"Hey, hey, hey, bringing us up here wasn't part of the deal, either, but here you are," Cisco told her. "Something tells me you're not as cold as I thought you were."
"Maybe, maybe not."
Both Barry's and Earth-Two Iris moved out of the way. Killer Frost shot ice out of her hands at the cell, but nothing happened to the glass. Juliet's heart sank as she tried again, but still the same results.
"What's going on?" Earth-Two Iris questioned. "Why — why isn't it working?"
"I don't know," Killer Frost admitted. "I've never had this problem before."
Barry looked to Harry for help. "Dr. Wells . . ."
Harry let go of his daughter and walked up to the glass. "Carbyne. It's some form of carbyne. This cell's made out of some form of carbyne. You'll never be able to freeze them out of there."
"You can't teleport out of there?" Cisco inquired.
Juliet shook her head. "Zoom's made it so only our powers work inside of the cell. I've tried to mind control the glass, but I wasn't powerful enough."
"Then I'll get you," Barry offered.
"Listen. Zoom's able to phase through this, but we resonate at a different frequency. You would have to run, like, super fucking fast to make up for the difference." She looked at all of them, accepting her fate. "We came here to get Jesse, and we got her. So just go, okay? Before Zoom gets back and does another one of his dramatic speeches."
"No way." Barry stared at her strongly. "I am not leaving you here."
Juliet gave him a sad smile. "I don't want to leave you either, but there isn't a way to get out of this cell. I've tried a lot, and I'm not powerful enough to get out." She nodded to Earth-Two Juliet. "She doesn't even have her powers. You have to go."
Earth-Two Iris blinked at Earth-Two Juliet. "You don't have your powers?"
Earth-Two Juliet shrugged sadly. "That's what spending all my time in this fucking thing with Zoom has done."
"I love you, okay?" Juliet reminded Barry, who was staring at her in a way that was so extremely heartbreaking. "Forever. You know that."
"Do you know what we did to get here, Juliet?" Earth-Two Barry interjected.
Earth-Two Juliet rolled her eyes fondly, a tear dripping down her cheek. "Here comes the monologue."
"We convinced her—" he pointed to Killer Frost "—Killer Frost, to show us the way. Then we climbed some insanely steep cliffs outside on footholds made of ice, ice! And all of us risked our lives, knowing Zoom was after us, to rescue Jesse . . . and you." He then looked to Earth-Two Juliet, his eyes shining with adoration. "And you. Now, I don't know you like I know my Juliet, and you don't know me like you know your Barry, but I can tell you that today, I — I did things that I never thought possible, because I needed to prove to my best friend, and to my wife, and to myself that I could. Now, if I can do the impossible today, so can you. I'm just Barry Allen, but you two, you're Scarlet and Witch. If you tell yourself you can mind control your way out of there, you'll do it."
Earth-Two Juliet sniffled. "You did that to get to me?" Earth-Two Barry nodded. "God, I'm so in love with you."
Barry looked at Juliet, his eyes impossibly big. "J. Please."
Juliet nodded slightly before looking to her doppelganger. "We can do it. Together."
"Together?" Earth-Two Juliet repeated. "No, I told you that my powers went away, remember? Zoom made me suppress them, and I'm not able to make them come back out."
"I don't believe that. Zoom may have made you suppress them, but it's not him that's inhibiting you from making them come back out. You're holding your own self back." She stared into Earth-Two Juliet's eyes strongly. "You can do it. I know you can."
Hesitantly, Earth-Two Juliet nodded. Juliet let out a deep breath and looked down at her palms, allowing red energy to ignite them. She placed her left hand on the glass and extended her other hand out to her doppelganger. Earth-Two Juliet took her hand and placed her right one on the glass.
She focused on the glass, staring at it in concentration. You'll do what I want you to do, Juliet repeated in her mind, and the energy in her hands seemed to glow brighter. You'll do as I say. Her eyes slid over for a moment, only to see that Earth-Two Juliet was doing the same thing, her palm glowing a weak shade of red — but it didn't matter, because she was doing it.
In front of her very eyes, the carbyne glass started to fade away until it was gone. Juliet knew they only had a split second. She gripped onto her doppelganger's hand a little tighter and jumped out of the cell, tugging Earth-Two Juliet with her. At once, their concentrations dropped, and the carbyne glass restored itself. Juliet let out a small laugh and let go of her doppelganger's hand. They had done it.
Juliet barely had time to blink before she was swept up into someone's arms, her feet coming off of the floor. She didn't even have to guess who it was — she already knew. Juliet let out a breath of relief and clutched onto Barry tight, basking in the comfort as he held her close like he would never let her go.
"Oh my God, J, I'm so sorry," Barry voiced. "I love you, I love you."
"Hey, lovebirds," Cisco called. "You know I love a good reunion, but we gotta go."
"Wait, no," Juliet protested, getting down from Barry's embrace and looking at the man in the metal mask. "I'm not just leaving him here."
"Juliet, there's no time," Harry insisted.
Zoom then sped back into the room, and Juliet felt Barry slightly push her behind his back. "He's not going anywhere, and neither are any of you." He looked at Killer Frost. "Thank you for bringing them to me."
Cisco stared at her incredulously. "You double-crossed us? He killed Ronnie!"
"Guess my heart is as cold as you thought after all," Killer Frost replied.
"I can't believe you. Just so you know, you would be very disappointed in you right now."
"Zoom," Barry began. "Let them go."
