Soft hums filled the bathroom air as she pinned her hair up, music playing in the background from Lewis's playlist. "Mhle, can you come here please?" She requested in Xhosa, she always forgot to speak English at times so it was a good thing he spoke her language. He walked in not a second later, he wasn't even dressed yet, still adorning a towel around his waist. "What'd you need, intle?" He asked, looking her up and down with a small smirk pulled at his lips.
"Can you get my legs? I don't want to fall in these heels." Kallie asked, holding out the container of coco butter scented body lotion.
"Of course, baby." Lewis took her waist and lifted her onto the counter before she could react. "Spread your legs. Push up your dress." She nods, and does as told. He took her right leg first and spread the product along her thighs, trying his hardest to ignore her exposed black panties. "Why are you not dressed yet?" She questioned as he moved down her leg, applying the lotion to her knees and lower. "I was stuck on the phone with your sister. She got into an argument with Mike about the kids cause she wants to put Mari into private school and he doesn't."
"Private school? Why?" Kallie furrowed her brows, that definitely didn't seem like something Kezie would ever do so something must've happened.
"She was at the hospital with Mari and there was this new doctor there who did neurological tests, so for fun, Mari did one, and she's bloody smart. They said she should be in a more advanced school. Mike doesn't want this because he doesn't want her to get bullied for being younger and smaller." Lewis explained, setting down her leg and grabbing the container on the counter. "I wish I was surprised but she always looked bored when she was doing her homework," Kallie hums.
"Just try to support her when you see her cause she's already calling herself a bad mum for not seeing the signs sooner," Lewis said. Kallie nods, she always knew what to do when it came to motivating her sister. She reached out her hand and lifted his ring hanging on the chain around his neck, a smile reaching her lips. It was easier to keep their rings on chains but they much preferred to wear them, which was why they were talking about getting a ring tattoo around their finger during the summer break.
She dropped her hand as he lifted her other leg and put it over his shoulder. He smiled and leaned down, pressing a kiss right over the tattoo on her inner thigh that had his race number in a nice design that blended in well. "Ya know people are calling you possessive because of the amount of tattoos I have for you," Kallie chuckles, his hands rubbing the lotion over her thigh. "Wait til' they find out about my tattoos for you," he smirked.
"Slut," she winks, jumping off the counter.
"I just do slutty things," he smiled, pressing a kiss to her cheek so he didn't mess up the lipstick she just put on. "I could never," she mumbled, shrugging her shoulder as she applied some perfume. Lewis scoffs, wrapping his arms around her from behind, "you're such a liar." She chuckles, humming as he pressed kisses on her neck. "Why do you have so much of my sister's music in your playlists?" She giggled, one of her sister's songs playing, called 'Long Way 2 Go'.
"She makes good music. Don't tell her I said that." Lewis chuckles, pressing a peck to her shoulder.
"Come on, you need to be dressed or Maeanna will kill me for being late. I'm supposed to do some video with Kezie for YouTube." Kallie ushered him out as he just frowned, wishing they had more time to spend together despite him having her all day yesterday. "If they put her in the driver's seat of a car, I will sue them. She's gonna kill you." Lewis said, sitting on the bed as she tried to find an outfit that would match hers. "Never gonna happen. I would rather go snowboarding again than let Kezie drive a car that goes 200mph."
Lewis rolled his eyes, "snowboarding wasn't that bad, you were just being dramatic."
"I was not! I almost break my ankle! I'm not even gonna mention the snowball," Kallie glared at him, but he couldn't take her serious at all, just holding a hand over his mouth to contain his laughs. "Don't laugh at me!" She threw a sweater at him, causing him to snicker. "I'm not laughing! It's very hard to take you serious." He said through his snickers as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Are you saying somethings wrong with me?"
"You're so weird. Fuck, I love you." He smiled, taking her waist in his hands and pulling her closer, a smile finding it's way on her lips. He pulled her onto his lap so she straddled it. "I really wanna kiss you right now," he huffed, glaring at the lipstick she wore. "One kiss," she whispers, leaning down and pressing a peck to his lips, a long one so they could savor it. A knock on the door pulled them away, both rolling their eyes because they knew who it was by how obnoxious the knocking was. "Fucking Kez."
