"Remember Armaggon? Yeah, well, unfortunately, he's back."

"NOT BAD, KID," Daniel told Henry with a smirk as he evaded the oncoming punch from his son as the two were standing in the lair's dojo. There was a hint of pride in his brown-hazel eyes and Henry didn't know why but, it felt good to see the look of pride on his faceโ€” to know that he was proud of him. "For a shapeshifter who's just now starting to learn control, you're starting to get the hand of it."

"Yeah, well, I'm kinda already stressed with the whole find the pieces of the black hole generator before the Triceratons do plan," Henry said, backflipping out of the way to avoid Daniel going to kick him down. "The last thing I need is to be stressed out about the wolf inside of me."

Daniel paused in their training, moving to stand up straighter as he stared the teenaged boy down. "No kidding, kid. You're way too tensed. What's on your mind?"

Henry pursed his lips together as he stood up straighter before he shook his head. "I'm not tensed, I'm just determined. We only have one chance at saving Earth so, if we don't get the second piece of the black hole generator, we'll lose everything and it'd be my fault."

"You're putting too much pressure on yourself, Henry."

"Yeah, well, I'm kinda used to the pressure."

"You might think that you're used to the pressure, kid, but everyone you care about can clearly tell that you're drowning in it," Daniel said while Henry slightly looked away from him, glancing down at the ground. "You don't have to hold all that pressure inside, kidโ€” or to be afraid of letting it all out."

Henry wouldn't meet his eyes even when Daniel walked over to him, resting a hand on his shoulder.

"I don't know how." He admitted softly.

"For one, you let your family help take some of the pressure off your shoulders. You told me that Splinter chose you and Leonardo to be the leaders so, lead by example and if you need help, let them help you," Daniel said. "You're all heroes and no matter what happens next..." he gives him a soft smile. "I'm always going to be proud of you and Natalie."

At those words, Henry finally let himself look up at him, his eyes meeting the man's brown-hazel eyesโ€” the very ones that resemble his own or Natalie's.

"Daโ€” Daniel..."

Henry hadn't realized that he slowly lifted his arms and move them toward Daniel, as if he was going to hug him. But he blinked, snapping back to reality when his arms went through him, reminding him that it was just a hologram. Henry sighed as the setting around him, including Daniel, deactivated, leaving him in the empty holo-room alone. He shook his head and turned, leaving the simulator.

"You alright, Henry?"

Henry looked over to see the blue masked mutant turtle looking over at him. "Yeah, I'm okay, Leo. I just..." he stopped for a second. "You heard all of that, did you?"

Leonardo nodded. "Yeah, and I know that you've been coming here for the past few days, just like I have."

Henry gave a small sigh. "I know it's not really Daniel, but..."

"It's the closest thing you have to him right now."

Henry nodded. "Yeah."

"I get that, I feel the same way about Sensei," Leonardo admitted. "And I did hear what you sayโ€” it's not just on you, Henry. It's on me too. Like you told him, we're both the leaders, and you're not alone here. I know you have a habit of putting a lot of pressure on yourself or bearing the most responsibilityโ€” it's something we have in common, but you don't have to carry it on your own. Let me help you."

"For one, you let your family help take some of the pressure off your shoulders. You told me that Splinter chose you and Leonardo to be the leaders so, lead by example and if you need help, let them help you."

Henry felt Daniel's words replayed in his head once again. He knew that Daniel had a pointโ€” his entire life, Henry had always placed so much pressure on his shoulders, carrying it on his own even to the point when it felt like he couldn't do it on his own, but he forced himself to push through it. He had to start asking for help when he knew that he needed them.

"Okay," Henry said with a nod. "Let's save Earth, together."

And with that, the two leadersโ€” the two brothers smiled at each other.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"PLEASE TELL ME we're there yet," Derek said as a groan of annoyance left his lips. "Cause this is taking forever."