"Barry," Juliet said, almost pleadingly, behind him.
Harry stepped up beside Barry. "All you need is me and Barry."
"You're right," Zoom agreed. "I may not be able to kill you yet, but I can kill them." He then sped through all of them, grabbing Jesse and holding her close to him. "I told you I'd kill you in front of your father."
"No!" Harry screamed. "No!"
"Oh, blah blah blah, cut it out with the fucking monologue," Juliet cut in, stepping in front of everyone as Zoom vibrated his hand. She summoned a red ball of energy to her hand. "Jesus Christ, the theatrics."
However, before she could do anything, a blast of ice was shot from over Juliet's shoulder and hit Zoom, making him fly backwards and let go of Jesse. Juliet slightly jumped and shrieked, moving out of the way.
"Get out of here," Killer Frost ordered, walking up to Zoom and using more ice to hold him down.
At once, Earth-Two Juliet, Earth-Two Barry, Earth-Two Iris, and Jesse ran out of the lair. Juliet looked back at the man in the metal mask, her heart sinking.
"Caitlin," Cisco breathed out.
"You were right," Killer Frost responded. "He killed Ronnie."
"Thank you."
Cisco then ran out.
"Barry," Juliet pleaded. "I can't leave him, I can't—"
"Juliet, there's no time, there's no time!" Harry shouted.
"I can't hold him forever," Killer Frost added.
Barry looked down at his girlfriend. "J, I know, but we have to go."
Juliet swallowed nervously and looked back at the man. "When this is all over, I promise, I'm coming back for you."
"Go!" Killer Frost yelled.
In a flash of yellow lightning, Barry took Harry and Cisco with him. Juliet ran up to the other group, who were indeed waiting by the footholds of ice.
"Everybody grab onto me," Juliet demanded.
They all obeyed. Juliet then teleported away, heading back to S.T.A.R. Labs. She landed in their version of the cortex, which looked dramatically different. Juliet let out a breath of relief before looking back at Barry, who was already watching her closely.
Earth-Two Juliet looked up at Earth-Two Barry. "You okay?"
He adjusted his bowtie. "I'm fine, I'm just a mess."
"You guys need to get out of Central City, all right?" Barry said, joining their little group. "Any place you think you'll be safe from Zoom."
Earth-Two Juliet nodded. "My parents and sister are in Atlantis. We can go there. You coming, 'Ris?"
Earth-Two Iris grinned a little. "I will never pass up a chance to see Ellie."
She rolled her eyes. "You two, I swear."
Barry looked at his doppelganger. "You may not have been struck by lightning over here like I was, but today, you risked your life to save somebody you didn't even know. That's a hero, Barry. Thank you guys."
"No, thank you," Earth-Two Juliet said. "If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have gotten out of there." She then focused on Juliet. "Or found the strength in me again."
"Your powers will come back to you fully," Juliet told her. "I know they will."
Earth-Two Juliet grinned at her. She then reached out, pulling Juliet into a tight hug. They hugged for a moment before pulling away.
"Barry, Juliet . . ." Earth-Two Iris began. "Is my father still alive on your Earth?"
He nodded. "Yeah, he is."
"Give him a hug for me, will you?"
Juliet smiled. "For sure." They then left, rather quickly, and Juliet watched them go for a moment before turning back to Harry and Jesse. "You guys need to go someplace safe as well. Where is that?"
"The only place we can," Harry answered.
He went into the medbay. Jesse followed after him, clearly upset with how they were going back to Earth-One. Juliet sighed, feeling anxious. They only had so much time until Zoom showed up here. And she was right, because an alarm started to blare through the facility.
"Wells, if you're coming with us, we have to go," Barry stated.
All of them went back to the breach room.
"Take Cisco and Jesse first," Juliet told Barry. "And do not give me that look."
Barry sighed, but nodded nonetheless. The breach opened, and Barry grabbed Jesse and Cisco, running them into the swirling pool of blue clouds. However, just as he left, a flash of blue lightning entered the room. Harry's feet left the ground, and Juliet raised up a hand, energy traveling through her fingers.
"Let him go," Juliet ordered as Barry sped back into the room.
"Forgetting someone, Flash?" Zoom taunted.
"Don't make me repeat myself, motherfucker."
"Close the breach," Harry insisted. "Tell Jesse I love her."
Juliet then noticed his hand come out from behind him. He was holding a syringe — it was for Zoom. Juliet slightly nodded at him.
She smirked a little. "You can tell her yourself."
Harry jabbed the syringe right into Zoom's chest, who cried out in pain and instantly dropped him. Barry grabbed both Juliet and Harry before running the fuck out of there into the breach. Just like last time, Juliet shut her eyes as they went through before the running ultimately stopped. She opened them to see herself back in the breach room on Earth-One.
"Close it!" Barry shouted to Jay, who was holding the breach implosion reactor.
Jay threw it. Once it went inside, the breach started to close. Jay walked up to it as it pulsed.
Caitlin ran up to them with a wide smile. "You did it, you made it!"
"Oh God, I'm never going back there," Juliet commented. "That shit was weird."
Joe looked at them proudly. "Jules. Barry."
However, just as Jay started to walk down from the breach, a black, gloved hand that had pointed claws and blue lightning sparking around it embedded from Jay's chest. Juliet gasped, her hand flying to her mouth in shock.
"No!" Caitlin screamed.
Zoom reached out and grabbed his body, and as the breach closed, Jay Garrick, now completely and utterly dead, was sucked with it.
