Audrey stared up at the starts, for some reason finding comfort in the closing dots in the sky. She had to admit, space looked pretty cool from Earth. She was given a tent that her and Octavia shared but she had gone to sit outside of the walls to clear her head.

She heard footsteps behind her, making her grab one of the knifes she had but she let go of it with a sigh as she realised it wasn't a grounder.

"Star gazing, short stack?" Bellamys calm voice asked as he placed himself beside her.

"Hm, trying to think about anything else other than jaspers screams." She said gently as she leaned her chin on her knees, wrapping the blanket she had found tightly around her.

"Who were the extra food for?" He asked her making her turn to him with a slight smile.

"Monty and jasper." She answered him, turning back to the sky. "Also, thanks for saving me earlier, y'know when I was about to fall into a pit of spikes. Maybe you're not as bad as I thought blake." She hummed as she smiled slightly, turning to face him, her smile mirroring his.

"Couldn't let a good shooter go to waste." Bellamy quirked, making her scoff, shoving him slightly. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." He laughed gently at her face.

"Oh yeah, well two could play that game. Remember I saved your ass back there too. I'm the reason that we had that panther for food and not you being it's food." She fired right back, tilting her head at him slightly.

"Fair, okay, short stack." He hummed as she grinned, turning back to the stars.

"Never thought that space would look so pretty from down here." She mumbled, a smile still on her face. Bellamy had to admit, this was the first time he had seen the girl so calm and relaxed. Whilst she admired the stars, he admired her. He didn't know why-he just found himself staring at her, talking in the girls looks.

He took in how dimples appeared every time she smiled slightly, her smile lines also showing. He thought she couldn't have any flaws. But he was wrong-she had flaws. Little did he know, she was send down to kill him by the man that betrayed them both. Little did he know she had killed people on the ark. How she was the one to get her parents floated.

She continued to stare up at the stars, admiring the skies beauty. She turned slightly, finding comfort in the silence the two had found themselves in. She frowned gently as she turned to see Bellamys eyes already on her. "You okay there blakey?" She asked him as he snapped out of his thoughts, cleaning his throat.

"Yeah, yeah-just thinking." He turned his head to the sky as she hummed.

"Well, I'm quite cold and tired now, goodnight." She smiled at him as she stood up, gripping onto the blanket around her. He sent her a smile as she entered the camp again, walking towards the tent her and Octavia shared.

Audrey sighed as she dropped down onto her make shift bed, turning to see Octavia already fast asleep. She rubbed her hands over her face as she recalled how Bellamy looked at her. Why? The thoughts continued to reply in her head as she found sleep, closing her eyes.

Audrey decided that she would help everyone with the fence, due to the fact she had nothing better to do. She had always been good at building stuff so she thought he she'd use her skills to help everyone on earth. She also used it as a opportunity to block out jaspers screams. She had been with everyone, trying to help but but they did have anything to help him. Audrey did offer to go on her own to find something that monty had drew for her but the rest shook her off, not wanting her to go alone.

Audrey turned to see a blonde girl struggling to tie a knot, making her sigh slightly, un crouching from her spot in the floor and walked over to the blonde. "Need some help?" Audrey asked with a kind smile on her face.

"Oh god, yes please." The girl breathed out a laugh, adjusting the make shift bandana on her head. "I've been doing this all day and my hands have stopped working." She groaned, earning a small chuckle from Audrey.

"That's a sign that you need to give yourself a break." Audrey told her as she crouched beside her, gently taking the wires out of her hands and tying a double knot, connecting the two wooden plants together. "So, how did you end up getting locked up?" Audrey asked slightly, turning her head slightly.

"Stole some medicine. I wouldn't of got caught if this kid didn't rant me out to one of the guards." The girl shook her head.

"Sometimes I hate children." Audrey muttered, making the dirty blonde girl laugh slightly. "Im Audrey by the way."

"Harper." She smiled. "So, what's your story? You look to old to be a teenager."

"Offensive." Audrey playfully scoffed, making harper shake her head, a smile still on her face. "I snuck on the ship. I've always wanted to know what earth looked like so when I heard they were sending a drop ship down, I snuck on."

Before harper could reply, they both turned when they heard someone walk towards them. "Short stack, you still got your gun?" Bellamy blake asked her as she sighed, turning to harper with a look, making the girl cover her mouth to stop the laughter.

"Yes, why do you ask Blake?" Audrey raised a brow as she looked up at him.

"You up for a hunt, ree?" He asked as she smiled, nodding her head. "Come on then, you're with me. We go in five, get your pack." He told her as she nodded.