"I got it." Kallie stood up and pulled her dress down as Lewis wiped his mouth to remove the layer of clear gloss that was left on his lips. She pulled the door open and Kez pushed her way in without a care in the world. "That man is so fucking frustrating. I don't want my child to get bullied, don't get me wrong, but she's a brown South African girl in America, let's be serious. Bullying happens to lots of children, and I've done my best to prevent it but if she's got the IQ of a fucking high school student at the age of nine, I have to put her into a real school."
"Yes, you do," Kallie nods in agreement, watching as her sister sits on the sofa and throws her head back in frustration. That would be such a sight for Lando.
"You'd think he'd fucking agree but no. Our daughter is a bloody genius and you're concerned about bullying? As if her mother isn't literally Keziyah? I could buy the school if I wanted to!" Kez exclaimed, causing their eyes to widen as they knew she would probably do it just to spite him. "Do not do that please," Kallie chuckles nervously, sitting on the bed next to her husband.
Kez sighs, dropping her head to look at them, grimacing when she noticed Lewis only adorning a towel. "Where's your decorum? Go put some clothes on! Whore." She scolded, grabbing the set of folded clothes next to her and throwing them at him. "That last comment was unnecessary." He frowned, getting up and walking into the bathroom to change.
Kez rolls her eyes, turning to her sister, "anyways, I'm feeling like absolute shit cause I cursed out my daughter's father in front of her. Mother of the Year Award, right?"
"Don't say that, you're a good mum. You're allowed to have your moments. And he deserves it, he's being a dumbass." Kallie said, and her sister just sighed, rubbing her head in exhaustion. "Will is gonna meet us at the track by the way, his flight got delayed so he's a bit late. Of course you wouldn't know that because you had your phone off so Maeanna was blowing my phone up. What the fuck were you guys doing all day anyway?"
Kallie went quiet, fiddling with her ring nervously and Kez immediately grimaced in disgust, "don't you ever get tired?" Lewis popped back into the room, all dressed up and matching his wife. "Tired of what?" He questioned. "Fucking," she deadpanned. He shakes his head casually, "no, have you seen my wife?" Kez snorts as her sister was blushing, "all right, I am gonna visit Lando, don't be late, we still have that video Neela wants us to do."
"Ah yes, where I'm supposed to be civil with one of my siblings who hates me, fantastic," Kallie smiled sarcastically.
"Imagine how I feel when I was forced to hangout with a shitty coworker on set." Kez laughs, standing up and brushing herself off out of habit. "Fix your hair, Lewis. You look a mess." She comments before leaving the room, walking down the hall where Lando's room was, the boy surprisingly on the same floor as the married couple. She knocked on the door and surprisingly a girl opened the door, Kez looked her up and down with an amused look, "get your stuff and go, please."
"Excuse me?" The girl scoffed, adjusting the robe around her.
"I said please, don't upset me, I've not had a good day." Kez leaned on the doorframe, her height causing her to tower over the girl. "Whatever." The girl turns around and gathers her things, walking out and harshly brushing her shoulder into Kezie's. The singer smirks, walking into the room and hearing the shower going on. She hums to herself, glancing at the scattered clothes around the room. It was probably a habit of her being a mother that caused her to start picking up all the clothes and cleaning the mess up.
The door to the bathroom opened, Lando leaned against it, a towel wrapped around his waist with droplets of water falling onto his chest and sliding down his stomach that was adorned with some light abs. "Where'd the girl go?" He questioned, looking around and seeing no sign, also noticing how clean the room was compared to how he left it.
Kez turned around, arching a brow at him, "the girl? Can't even remember her name?"
"Yes, I can. It's Ashley- no wait, that was last week, it's Kelley?" Lando furrowed his brows in thought, and Kez chuckles, bringing him to meet her eyes. "You sound like me...when I was 17. I'm impressed. I didn't take you for a playboy, or well a fuckboy, as the kids say these days." She mused, picking up the cologne he had on the desk, it was from her fragrance company, obviously. "I'm not a fuckboy, and did you seriously clean my room?"
Kez shrugs carelessly, "mother instincts, I suppose."
"That's hot," he said, moving over and opening his suitcase, all of his clothes folded inside neatly, courtesy of her. "I have a boyfriend, Lando." She chuckles, leaning against the desk, her eyes watching his movements. His wet hair was certainly bothering her, how he left it to air dry without any products despite his curls. "I don't see him anywhere," Lando shrugs, glancing up from his clothes to look at her, not even being subtle as he checked her out.
