'What?!' we looked at each other blankly.
'You heard me right. Hoseok please.' he pointed to the large wooden sign. I swallowed hard. I wasn't a bad thrower, but I didn't want to hurt my best friend or worse... kill him.
'Calm down Yana! Everything will be fine, just do what RT says.' he said with a small smile on his face. I nodded and took a deep breath. 4 knives... I twisted the first one with my fingers and threw it away with a loose movement. Hobi came between his knees.
'Well, it's even better!' continued RT. Another deep breath and a throw. It now came next to his right shoulder. 'Nah, it's getting closer!' I was bored watching RT. Of course, it's easy to conduct from afar! It's not his best friend standing there! Third roll. Hobi closed his eyes for a moment because he just went a little over his head.
'Sorry Hobi!' I hung up.
'No problem! Keep going!' he smiled kindly at me. I nodded.
'How about you cut a bit of her hair on the side?' he gave me an idea that he thought was very good. I looked scared at Hobi, who just nodded telling me to take it easy. I closed my eyes and slowly breathed in and out. I swung my hand back and threw it away. The metal just hissed in the air. I was afraid to see where he would arrive. Obviously I aimed where I wanted to throw it, but I was afraid it wouldn't go there. The knife finally landed next to Hobi's ear. I cut it.
'Okay, that's enough for today. You can go Yana.' said RT and left the room.
I quickly ran to Hobi.
'Is everything okay? I'm sorry I cut you! It wasn't intentional...' I looked at him worriedly.
'Calm down Yana! It's just a small scratch! It's been much worse.' he caressed the top of my head.
'Worse?'
'Yes! For example, when I fell on a motorcycle because the rear wheel popped and I pulled it off. That was the brilliant jump!' he laughed. I was stunned by his words.
'How... how what... what did you do?' I stammered back and forth. He laughed casually.
'I'm fine, don't worry! Well, let's go eat.' he put his arm around my shoulders and we started to the dining room, pulling him behind him.
We arrived at a huge space full of people. It was dark, but the lights of the dining room lights were just enough to illuminate the things I needed. There were tables placed in the middle with benches next to them. There were limits above, where I think higher-ranking people could go. Everyone was sitting in black. Leather jacket, leather boots and boots, as if this is the uniform here.
'Come and sit with us, and then I'll show you to your room! ' pulled him down next to him.
'Will I be in a room with you? ' I looked at him curiously as I picked myself a piece of steak.
'No. Since you're a newbie, you'll be in a room with the newbies who are sitting there.' he pointed behind me, they were sitting not far from us. They don't seem too nice, but I'll just make friends with them. 'Calm down, you'll get along well with them, I'm absolutely sure of that!' he stroked my back kindly.
'Thanks Hobi, you are always nice to me.' I smiled at him faintly. I slowly looked around our table, but a familiar face caught my eye. He wasn't even sitting far from me. He was literally right next to me. How did I not notice until now? 'And anyway, have you always been a member of this organization or did you come here not long ago? ' I looked at him curiously. He slowly raised his dark eyes to me.
'Are you being silly now?' he asked mockingly.
'No, why would I?' I asked back, but he just shook his head and continued drinking his drink. 'Did I just say something wrong?' I looked around at the others.
'He has already been asked to be a leader three times and he has always refused, and he is by far the best of all.' said a guy. My eyes widened and I looked at D again. Is this man the best? It doesn't seem like a big deal, to be honest. Hobi poked in the side.
'Can we go? ' he asked cheerfully.
'Yes! ' I jumped up from my seat and we headed towards the rooms where I will live the rest of my life from now on. A room full of unknowns. Isn't that promising?