Mara felt her left eye twitched in annoyance. "I swear, if you ask that question one more time, Derekโ€”"

"So, um, where's Leo and Henry?" April asked, noticing that they were the only ones not in the bridge. "Or should I guess?"

"Henry's in the holo-room, talking to the simulator again," Donatello answered. "Leo should be there too."

"Maybe it's not healthy to be talking to a hologram of Daniel or Splinter all the time," Raphael said. "I mean, I miss sensei too, but..."

"Henry just needs Daniel now more than ever, just like Leo needs sensei," Eclipse said. "They'll be okay."

"In a way, they are talking to the real Splinter or the real Daniel. At least, your memories of them," Fugitoid responded. "The simulator is psychic, and can respondโ€”"

"It's not the same thing, Fugitoid." Raphael cut him off just as the door to the bridge opened for Leonardo and Henry to enter.

"Guys, it's fine," Henry said, his wolf hearing had picked up on their entire conversation while on the way over. "Don't worry."

"Leonardo, Henry, you've arrived just in time!" Fugitoid chirped.

"For what?" Leonardo asked.

"My friends..." Fugitoid glanced at them as they gathered around him, looking at the image on the screen. "I present to you the Cosmic Ocean of Varuna!"

To say that they were all amazed was an understatement. In front of them was like a giant liquid nebula that glowed a vast mixture of colors from pink to red to yellow and purple.

"It's so beautiful..." April said in awe.

"It's... incredible..." Zane said.

"Beats the view back home." Natalie agreed.

"A vast of interstellar liquid nebula in a region of space, unlike any other in the universe. Here, within its depths, lies the second fragment of the black hole generator." Fugitoid said as he flew the ship closer to the cosmic ocean. "Do keep in mind that I have no idea whether our computer systems will work or if we can even survive once we enter the nebula. Here we go!" He pushed a button on the main console.

"Wait a second!"

"Hold up, Fugitoid!"

"What was that last bit!?"

"Why do you keep doing this!?"

Their protests were cut off as the ship entered the ocean. The power immediately shutting off and the ship tilted forward.

"Everyone, hold on!" Fugitoid called out, activating the backup power and systems. The ship came back online and stabilized and they started floating through the ocean.

Derek pushed himself onto his feet, glaring at the robot. "Hey, uh, Fugitoid. You know, for the next time, how about you give us a BETTER WARNING!?" He snapped at the last part.

Briana looked up at the strange creatures flying past. "Whoa!"

"Varuna is the home of the Daagonโ€” ancient beings and allies of the Utrom, who have been entrusted to protect the second black hole generator fragment." Fugitoid explained.

"Yeah, well, let's hope that they did a better job than the Aeons." Kaz commented.

"Wow!" Donatello gasped. "A complete ecological system better than any ocean on any world!"

"Look out for that crazy electric seaweed!" Raphael shouted.

"No need to fret," Fugitoid responded calmly. "I'll have us through in two minutes and twenty seconds!"

Once they got past the electric seaweed, a group of amphibious aliens started to surround them. They all put on their spacesuits and headed out onto the ship's hull.

"So, I know that the Daagon are the Utrom's allies, but, uh... can we really count on them to help us?" Zane questioned.

"The Daagon are an ancient, noble, honorable amphibian race," the robot answered. "So... I hope so?"

"Great, thanks for clearing that up." Natalie said sarcastically, crossing her arms over her chest.

More of the amphibious aliens approached, riding sea creatures and stopping in front of the ship. The ringleader roared and more Daagons swam down to them; a few of them throwing Donatello to the ground or grabbing Scott from behind, only to earn an animalistic snarl from him that stopped them.

"Stop, my Daagon friends!" Fugitoid shouted, holding up an orb with a blue sigil etched into it. "This is the sigil of the Utrom!"

The Daagon released them as soon as they spotted the orb, kneeling. Then, everyone boarded the Daagon's mounts and the Daagons lead them into their city, everyone gasping and looking around in complete awe.