"Well it's been a pleasure harper." Audrey patted the girls shoulder as she stood up, walking towards her and octavias tent and grabbing her already made pack.

Audrey was slightly crouched down as stared at the animal, Bellamy at her side with his axe in his hands. "Shh.... She's mine." Bellamy whispered as he stood up slightly, not making a single noice.

There was a snap behind them, making the two spin quickly, Bellamy throwing his axe as Audrey pulled out her gun, aiming it at the noice.

She was quick to lower her gun when she saw a young girl with a startled look on her face. "God, you okay?" Audrey sighed as she stepped towards the girl.

"Who the hell are you?" Bellamy asked bitterly, making Audrey glare at him slightly.

"Charlotte." The girl answered, the sounds of the other gingers chasing the pig echoing though the forest.

"I almost killed you." Bellamy told her as he pulled out his axe.

"It's a good thing you don't have a good aim blake." Audrey muttered as she held onto the girls arm gently.

"Why aren't you back at camp?" He asked her, ignoring Audrey's comment.

"Well, what with that guy who was dying, I just... I couldn't listen anymore." Charlotte shook her head, making Audrey sigh.

"There's Grounders out here. It's too dangerous for a little girl." Atom pointed into the forest.

"I'm not little." Charlotte defended her self, glaring at atom.

"Of course you're you aren't. By you coming out here all on your own proves it." Audrey smiled slightly, making the younger girl smile also.

"Okay then," Bellamy nodded his head, a small smile on his face as he looked at Charlotte. "But you can't hunt without a weapon." Bellamy handed her as small knife, Charlotte taking it out of his hands quickly. "Ever killed something before?" He asked her. Audrey couldn't help but frown. She was a young girl after all. What would she kill? Charlotte shook shook her head at his question. "Who knows? Maybe you're good at it."

"Come on, you can stick with me." Audrey nudged the girl slightly, following the two boys in the group.

They had been walking for quite a while and they had found nothing. Audrey and Charlotte stayed behind slightly as Charlotte opened up to the older woman.

Audrey frowned as she looked down, looking at all the small insects running away from something. She lifted her foot slightly, turning her around.

"Everything okay there short stack?" Bellamy asked as he noticed the two grind them stop.

"Audrey?" Charlotte held the woman's arm.

They all looked up when they saw a yellow looking frog make their way tomorrow. "We need to run." Audrey breathed out slightly. "I don't know about you but that doesn't look friendly."

And with that, the four of them started to run, Bellamy grabbing Audrey's arm and making her run in front of him with Charlotte. "Come on! There are caves this way." Bellamy yelled as they all ran through the trees, Audrey never letting go of the young girls hand.

Then a horn was blown, but Audrey had no time to question it as they ran for their lives. Bellamy was quick to push Audrey up the hill and into the cave, his hand landing on her back.

"Bellamy!" They heard a yell, realising it was atom.

Audrey's eyes widened as she turned around to face Bellamy-who was yet to walk into the cave. "We have to go back for him bell." Audrey stepped forward, only for Bellamy to grab her by the waist, holding her back.

"We go back, we die!" Bellamy told her, making her sigh, leading Bellamy deeper into the cave and away from the entrance of the cave.

Audrey stared softly at the sleeping girl on her leg, watching as her eyelids moved around, meaning she was having a dream. Audrey lifted her head as she leaned it against the walls of the cave, frowning as she catches Bellamy eyes- him already staring at her. "Staring problem blake?"

"How are you so good with kids? Seems natural for you." Bellamy voiced his thoughts, pointing to the asleep Charlotte.

"Funny story, I use to baby sit on the ark in my spare time. I use to have to baby sit Murphy and god was he a rude kid." Audrey chuckled slightly, not wanting to wake Charlotte.

"So that's how you knew him?" He nodded in realisation.

"Yep. I was fourteen and he was eight when I met him. He had one massive attitude problem-still does." She smiled. "He's like a little, annoying brother." The smile faulted slightly. "When his dad got floated, that's when all hell broke loose. His mother turned to alcohol and he had no one to grieve to except me. Kid would always sleep on my couch, never wanting to leave."

"So that was your job?" Bellamy questioned, making Audrey shake her head.

"No I had a main job." She answered him. She looked back up to see him staring-asking her to go on which made her eyes widen. "Uh, I just use to work on the shops." She lied.

Before Bellamy could reply, Charlotte started to stir around, making Audrey hold her slightly. "No, no!" The girl cried, her eyes still closed.

Bellamy sat up slightly as he sat closer to the two. "Charlotte, Charlotte wake up." Audrey said softly, holding the girls shoulders, making Charlotte jump up-looking around with worry. "You're okay, it's okay. You're safe it was just a dream."

