Aquarella hovered her head above the water, looking at the person flying in the air. She presumed it to be the scientist, Riri Williams who she was supposed to capture. But that became more tricky as the Princess and the General had been with her, trying to take her back to Wakanda rather than deliver her to K'uk'ulkan. It wasn't shocking that Shuri was doing things her way, as always. Rella rolled her eyes and went back below the water.
Okoye raised a brow at all the police trying to block off the bridge. "Aye, don't worry. I got a special delivery for y'all in three, two."
Shuri pursed her lips, impressed when the drone landed in front of the cops, blowing everything up. "Nice one, Riri!"
They drove down the bridge but suddenly something hooked onto Riri's suit, causing her to crash down, and fall unconscious. "Riri!" Shuri exclaimed. Aquarella chuckled to herself, holding onto the weapon that she used to shot at Riri.
Okoye's eyes widened noticing some kind of circle ball of sort roll under the car. It exploded and instead of a fire explosion like she expected, it was water. Shuri used her Kimoyo Beads to pull up some sort of shield and landed onto the road, still getting most of the impact. The shield went back into a Kimoyo bead as Shuri fell unconscious. The car flipped over her, landing upside down
"What just happened? Shuri?! Shuri!" Okoye unbuckled her seatbelt and crawled out of the car. Okoye ran over to Shuri, gently turning her over but she was unconscious, having hit her head when they landed. Luckily she wore a helmet.
Okoye immediately used Shuri's Kimoyo Beads to check her vitals. "The Princess's vitals are stable, General." Griot informed. "She will regain consciousness momentarily." Okoye sighed in relief at the news.
Okoye suddenly looked back hearing metal scrap against the concrete. The same thing attached to Riri was now dragged her body. Okoye pulled out her spear, breaking the wire so it stopped pulling Riri. Aquarella groaned in annoyance from that and dropped thw weapon, letting it sink into the water.
Okoye watched in shocked as a literal whale launched from the water and four people who appeared to be blue jumped off and landed on the bridge. Another whale did the same and this time it was a much bigger man, who was blue as well.
Namora and Attuma shared unfazed looks. It was moment before Okoye had glanced to her right, seeing a woman being pulled up to the bridge by the water itself. Aquarella used the water to her control and it set her down onto the bridge, landing gently in front of Attuma and Namora. She smiled to herself as she glanced at the unconscious Shuri. "Well that's one way to shut her up," Rella mumbled to herself in Aquan.
Okoye stabbed spear into the ground and pulled off her blazer. "Take another step closer. And I will kill you all." Okoye threatened. Aquarella tilted her head incredulously, "If you touch me, you have the Goddess of the Sea to answer to." Rella stated with a shrug and Okoye raised a brow, slightly confused.
"Drop your weapons!" The Talokanils turned and noticed two cop cars pull up. "Kill the scientist, Aquarella. I take care of the witnesses," Namora spoke in Mayan.
"Understood." Attuma replied. Okoye could tell he was the second strongest of all of them. She knew Aquarella was the strongest and most powerful so it would be tough to take her down.
"Kill that woman first." Attuma ordered to the Talokanil warriors. Aquarella tilted her head, and crossed her arms over her chest as the warriors ran forward. She knew it would be way harder to take down Wakanda's strongest warrior. Okoye took on the three Talokanils, beating them which made Aquarella look at them in disappointment.
Attuma went to stab his weapon into Riri but Aquarella grabbed his spear and stopped him. "No, this is my job, I kill the girl. Not you. You, kill the woman." Aquarella ordered Attuma, not liking how he and Namora were trying to take control of her mission. Obviously they weren't used to taking orders from her but they needed to get used to it cause Aquarella wasn't planning on stopping anytime soon.
Aquarella smiled and pulled out her knife from the strap around her leg and walked forward, going to grab Riri but Okoye stood in front of her, tossing Aquarella's weapon to the side with her own, and cut Rella across the cheek. Aquarella looked up in shock, touching her cheek and looking at her fingers that now showed the blood. She clenched her jaw and glared at Okoye, her eyes flickering purple but she held her composure.
Aquarella backed up and looked at Attuma. "Go to Namora," Aquarella ordered the three Talokanils who surprisingly weren't dead from Okoye strikes. "Kill her right now. Or I will. And it won't be pretty." Aquarella directed Attuma, "Yes princess." He nodded and she moved out of the way, crossing her arms over her chest.
As she did that, Attuma fought Okoye, exchanging blows. Attuma was impressed with Okoye's skill, but still took her down by slamming her into her own spear. He then took her spear and passed it back to her, taunting Okoye. She took the spear and fought again, but was outmatched. He then picked up her spear once again and basically telling her she was not worth his own axe. He went to kill her, but she shocked him with her tech.