The creatures landed on a platform and the group headed into one of the domes. Since gravity was a thing in there, it meant that oxygen was as well so, they removed their helmets. Daagon were present on platforms above them, but their attention settled on the alien in the center of the room, her back to them.

"Who enters the realm seeking audience with Hiidrala, Supreme Ruler of the Daagon?" The alien asked, turning her head to look at them.

Leonardo knelt respectively, the others following suit. "Uh... greetings, Supreme Ruler. My name is Leonardo and these are my companions."

"What up?" Michelangelo asked, earning a smack from Eclipse.

Fugitoid held up the orb he'd been carrying. "We come bearing the sigil of the Utrom! We seek the fragment of the black hole generator that you have in your possession."

Hiidrala turned to face them, staring at them with her cold ice-blue eyes. "You may rise."

"Thank you, your majesty." April said as they got to their feet.

"The Utrom entrusted the fragment to me, giving me ultimate say over it," Hiidrala stated. "Are you truly worthy to claim a device of such devastating power? Who among you is leader?" Everyone turned their heads to look at Leonardo and Henry as the two stepped forward. "You two? You're both merely children. How are you worthy?"

"We may be young, but we've fought huge battles, saved whole planets, and on top of everything else, we saw the destruction of our world!" Leonardo responded.

"We've been given a second chance to save Earth," Henry added. "We're gonna destroy the heart of darkness."

"Ha!" Hiidrala laughed. "It cannot be destroyed! Why do you think it was hidden away?"

"If you keep it, the Triceratons will find it," Henry added. "They'll tear your kingdom apart and kill everything in sight to get it."

"If you desire the fragment, you must face Cthugga, an ancient beast that obeys only me," Hiidrala stated. "If you are indeed worthy, it will sense this and let you take it freely. If you are not, it will devour you whole."

"As long as we're swallowed whole and not chomped to pieces, I think we're cool, dudes, dudettes." Michelangelo said quietly.

"I rather not get eaten at all." Scott said quietly.

Mara shrugged. "Been there, done that."

Raphael smirked. "We can take this Cthugga."

"Let's do this!" Donatello said, high-threed his brother.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

"UNDERSTAND ME WHEN I say Cthugga is one of the six cosmic monsters you do not want to mess with!" Fugitoid warned as they flew through the cosmic ocean.

"Man, I wonder what the monster's gonna look like?" Michelangelo said, thinking of how the creature would look in his head. "Hmm. No. Probably not. Yep, that's it! Gotta be the one! Mikey, you're so good."

"What do you guys suppose it means to be truly worthy?" Leonardo asked, getting everybody's attention.

"We all have good, noble hearts," Briana said. "That has to count for something."

Suddenly, something crashed into the ship, throwing them to the floor as an alarm began to go off.

"What hit us?" Natalie asked.

"It's ramming us again!" Donatello shouted. "Brace yourselves!"

The thing crashed into the ship again, shaking it. An image appeared on the screen, showing them what had attacked.

Scott groaned. "Oh, come on! Armaggon!?"

"Yes!" Casey cheered. "He's like my favorite bad guy ever!"

Kaz facepalmed. "Of course, you have a favorite."

"I thought he blow up in the space station?" Derek questioned.

Eclipse scoffed. "Yeah, right. With our luck, our enemies never stay down."

"The hull's been breached!" Mara said.

Henry jumped into one of the stations, typing into the console. "Arming defensive systems now."

"He's too fast, bro!" Michelangelo shouted, watching Armaggon dodge all of the lasers shot at him.

"Oh, my!" Fugitoid began as water began leaking into the bridge. "We're beginning to take on liquid." He typed into the main console. "Activating the forward drain!"

The liquid drained as the holes sealed to prevent any more from entering. The door to the bridge suddenly blew up and Armaggon flew in, ramming into Henry and sending him flying into the glass before falling to the floor.

"Henry!"

