midoriya looks up from his phone with a thoughtful expression before scowling as he sees one of the nice, new plotted plants go flying across the driveway and crashing onto the ground.

with a huff, he grabs his bag and marches towards the front door — ignoring the booming voices that echo from the room he passes. the greenette can hear the loud curses spewing from his friend and he prays that none of the kids hear it or else he will have his ass dragged around the place when he gets home from school.

midoriya doesn't bother to say goodbye as he swings open the front door to reveal the extremely pissed off male standing at the top of the driveway. most people would be running for the hills seeing the terrifying sight, but midoriya has known this person unfortunately since diapers and he was the one person not scared of the male's wrath.

"how many times do i have to tell you to stop blowing stuff up!" the green-haired boy hisses as he storms up to the brooding male.

"well, maybe if you answered my fucking calls and didn't make me stand out here like a fucking idiot for five minutes than you would have still had the fucking gate on the hinges dumbass!" came the equally as snappy reply from the top of the driveway.

he's going to kill him, midoriya thinks as he swiftly knocks his shoulder against the person's arm, forcing them to stumble sideways so he can pass. sure, he should be used to him blowing up everything he sees — but it still doesn't mean he should damage the building's property! all the blame would go to midoriya and then the next you he knows, he's being sent off to a random family for a break — again.

"what the fuck took you so long to come out anyway?" the deep grumble pulls the green-haired teenager out of his thoughts and to his friend who is strolling along beside him. "usually you answer all the fucking time, which is annoying. but its more fucking annoying when you don't fucking answer when i need you to fucking answer my calls!"

midoriya raises an eyebrow, unaffected by the words that's spewed out at him.

"i'd be richer than endeavour if i stored away money everytime you cursed." he dodges the question smoothly, but he knows his friend will bug him until he answers. but for now, he's content with not telling him anything. it's what he gets for ignoring him all last night anyway. "i could move to a different country and buy four mansions if i stored away money."

"if you did you'd be bringing me with you, you sack of shit."

midoriya rolls his eyes, "your love for me is heartwarming it really is. i can just feel your concern for my self being a mile away. did you know you're very good at words?"

"the only thing you'll be fucking feeling is my fist in your face if you don't shut the fuck up." now, most people would be offended but midoriya can tell there's no bite in his statement so he brushes it off casually.

"no thank you. you fucking busted my lip open last week because i called you a hairy dildo," midoriya points to his scarred lip and ignores the eye roll that is directed his way. "but admit it, you'd be bored without me. you secretly don't mind me talking to you- you love it when i talk to you. don't deny it!"

a long beat of silence.

"i'm guessing you're about two seconds away from punching me." midoriya quietly states as they pass by a bus stop.

"try two milliseconds."

"if you hit me before we get to school i'll pay for your gym membership this month?"

an evil smirk overtakes the boy beside him, his eyes glinting with a familiar brutality that midoriya is used to.

"better start running, deku."

midoriya is already halfway down the street when he calls back to the dumbstruck ash-blond.

"catch me if you can, kaachan!"