She pursed her lips, "come back to my room, I'll be waiting."
"What for?" He asked, watching her walk towards the door, her heels clicking against the floor.
"Just get there, and make sure your hair is wet." Kez says before pulling open the door and walking out. Lando's eyes widened, and he quickly begun getting dressed, and making sure he smelt and looked good.
Ten minutes later, he was knocking on the door to her room, it was obviously a suite and much larger than his and probably any of the drivers, which made sense because she was the CEO of many companies. Kez pulled open the door, no longer adoring heels as she was inside her room. "Come in," she pulls the door open wider for him.
Lando walked in and removed his shoes, it became a habit ever since he lived at Kallie's residences more often. He even had keys to all of her places in case he was ever in town. She was very welcoming to people she trusted. He was one of those people. "Come with me," she says after shutting and locking the door. Sargeant started barking excitedly and ran over to Lando, the McLaren driver grinning and leaning down to pet the dog. "Hey buddy."
"Lando!" Kez called from the bedroom, and he quickly ran over to the room, the dog following him. She sat on the table in the corner, holding some hair products. His brows furrowed in confusion as he slowly approached her. "Uh, what's all that?" She rolled her eyes like it was obvious, "for your curls, you can ruin your hair if you keep letting it air dry without anything in it." He raised a brow, giving her an incredulous look, "seriously? You're concerned about my hair?"
"Uh yes? Hair is very important in my culture. You must take care of it or you'll lose it before you hit forty. Sit down. I'm gonna teach you how to care for it." Kezie beckoned him over and he sighed, moving to sit between her legs. "This is not how I pictured my first time in between your legs," he expressed. Kez chuckles, hitting his arm for the comment. "Should've said that when I was single, maybe I would've given you a shot."
"No need to remind me. It's my biggest regret." Lando frowned, leaning back into her as she opened a container.
A hum of amusement escaped her mouth as she ran her fingers through his hair. "You've been awfully quiet. What's goin' with you love? Trouble in paradise?" He questioned, messing with the ring she gave him on his birthday last year as she applied the product to his hair. "No, not with Will at least. You know how I told you about all of those academic tests we had Kamari do?" Lando nods, "yeah, I remember, she aced all of them. Smart girl."
"Well, I told her father that I wanted to put her in school, specifically high school, a private one of her choice, wherever in the world. And he completely shut it down all because he's scared of her being bullied. So we got into an argument, I cussed him out in front of my daughter, and then he called me again this morning and we got into it over the phone." Keziyah explained, scrunching his hair in her hands.
"First of all, that doesn't at all make you a bad mum. You're the best mum I've ever seen. You literally fractured your hand from punching a man for grabbing your daughter. There's nothing wrong with wanting a good education for your daughter, she deserves to be somewhere that'll make her feel comfortable and smart. If anything he's being selfish for wanting to take that experience from her." Lando turned around to face her, and he smiled, "but being your best friend, I'm guessing the problem is..you already enrolled her into school."
Keziyah pursed her lips, shrugging her shoulder, "I may have done it before I told him, and she may be starting school next week in London."
Lando chuckles in amusement, "so the problem is, you didn't plan for him to be against it and now you have to somehow explain to him that you're daughter is moving from LA to London?" Kez nods sharply, "yes, that's all of it. Any advice?" He pursed his lips in thought, coming up empty, "I don't have a child so I can't really help you in this situation. But, if I were you and this was a situation with my baby momma, I would probably sleep with her before breaking the news so she can't be that upset because I just rocked her world."
Kez scoffs, shaking her head, "ja, I cannot do that. I think I'll just stick to my mum's advice and tell him over dinner."
"Yeah that's probably better," Lando chuckles.

"My loves!" Kez grinned, her eyes softened as Kamari climbs out of the Maserati and runs towards her. She ran into her awaiting arms, Kez picking her up and spinning her around. "I thought you didn't want to come," she says, holding onto her child for dear life. "I'm going to be in school a lot and I won't be able to come to races that much so Will said I should come. We didn't tell you so it could be a surprise." Kamari explained as Will locked the car and approached them.
"That's so sweet." Kez smiled, pressing a kiss to the girl's temple. Kamari pushed her over to Will with an eye roll, causing the woman to chuckle. She wrapped her arms around Will, his arms snaking around her waist and hugging her tightly. "Thank you for bringing her, I was getting separation anxiety." Kezie said, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "I figured, and we needed some quality time together if she's gonna be living with me."