Armaggon laughed, pressing his foot down on Henry. "Well, well, well." He opened the suit's helmet. "What do we have here? Looks like the whole entree!" He laughed while they drew their weapons. However, Armaggon grabbed Henry and lifted him near his head. "One more step, and I chomp this chump's head off!" He threatened. "Alright, kiddies, put your little weapons down on the ground... now!" Nobody said a word as they tossed down their weapons. "I've been spying on you a long time, and ol' Armaggon knows what you're up to."

"What are you talking about, Finhead?" Raphael questioned.

"I know you got the first piece of the black hole generator," the space shark responded, dropping Henry on the floor and putting his foot on him, pinning him down. "And now, you're gonna get me the second piece. Is that a great plan or what?"

Fugitoid sighed. "Oh, bleep."

Armaggon turned on his communicator. "Well, Dregg, not only did I get me some turtles and Terrans, I got the first piece of your black hole toy!"

"Excellent work, Armaggon," Dregg praised. "You've most certainly redeemed yourself for all your past screw-up."

"You know what? I'm quadruplin' my fee." Armaggon snapped back.

"You arrogantโ€”"

Armaggon shut the call off before Dregg could finish his sentence.

"Aww, snap," Michelangelo whispered. "It cracks me up when the bad guys bust on each other."

"Totally," Casey agreed quietly.

"Not the time, you two." Zane scolded quietly.

"Alright!" Armaggon got back to the situation. "Get this hunk of junk moving!"

As much as none of them wanted to take orders from him, they knew that they couldn't do anything when the space shark was holding Henry hostage.

Raphael growled as he went back to his station. "Stupid, bossy shark."

The ship followed the coordinates that the Daagon had given them, leading the crew and their unwanted visitor to a large asteroid-belt area deep within the nebula.

"Fascinating," Donatello remarked. "An entire planetary system within the depths of an oceanic nebula!"

"The wonders of the universe never cease to amaze." Fugitoid added.

"Will you two nerds shut up already!?" Armaggon exclaimed.

The ship came to the largest floating asteroid within the cluster. "We're here," Fugitoid said. "The cave of Cthugga."

"Armaggon, the only way we can get the piece is prove that we're worthy." Briana told him.

"And considering that you're freaking here and holding Henry hostage, we don't exactly fit in the we're worthy category." Mara added, glaring at him.

"I'm the one calling the shots here, so move!" Armaggon ordered.

The ship followed the path, entering a massive hole that led deeper into the asteroid. Even with a pair of headlights on, it was pitch black and impossible to see. It was complete silent and no one dared to say anything.

April suddenly felt her head. "I'm sensing a huge, powerful presence inside." She warned. "Getting closer... closer!"

The lights shinned on the Cthugga, revealing the creature itself. Everyone on the bridge, including Armaggon, screamed at the sight of the monster as it opened its mouth, ready to bite down on the ship.

"Now would be the time to... RETREAT!" Fugitoid yelled, as the ship turned around and made a bolt for the exit with the Cthugga right behind them.

Cthugga lashed out its tentacles at the ship as they did their best to steer the ship away from the monster.

"AT LEAST WE KNOW WE'RE NOT WORTHY!" Michelangelo screamed.

"I know who we can toss off for it to eat." Natalie said, glaring at the space shark, who was still holding Henry hostage.

"Listen here, shark soup, if you want to survive, then let my boyfriend go," Eclipse snapped. "Or so help me, I'll let the Cthugga devour you."

Armaggon certainly wasn't looking forward to dying and he released Henry, letting him get to the empty seat beside Eclipse in their station where he helped as best as he could.

"Fugitoid, we need more speed!" Leonardo exclaimed.

"I'm giving her all she's got, Captain!" Fugitoid said in a Scottish accent, causing the group to stare at him strangely.

"Really? Now?" Kaz questioned.

"Sorry, I couldn't resist." Fugitoid said.

The ship went into overdrive as it shot out of the cave, barely avoiding Cthugga's bite. Even after flying out of the asteroid, the monster still continued to chase after them. The ship flew up and down, barely avoiding each bite as the creature was able to keep up with them.