"I'm sorry." Charlotte sighed as she sat up slightly, Audrey's comforting grip never leaving.

"Does it happen often?" Bellamy asked, his voice gentle and quiet. The girl slightly nodded her head. "What are you scared of?" The girl didn't answer as Audrey stroked her arm. "You know what? It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what you do about it." Bellamy told her, hands resting against her knee as he was sat in front of the two girls.

"But... I'm asleep." Charlotte whispered softly, leaning into Audrey.

"Fears are fears. Slay your demons when you're awake, they won't be there to get you when you sleep." Bellamy softly told her, a small smile on his face.

"Yeah, but... How?" Charlotte raised her eyebrows, confused to what Bellamy was getting at.

"You can't afford to be weak. Down here, weakness is death, fear is death. Let me see that Knife I gave you." He held his hand out as Charlotte reached into her pocket, handing Bellamy the knife. "Now, when you feel afraid, you hold tight to that Knife and you say, 'screw you. I'm not afraid.'" He told her as she nodded, him passing the knife back.

"Screw you. I'm not afraid." Charlotte said in a low voice, squeezing onto the knife in her hands.

"Come on, you can do better than that. Ain't that right ree?" Bellamy looked up to the older girl, making her nod her head, a smile on her face.

"Screw you! im not afraid!" Charlotte said with more confidence, a smile on her face as she looked at bellamys proud one.

"Slay your demons, kid. Then you'll be able to sleep." Bellamy patted her shoulder, Audrey watching in awe slightly as she watched bellamys soft side come out.

"Come on, we'll still be here for a while, to back to sleep char." Audrey rubbed the girls arm, making the little one nod, getting comfortable again. "Guess having a younger sister pays of, huh blake?" Audrey grinned slightly.

"Guess so, short stack." Bellamy also smiled, making Audrey roll her eyes.

"You go to sleep, I'll watch over you both." Audrey told him and he sighed before nodding, getting comfortable on the floor.

Audrey wearily excited the cave, sighing as the air was clear. "Come on." She turned to Bellamy and Charlotte as they nodded, following her.

"Anybody out here?" Bellamy yelled, "Jones?" He added.

"We're here!" Jones yelled back, making the three follow the voice. They walked until they found three others.

"Lost you in the stew. Where'd you go?" Bellamy asked them as they got closer.

"Made it to a cave down there." Jonas replied. "The hell was that?" He asked as he held a stick in his hand.

"I don't know." Bellamy sighed as he looked at the group, frowning. "Where's atom?" He asked and they watched as the three shrugged.

They had continued to walk back to camp, Aubrey taking the lead, Charlotte by her side, or so she thought.

When Audrey heard charlottes scream, she took off in the direction of the scream, ignoring bellamys voice telling her to wait.

She sighed as she saw Charlotte okay, pulling the girl towards her. Audrey then looked down, noticing the thing she was screaming at. Atom laid on the floor full of blisters.

"Audrey!" The brunette turned to see Bellamy jog towards them, his face dropped as he noticed the girls's face. His eyes widened as he looked down at atom. "Son of a bitch. Atom." Bellamy walked towards the man, Audrey following behind him.

Audrey crouched beside him, realising he was barely alive. "What do we do?" Audrey panicked, watching as atom looked around, his eyes glassed over.

Bellamy lowered his head slightly, listening to atoms pleases, making Audrey frown. "Kill me." Atom breathed out making Bellamy look up at Audrey with worry.

The brunette girl carefully held onto atoms hand, watching as Bellamy stood up. "We're gonna help you, okay." Audrey nodded her head as she looked back down at atom. She didn't know the kid well but he was suffering.

She didn't realise Charlotte had given Bellamy his knife back and told him not to be afraid. "Go back to camp." He told the other three, before turning to Charlotte and Audrey. "Charlotte, Audrey, you too."

"I'm staying." Audrey breathed out, eyes not leaving atom. Charlotte nodded her head as she followed the group back to camp.

Bellamy crouched back down, hosting the knife in his hands. Audrey looked up at Bellamy as his hands shook, making her rest her hand on his. "I'll do it. He was your friend." Audrey said softly as Bellamy slowly nodded his head, letting Audrey take the knife out of his hands.

She dropped her eyes down to atom, clutching the knife in her hands. "Think of something happy, okay." She moved his hair from his eyes. "Close your eyes." She softly told him as he did.

She breathed out heavily as she brought the knife toward his head. She counted to three in her head before pushing the blade into his head, stopping the suffering.