"I seriously cannot thank you enough for that." Kez breathed out, it took a lot in her to even ask him if he could take in Mari, considering they had only gotten back together last year. "Like I said before, you don't need to thank me. You guys are my family. I'm gonna take care of them no matter what." She smiled at his words and pressed a kiss to his lips, the sound of barking being heard. "You have Sargie with you?" Kamari asked excitedly and pulled open the car door, the dog immediately jumping out. It was a good thing he was trained.
"Hi Sargie," Kamari laughs as he jumps on her with excitement. Kezie chuckles and grabbed the leash in the front seat, she handed it to her daughter, the girl attaching it to the dog's harness. The actress knocked on the window of the car and Neela climbed out, her eyes still focused on her laptop as she shut the door. "What's on the agenda for today, Neels?" She questioned, pulling her prescription sunglasses on.
"We have that video to film with your siblings in 30 minutes so you have time to walk around the paddock, get some food. I have a meeting with Maeanna and Mary. Let me know if you need security." Neela said, adjusting her purse around her shoulder. Kezie shrugged, "I'll be fine. Good luck with your sheep." Neela scoffs and walks away, clearly frustrated with all the complaints from Maeanna and Mary, so she needed to set them straight.
"Can we get some food?" Kamari asked, petting the soft fur of Sargeant.
"Of course. Take Will's hand, and stay close." Kezie said as she locked her car. "Does Uncle Seb still work here?" Mari asked, holding onto Will's hand, her other one holding the dog leash as they walked along the paddock. "Not anymore, darling," she answered, looking around for a nearby cafรฉ because they didn't serve anything Mari would like at the Maserati hospitality.
"LEWIS!" Kamari handed Will the leash and ran over to her uncle, the latter turning around at the call of his name. His eyes widened at the sight of his niece, not recalling his sister in law mentioning her daughter would be there. He could hardly process it before she ran into his arms. "How did you get here?" He furrowed his brows, a smile growing on his lips as he looked down at the shorter girl. Although he did notice she had gotten a bit taller compared to the last time he seen her.
"By a plane," she chuckles, pulling away to look around for her aunt, frowning when she seen no sign of her. "Where is Aunt Kallie? I thought you hated being away from her." Lewis chuckles, "I do, but she's in a very important meeting with her team. They're plotting like super villains." Kamari laughs as her mother and Will approach. "I would love to catch up but I have a meeting to get to, I'm already running late," Lewis says, glancing down at his watch. "That's fine, we won't keep you. Come on, Mari." Kez shrugs, handing the leash back to the girl.
"I'll see you guys later. Enjoy your day." Lewis smiles, sharing a hug with his niece and then sharing a handshake with Will.
They continued their walk down the paddock, the cameras obviously following them. The found a cafรฉ with seats outdoors for them to sit with Sargeant. "So, have you thought about any sports you wanted to do?" Kez asked as Will pulled her legs over his lap so her feet wouldn't hurt so much being in the heels. "I want to play football and basketball," Mari answered. Kez furrowed her brows, "both of them? You sure you don't want to do any sort of clubs?"
"No, I don't really like all of that. I'm good at it but I don't want to. I want to play football and basketball. They said if I tryout this year I'm guaranteed a spot next year." Kamari said. The waitress walked over, setting down their food and drinks with a smile. "I understand football, but I don't understand basketball? You never showed much interest in it." Kez said, and football made sense because she took Mari to games all the time, she's met many players before, women and men.
"That's until Gogo showed me a video of you playing basketball when you were younger. You were really good." Kamari said before biting into her vegan sandwich. "I guess I'll have to take you to some more games," Kezie mumbles, leaning back in her chair, sipping on her smoothie. "Do you think Kallie and Lew will be able to make it to my tryouts?" Mari asked, she understood they had busy schedules but she really wanted them to be there.
"I'm not sure, but I can ask them for you," Kez said and the girl nods with a small smile.
Out of the corner of her eye, she spots the McLaren driver, sporting a bright orange shirt. "Lando!" Kez called, the brit immediately looking up from his phone to see where the familiar voice came from. He grinned instantly when he saw her, ignoring how he had to be somewhere, he quickly ran over to them. Mari stood up, and his eyes widened at her, "did you get taller? I swear you were like 3 feet when I last saw you." He said in confusion.
