CHAPTER SEVEN โโ radio
Audrey was making the fence with Octavia when she saw a light fly through the sky. She elbowed Octavia and pointed up to it. "Bellamy!" Octavia yelled as the top less Bellamy exited his tent. Audrey rolled her eyes at Bellamy, looking back up at the sky. He could at least have some decency and out his top on.
"They're coming to help us. Now we can kick some grounder ass." A kid says as they all chuckle.
Audrey turned to Bellamy who didn't look happy and she frowned. Then she realised whatever was in that pod wasn't good news. And if shumway knew she hadn't done her job, it wouldn't look good for her. So audrey needed to know what was in that pod.
Audrey trekked through the woods, now it was morning. She had seen no sign of anyone, which was a good thing.
But when she heard movement, she pulled out her gun, aiming it at the bushes. She sighed as she lowered the gun, seeing Bellamy. "What are you doing out here?" Bellamy stepped forward.
"I wanted to see what was in the drop ship." Audrey shrugged. "I'm guessing you're out here for the same reason."
"Well, there was nothing." Bellamy shrugged.
"Why would they send an empty pod?" Audrey frowned. "You're lying. They must of sent down some sort of radio, and you've obviously destroyed it." She realised. But she knew that was good for her sake also.
"Bellamy! Audrey!" They both turned around to see Clarke running towards them. "Where is it?"
"Hey, princess. You taking a walk in the woods?" Bellamy played that he didn't know what she was talking about.
"They're getting ready to kill 300 people up there to save oxygen." Clarke scoffed as Audrey raised her brows. "And I can guarantee you it won't be council members. It'll be working people-your people."
"Bellamy. Where's the radio?" Finn now walked over to them. "Are you in on this?" Finn turned to Audrey.
"I was just taking a stroll in the woods." Audrey said awkwardly, ignoring bellamys confused look.
"I have no idea what you're taking about. Nor does Audrey." Bellamy fired back at Finn.
"Bellamy blake? And Audrey bennet? They're looking everywhere for you both." The new girl, that Audrey didn't even realise was there, said. Now Bellamy frowned, why where they looking for her?
"Shut up." Bellamy shot at raven.
"Looking for them why?" Clarke looked in between the girl and the two older ones.
"He shot chancellor jaha. And she was the one to help him." The girl pointed to the two, making Audrey's eyes widen.
"Is that what they're saying?" Audrey stepped forward as the girl nodded. "That fucking traitor." She hissed quietly, ignoring the confused glances sent her way.
"That's why you took the wristbands." Clarke turned to Bellamy. "You needed everyone to think we're dead."
"And all that 'whatever the hell we want'"? You just care about saving your own skin." Finn added harshly.
Then Bellamy scoffed as he walked away, making the rest follow him. "Hey! Shooter! Where's my radio?" The girl spat at him.
"Get out of my way." He told her.
"Where is it?" The girl continued.
"I should've killed you when I had the chance." Bellamy hissed at her.
"Really? Well, I'm right here." The girl challenged him. He then grabbed her and held her against the tree, making her pull a knife out on him. "Where is my radio?"
"Okay, stop it." Clarke looked at the two, making Bellamy remove his hand and raven put her knife away.
"Jaha deserved to die. You all know that." Bellamy continued to walk.
"Yeah, he's not my favourite person either. But he isn't dead." The girl revealed.
"What?" Bellamys face fell as he turned around.
"You're a lousy shot." The girl bit back a laugh as audrey turned to him with a tilted head. He didn't even kill the person he was meant to kill. Ironic.
"Bellamy, don't you see what this means?" Clarke asked him as she walked forward. "You're not a murderer. You always did what you had to do to protect your sister. That's who you are. And you can do it again, by protecting 300 of your people. Where's the radio?"
"It's too late." He told Clarke.
Audrey sat on the grass as people tried to find the radio in the water. She picked up a rock as she skimmed it in the water.
"What did she mean?" Bellamy spoke up as audrey kept her eyes on the water. "Why are they accusing you of helping me shoot jaha?"
"I don't know. They must of found out I sneaked on by hurting a guard. They must think I helped you, or something." She shrugged as she skimmed another rock. Bellamy hummed as he nodded his head, he didn't believe her. But the lie rolled of her tongue easily.
"Hey. I found it." A kid called out and Raven and ran to it. Audrey slowly stood up as she walked over.
"Can you fix it?" Clarke asked the two.
Raven inspected the radio as she answered. "Maybe. But it'll take half a day just to dry out the components to see what's broken."
"Like I said, it's too late." Bellamy told them as Clarke walked towards him.
"Do you have any idea what you did? Do you even care?" Clarke snapped at him.
"You asked me to help. I helped." Bellamy told her.
"300 people are gonna die today because of you." Clarke told him, agreeing with what Adella had to say.
"Hold up. We don't have to talk to The Ark. We just have to let them know we're down here, right?" Raven spoke as she turned to Finn.
"Yeah, but how do we do that with no radio?" Finn asked as Raven grinned
Audrey stared up at the rockets anxiously. If the ark knew they were alive, shumway would come down. There was no way she'd get out of his anger if she didn't kill Bellamy blake, like she was supposed to.
Bellamy noticed her anxious look and frowned. He knew there was something that Audrey wasn't saying. And it had something to do with the person she called a traitor.