Okoye glanced to Shuri, seeing her still unconscious so she knew she needed to keep fighting. Okoye stood up, and picked up her spear. He sent his into her, making her being forced back but she stabbed the spear into the ground, stopping her from falling off the bridge by the impact.
"What's taking so long? This is not a time for games." Namora scolded as she walked over. Aquarella chuckled, "Calm down, he's just antagonizing her. No harm in having a little fun," Rella shrugged, giving Attuma a teasing look and he rolled his eyes at her. "Now is not the time for fun," Mora said, Rella rolling her eyes at how strict she was being.
Namora rolled her eyes, tired of their games she threw a water bomb at Attuma who sent it towards Okoye. She used her spear, slicing it in half only it still exploded, sending her off the bridge and into the river.
The water from the bomb washed over Shuri, causing her to awake. "Okoye!" Shuri ran over to edge, not seeing Okoye in the dark water. The Talokanil people looked at her and she looked at them, more specifically at Aquarella, immediately putting Attuma and Namoa on guard for their princess. "Wait!" Shuri held out her hand.
Aquarella stepped forward but Shuri blocked her path in front of Riri. Griot activated a translator so the Talokans would understand her. But Aquarella understood either way. "I am Shuri...the Princess of Wakanda. I demand that you take me to Namor. Do not bring harm to this girl." Shuri said, looking at Namora and Attuma who she assumed were in charge.
"Why are you lookin' at them? Look at me. I'm in charge here princess." Aquarella spoke, putting Shuri's attention on her. Shuri glared at her and Rella held a teasing grin on her face. "Surprised they trusted you enough to put you in charge of something," Shuri shot back. "Ah I see your bitchy-ness hasn't changed much." Aquarella said with a light scoff.
"I see your grammer hasn't changed much either," Shuri replied. Aquarella clenched her fist, on the verge of punching the other princess in the face. "So, you're demanding something from me?" Rella tilted her head with a smirk, getting back on track.
"Not necessarily demanding, more or so a request." Shuri spoke, a bit uneasy as Aquarella walked towards her, a few inches away from her face. She raised her hand, signaling Attuma and Namora to keep back.
"What's your deal with this girl? She's just a girl, nothing special about her. It's one life for thousands of them. I think that's a pretty fair deal, don't you?" Aquarella spoke, looking Shuri in her eyes as she spoke calmly. There was something so enchanting and compelling about the way she spoke. Shuri felt as though she was under a spell almost.
Shuri blinked a few times, snapping out her daze and Aquarella held a smile, knowing exactly what she was doing. "You say there's nothing special yet you hesitate to kill her, and me. We both know you can kill with a blink of an eye," Shuri shot back. She was playing a dangerous game but she knew Aquarella wasn't gonna kill her. She wasn't stupid enough to kill another princess of one of the most powerful countries in the world.
Aquarella raised a brow, and scoffed. "You don't deserve to be killed in that way. It's too painless. You deserve all the pain the world and when I'm done with you, you will get it." Aquarella smiled and turned around, looking at Namora and Attuma who both gave her an "are you serious right now?" look.
Aquarella shrugged carelessly, "Shall we take them both alive?" Attuma asked Aquarella in Mayan as Griot translated it to Shuri.
"Yes, Attuma." Aquarella granted.
Namora took Attuma's weapon and he stepped forward, pulling off his mask. He handed it to Aquarella and she walked towards Shuri. Using her left hand to place on the back of Shuri's head and the other one to place the mask on her face. Shuri looked into her eyes, a violent flicker of purple in her eyes and she had no clue what it meant. It would've been her anger, or something else. "Breathe." She spoke, Griot translated and Shuri did as told.
Aquarella backed up and looked towards Attuma and Namora, "Call the whales, hurry," Aquarella ordered. Attuma nodded and jumped into the water to call them so they could leave. A click was heard, causing Aquarella to turn around and she noticed Shuri had clicked something on her Kimoyo Beads. "What did you do?" Aquarella snatched them off her wrist and tossed them on the concrete, causing Shuri to glare at her.
"Whatever. Mora, get the scientist. Let's go," Aquarella roughly grabbed Shuri's arm and pulled her towards the edge as Mora slung an unconscious Riri over her shoulder.
Okoye rised back to the surface and let out a gasp of air. Okoye turned and noticed a whale with people on it, go underwater. "Shuri!" Aquarella jumped off the bridge and smiled as her tail replaced her legs, and she dived into the water. Okoye's eyes widened and she trying to swim to catch up but it was no use.
Then Aquarella came back to the surface of the water and looked at Okoye, "Tell the Queen, I say hi," Aquarella spoke in Xhosa. She laughed and swam back under, catching up after the rest of them.