"Dr. Allison said I hit puberty early," Mari shrugs, sharing a hug with him before sitting back down.
"I wish that happened to me." Lando jokes, but Kezie knew he probably meant that as the lad didn't hit puberty until very late. There was a point where even Kallie towered over him. "I hit puberty at 9 so it all adds up," Kez chuckles, the driver coming around the table to hug her, deciding to against kissing her cheek because her very tall and muscular boyfriend was present. "Get tired of Netflix following you around at all times?" He joked.
"I've been behind a camera all my life, I think I can handle a mini camera crew," Kez shrugs. Lando sat down at the empty spot on Mari's left, exchanging a nod with Will. "How's work coming along?" He asked, taking one of the chips Mari offered him. "It's been...stressful, but it's nothing I can't handle. Kallie's results are very promising, but I can't say the same for Kaylen. I just hope he can get it together. I'm not gonna be at the next few races so I'm heavily depending on Sang to get this shit together."
"He's done well so far, I'm sure he can manage. Good thing is, the car is extremely fast. When Kallie overlapped me it was like a bloody rocketship. I heard it was faster than a Red Bull." Lando said, recalling how fast the car was when she passed by him. He couldn't even see it, it was like a glare that just zoomed past him. It didn't help that he was driving a fucking tractor. A smug smirk found it's way to Kezie's face, "well, I promised my sister a championship worthy car, so that's what she got."
"Can you buy McLaren next?" Lando joked, causing them to all laugh, except for Mari who was watching TWD on her phone as she ate.
"Did you have a chance to meet the new F2 drivers yet?" Kez asked, taking another sip of her smoothie. Lando shook his head, "I haven't had the chance yet. Have you?" She nods, "yes, I hired them. They needed an opportunity, I was there to provide. I took a chance on them. So far, it's been worth it. I do want you to meet Niรฑo, he reminds me a lot of you."
Lando squints in suspicion, "how so?"
"Ah, you'll see. He has a twin sister, too. I think you'll like her, she's a great driver." Kez puts her feet back down and gathers her stuff, her phone vibrating as Neela was messaging her. "What's her name?" Lando asks, watching as they all stood up to leave. "Alina Sรกnchez. I'll see you later, Neela is on my ass again." Kez leaned down to hug him before ushering Mari to get off her phone. "See you later. Don't forget to ask Kallie if I can drive that car she keeps locked up in Monaco. She'll say yes if you ask."
"She doesn't even let me drive that car. There's no way you're even touching it." Kez scoffs, waving him off, chuckling when she hears him groan in annoyance.

"No way. I'm not getting in a car with Keziyah behind the wheel." Kallie objects, crossing her arms over her chest firmly. For the video, they wanted Keziyah, Kallie, and Kaylen to each do a lap in the newest Maserati for promotional purposes. Kez rolled her eyes at her sister's dramatics, "you're overreacting. I'm an amazing driver." She grabs the keys from Neela with a smile and walks over to the car, her younger siblings both stressed out about this, having zero confidence in their sister's skills.
"The only thing you're good at driving is a motorcycle," Kallie scowls. Kez smirked, she was pretty damn good at that. She was pretty good at everything, but the moment Kez crashed her Ferrari when she was 22, Kallie and Kaylen lost all faith in her as a driver. They never trusted her behind the wheel after that. But Kallie's was a little justified considering she broke her wrist in the wreck. "The Ferrari was like 10 years ago, get over it. I'm a good driver. I can drift really well, too," Kez argued.
"Please don't try to drift," Lewis inputs, watching from the sidelines even if he was warned not to. But he didn't really care. The second he heard Kez would be in a driver's seat, he had to watch it. "Relax, that's for another time." Kez chuckles, pulling open the car door, the car only had two seats so they would have Kez do two laps, one with Kallie and another with Kaylen. "Can Kaylen go first?" Kallie requests, but it came out more like a plea.
"I'll do it," Kaylen shrugs, walking over to the passenger side.
Kallie moves back over to Lewis, her husband immediately putting his arms around her. Kez starts up the car and obviously connects her phone, putting on her own music before getting ready to start her lap. "Is mum really a bad driver?" Kamari asked, crossing her arms as she watched the cameras on the big screen. "No, but I still don't trust her." Kallie answered, holding her husband's hands as they were placed on her stomach. She still wore her dress, but replaced the heels with some sneakers.
