fallingforyou. (Frank Iero x Reader)
Listen to the above song while reading.
What time you coming out?
We started losing light
I'll never make it right
If you don't want me around,
I'm so excited for the night,
All we need's my bike and your enormous house
You said someday we might
When I'm closer to your height
'Til then we'll knock around and see
If you're all I need
The unmistakeable sound of a revving motorcycle made your ears prick up and your back straighten. Swiftly, you packed away the math homework you were busy with and scrambled off of your bed and to the window on the opposite side of your bedroom.
Peering through the glass into the darkness down below, your lips curved into a smile as your eyes adjusted to the absence of light and you could make out the diminutive frame belonging to Frank. You waved two fingers at him as a way of indicating that you were aware of his presence before hurriedly disappearing from the window to grab your phone and leather jacket.
After shrugging on the jacket and stuffing your phone into the pocket, you scribbled 'Studying. Please don't disturb. <3' on the miniature whiteboard attached to the outside of your bedroom door before shutting and locking it.
Double-checking that everything was sorted, you picked up a few crumpled notes from your dresser and stuffed them in your pocket, just in case. You then made your way over to the window and unlatched it before pulling it all the way up.
Swinging one leg over the window ledge, you bit your lip when you realised the magnitude of the distance between you and the ground.
"We don't have all night," Frank whisper-shouted impatiently, holding his hands up and outwards, "Are you gonna jump or not?"
With a shaky breath, you swung your other leg over and gripped the window frame for support.
"You better catch me."
Frank scoffed. "Have I ever let you fall?"
"No, but this is only the second time we're doing this. The first time you caught me was pure luck."
"True," he pursed his lips and cocked his head side to side. You let out a small whimper, and he sighed. "I won't let you fall, okay? Trust me. On three, alright? One... two... three."
You pushed yourself off of the ledge, landing safely in Frank's outstretched arms a couple moments later.
"See?" he gave you a prideful smile as he set you down on your feet and brushed your windswept hair out of your face. "I gotcha."
"Thank God," you breathed, closing your eyes and chuckling lightly.
He smiled that adorable smile of his and picked up a helmet to give to you. "Let's go."
~
Don't you see me?
I, I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you
Don't you need me?
I, I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you
And on this night and in this light,
I think I'm falling; I'm falling for you
Maybe you'll change your mind
I think I'm falling, I think I'm falling
"Want some?" Frank offered, raising his eyebrows as he lit a cigarette and held it out to you.
"I'm good," you declined, making him shrug and take a drag as you leaned back against the gigantic boulder the two of you were lounging in front of.
You sat in contentment as you admired the sparkling skyline available for your viewing, and the tension in your muscles seemingly disappeared as you let yourself relish in the simple pleasure of just being.
Closing your eyes, you let out a soft, appreciative murmur, catching Frank's attention. He took another drag from his cigarette, blowing the smoke out of his lungs as he turned his head to look at you.
The flickering moonlight illuminated your face in the most perfect way possible and made you look almost ethereal. Frank was mesmerised by your beauty, and he couldn't resist the urge to reach out and lightly trail his fingers down the curve of your face.
The feel of his fingers on your face made your skin heat up, and you purred approvingly. When he removed his hand from your face, you turned to him and slowly opened your eyes as you offered him a lazy grin.
"That felt nice," you informed, making him chuckle and do it again. You giggled at his repetitive movements, which made him smile.
"You look really good in my jacket, by the way," he commented, cocking one eyebrow and smirking as he took a final drag from the cigarette before putting it out.
"I'm glad you think so," you mused, arching both brows as you gripped the jacket tighter to your body, "'cause you're never getting it back."
"Eh," he said dismissively, scooting closer to you, "Looks better on you, anyway."
You readjusted yourself so that you were resting your head on his shoulder as he teasingly ran his hand up and down your thigh; you shuddered.
I'm caught on your coat again
You said, "Oh, no, it's fine."
I read between the lines
And touched your leg again, again
I'll take it one day at a time
Soon you will be mine
Oh, but I want you now, I want you now
When the smoke is in your eyes,
You look so alive
Do you fancy sitting down with me?
Maybe?
"My mom asked if you were my girlfriend," he spoke a moment later, keeping his eyes focused on his hand as he continued caressing you.
"What did you say?" you questioned, toying with the hem of his faded Beatles t-shirt.
His chest caved a bit as he scoffed somewhat, a hint of a smirk on his lips. "I said no, not yet.'
"'Not yet'?" you pulled back to look at him with an amused expression. "Bit presumptuous, don't you think?"
"Maybe," he murmured, once again touching your face.
"You haven't even kissed me yet."
"Hmm," he responded, moving to weave his fingers through your hair, "you haven't given me the signal yet."
"The signal?" you furrowed your brows in confusion.
"Yeah. You need to give me a signal before I can kiss you."
If you're all I need
According to your heart,
My place is not deliberate,
Feeling of your arms
I don't wanna be your friend,
I wanna kiss your neck
Wheezing, you shifted even closer to him and took hold of the edge of his jacket. Tilting your head to the side, you leaned forward into the crook of his neck and just barely dragged your lips along it before taking some of the soft skin between your teeth and tugging lightly. Your actions gained a throaty growl from Frank, and you smirked smugly.
Bringing your lips from his neck to his ear, you whispered.
"Is this enough of a signal for you?"
With only a groan in response, Frank placed one hand on the back of your neck and roughly pulled you towards him. As soon as your mouths connected, both of you moaned quietly. Your lips moulded together perfectly, and the kiss made your head spin.
Before things could get too heated, you pulled over from each other – just soon enough to see the sun starting to rise on the horizon.
With a sigh, you looked from Frank to the colourful orb in the sky. "Guess that's our cue."
Don't you see me?
I, I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you
Don't you need me?
I, I think I'm falling, I'm falling for you
And on this night and in this light
I think I'm falling; I'm falling for you
Maybe you'll change your mind
