you lay in your bed that night, aimlessly listening to music as the words bakugou had texted you ring in your ears. maybe you're being dramatic and you know not to listen to someone's words over a screen — but his words struck a chord deep inside you and you immediately felt this wave of insecurity wash over you like a high tide on a stormy night.

after he had disconnected, you had found yourself staring at your body in the full length mirror that was cracked in multiple places. you were frowning as you checked yourself out in the mirror. acne scars on the forehead, chubby cheeks, fat nose, dull eyes. the more you looked at your body the more flaws you found to become insecure about.

it's weird, you rarely feel insecure and always thought highly of yourself even though people liked to deem you being a virgin down to your body which was not the case.

or, it wasn't till now.

was it the fact that a fuckboy— someone who sticks their dick in any person they see had admitted to not wanting to sleep with you even though they sleep around a lot? you can't understand what made your brain snap and it's seriously pissing you off because the last thing you wanted was that ash-blond's words to get to you.