Everyone was rocked as Armaggon fell back toward the wall and Raphael landed on top of him. "I'm gonna be seasick." He moaned before puking all over Armaggon's armor, much to his disgust.

"The ship's gonna be torn apart!" Briana shouted.

Everyone screamed as Cthugga came up right behind them, but the monster ran into one of the asteroids, dazing it long enough for them to hide while it searched for them. They remained dead silent as they waited and listened.

Cthugga roared one more time before swimming off, April sensing it leave. "It's gone."

Everyone released a sigh of relief, the tension fading.

"Phew! What a rush, eh, turtles and Terrans?" Armaggon said. "Really got my heart goinโ€”!" He screamed as he was suddenly electrocuted by a Daagon that had entered the ship.

"Take him to the dungeon!"

Michelangelo laughed. "Busted!"

"Looks like it's off to aquarium jail!" Raphael laughed.

Derek snorted. "Good riddance!"

"Thanks, Captain," Donatello said. "Hey, wait. How did you know we were in trouble?"

"As soon as Armaggon hijacked the Ulixes, I secretly sent out an S.O.S knowing that the honorable Daagon would come to our aid." Fugitoid explained.

Henry punched the back of one of the consoles, frustrated. They failed the test and it was all because of him. It was all his fault.

"Henry, you can't blame yourself," Leonardo said.

"There's no way that Hiidrala will think we're worthy now!" Henry exclaimed, frustrated. "You can kiss that piece of the black hole generator goodbye!"

"Henry, Armaggon was to blame for this," Eclipse told him. "We'll just explain to her what happened and hope she'll give us another chance."

"You'll tell Hiidrala what happened here, won't you, Captain?" Briana asked the lead Daagon soldier.

"I will inform the Supreme Ruler, but I make no guarantees as to what she'll say." The Daagon captain informed, making everyone look extremely nervous.

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

WHEN THEY GOT back to the dome and standing before the Supreme Ruler, Henry felt his ears pricked at Armaggon's chuckle toward him, at his failure, and he growled, clenching his fists tightly as he fought back the urge to rip his arms off.

"I will not allow a criminal scum to desecrate my ocean paradise," Hiidrala snapped. "You will pay for your crimes, Armaggon! And you..." she turned her attention to Leonardo, Henry, and the others. "You have all failed. You could not even stop this vile thief, much less pass the test."

"What!?" Mara snapped. "That's not fair!"

"He took my brother hostage and forced our hand! What the hell were we supposed to do!?" Raphael snapped as well.

"Please, Supreme Ruler, give us another chance." Leonardo said.

Suddenly, Armaggon's laughter as it filled the room. "Insolent fool! Explain to me what it is you find so funny!" Hiidrala snapped.

"I'm laughing because..." the space shark smirked. "Reinforcements are here."

A few Daagon suddenly fell through the roof, unconscious. A familiar face stepped into the dome, throwing aside two more Daagon they'd been carrying.

"Oh, no," Kaz said. "Lord Dregg."

Derek groaned. "Not this annoying bug again."

"Hiidrala!" Dregg snapped, landing on one of the ledges with his Vreen around him. "You have something I desire. And I intend to take it. Hand over the black hole generator piece, or I'll start filleting you one by one!"

"Lord Dregg. I know who you are: lowlife, gangster, and wretched fiend!" Hiidrala retorted, looking calm and composed despite her tone.

"I am the ruler of Sectoid 1!" Dregg said. "My consumption knows no end! You will give me what I desire, or I and my children shall feast upon you all!"

"You will have to face me first, bug!" Hiidrala spat at him.

"And you'll have to get through us too!" Henry snarled at the bug as they drew their weapons. Hiidrala, however, looked pleased that they were fighting on her side.

"So be it! Vreen! Attack!" Dregg ordered.

"Take them down!"

"Daagon, to battle!"

Dregg freed Armaggon and the space shark was quick to join the fight, slamming into Casey and kicking him back. The three sides fighting as the battle started.

"Time for some payback, you puny half-shells!" Armaggon snapped.

"Shut your jaws or I'll shut them for you!" Raphael snapped.

"You heard him!" Eclipse added. "Bring it!"

As the two of them fought against Armaggon and Michelangelo joining them against the space shark, the others were fighting against Dregg's Vreens and Dregg himself.

"Insolent insect!" Hiidrala hissed as Dregg dove for her. She grabbed onto him and electrocuted him.

"You will pay for that!" Dregg grabbed Hiidrala's arms, spider hands crawling along her before latching onto her face. "Now it ends!" He aimed a rocket at her.

"NO!" Henry exclaimed as he quickly ran towards Dregg. He jumped and ran past each Vreen that came directly at him before jumping towards an airborne Vreen and used its own legs to swing himself in front of Hiidrala just as Dregg shot his missile. Henry turned his back, so that his jetpack would take the hit. The explosion was powerful enough to send both Henry and Dregg flying to the ground, away from Hiidrala.

"Henry!"

Hiidrala grabbed the spider hand and threw it off, looking furious. She released an ear-splitting shriek that made the fighting come to cease as everyone covered their earsโ€” due to being hit by the missile and sent falling to the ground, Henry didn't have time to cover his ears and hissed sharply in pain as his sensitive hearing throbbed in pain from the loud shriek. An eerie silence settled over the dome when Hiidrala fell silent, everyone waiting.

A loud rumble and growl shook the dome and a large shadow fell over the dome. The Daagon dropped their weapons and knelt in respect as Cthugga appeared overhead, roaring. It reached into the dome, grabbing Armaggon and Dregg.

"Let us go, ya freak!" Armaggon shouted, shooting at the creature before biting it.

Cthugga roared, throwing them into its mouth. It snapped its jaws down and swam away.

"Wicked!" Casey exclaimed.

"Aww, yeah, that was awesome!" Mara said. The Vreen were beginning to flee. "Whoa! What the heck?"

"The Vreen are a hive mind," Briana said. "They can't function autonomously. They need Dregg."

"Henry!" Everyone ran over to where Henry was and Eclipse helped him onto his feet. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," Henry said, groaning a bit as he rubbed his left shoulder. "I'll be fine."

Hiidrala had then approached them on the ground. "How are you, Henry?"

"I'll live," Henry said. "Are you hurt, ma'am?"

"I am unharmed... thanks to you." Hiidrala looked at the group. "You all fought to protect our kingdom. For that you have our deepest gratitudeโ€” especially mine. Henry, your actions validate the truth of your words." She roared and the Daagon brought out the fragment they'd kept. "The second fragment of the black hole generator is yours."

"Supreme Ruler... I don't understand." Leonardo said.

"The Guardian was only a test," Hiidrala stated. "I have kept the second fragment contained in the palace vaults ever since the Utrom entrusted us with its safety. And now, I entrust it to you. If you claim that you can destroy this infernal machine, then the Daagon honor you."

Henry smiled as he and the others bowed respectfully. "Thank you, your majesty."

๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ‘‘

THEY RETURNED TO their ship and got ready to head out. "All systems are fully functional." Donatello stated.

Michelangelo waved to the Daagon that were floating outside the ship. "Thank you for the repairs, mer-dudes! Keep it real up in the field, yo!"

"Two fragments down," Natalie said. "One to go!"

"Professor, can you really destroy the generator fragments?" Zane asked.

"That's the plan," the robot responded. "I just need to figure out how to do it. Heh." He started up the ship and began flying it through the cosmic ocean.

"That was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen." April said.

"Agreed," Briana said. "I'm gonna miss it."

"Well, I'm not gonna miss Bughead and Shark-Mouth," Raphael stated. "That's for sure."

"Hopefully, they stay gone for good this time." Eclipse added.

"But, of course, knowing our luck, this definitely isn't the last time we'll see Dregg and Armaggon, unfortunately."