Kez did a pretty good job, which was certainly impressive to see considering she wasn't at all a professional and race tracks were more complicated with all the turns and such. She stopped the car and Kaylen immediately got out, sighing in relief, "she almost hit a corner, and was weirdly calm about it." Kez giggles, shrugging her shoulder, she may have did that on purpose to scare him after he made a comment about her being surprisingly good for someone who knows nothing about race tracks.
"Yoh, you're up next, Kwiky." Kez called. Kallie rolls her eyes at the old nickname, "stop calling me that." She grumbled, walking over to the car, Lewis fiddling with his ring nervously. "Please be careful, I prefer my wife without broken bones," he pleads. Kez chuckles, giving him a sarcastic thumbs up, "don't worry, she'll be returned to you unharmed." Lewis rolls his eyes at her sarcasm, watching as they climbed into the car, not before Kallie mumbled a prayer to herself.
"Lighten up, Kwiky." Kez said, starting the car, only to get a glare from her sister. "You can't call me that. I'm not ugly anymore," Kallie scowled. Her sister just chuckled and turned on the music, playing F.U.C.K. by Kalliope. "You never were ugly. It just sounds cute, until people ask for the definition." Kez shrugs, waiting for the lights to go on before she pressed on the gas. "Lord please return me to my husband safely," Kallie prayed in Xhosa, holding onto the seat and dashboard with fear as Kez came up on the first corner.
"Have you drove on a track before? Why do you look so unfazed?" Kallie questions, glancing at her surprisingly calm sister.
"I did a few times for 90 Days but we never ended up incorporating it into the movie. And I'm quite familiar with this track. Plus, I'm used to high speeds." Kez said, coming up on a sharper corner, she accidentally hit a bump, which she could only imagine gave Lewis a mini heart attack. "I'm well aware. Baba made you train your neck when you got your first sports car." Kallie chuckles, bringing a smile to her sister's face at the memory. If Jae-hyun couldn't stop her from driving at dangerous speeds, he at least made sure she trained for it.
Once the ride was over, Kallie climbed out almost immediately. "Never again. I still don't trust you."
"It wasn't that bad, Kwiky. And I did that in heels." Kez rolls her eyes at the dramatic words.
Kallie raised a brow, "are you saying I can't drive in heels?" Kez shrugs, crossing her arms, "you're not the most coordinated person in the world." Lewis sighed, running a hand over his face, of course they had to turn a simple car promotion into a competition between who's the better driver. "Alright then, give me your heels." Kallie kicks off her sneakers and Kez scoffs, "are you joking me?" The driver gave a blank look, "do I look like I'm joking?"
Kez groaned and pulled them off, handing them to Kallie, luckily they were a similar shoe size, even if Kez was taller than her. "This is so ridiculous," the singer mumbles as she pulls on the sneakers. "I don't care. Switch. It's my turn." Kallie moved around the car for them to switch places. She rolls her eyes and pulls open the passenger door, climbing in with a huff of exasperation. "You're so extra."
"You started it," Kallie shrugs, climbing into the driver's seat.

Fernando leaned closer to Lewis, "where's Kallie?" They were currently all sitting on a white couch for the conference and Kallie was missing. They had Lewis, Nando, Charles, Max, and Lando. "I'm not sure. I haven't seen her for a few hours," Lewis answered, just as confused as where his wife could be. She was never one for being late, unless you count that one time she was late after a last minute meeting about her signing Mercedes merch for fans. They got started without her, which some of the reporters were displeased with since most of their questions were for Kallie.
She showed up three minutes later, rushing into the room quickly, a very unpleasant Maeanna behind her. She took the empty spot next to her husband and he was just smiling in amusement, the second she walked in, he noticed the small container of cookies in her hand. "You were late because of cookies?" He questioned in disbelief. "Soo Yun made them special for me. I had to take them before the mechanics ate them all," Kallie shrugs, moving the mic so she didn't accidentally sit on it.
"You're so ridiculous. I love it." Lewis chuckles, but then he noticed the distance between them and frowned. "Why are you so far?" He questioned as she was opening the container. "I'm giving you space, so people don't think I'm bothering you," Kallie whispered. "I don't like that, or care what people think. I need you closer." Lewis snaked his hand around her waist and pulled her body closer to his so there was no gap between them, that was reserved for the track only.
"Cookie?" She smiled as she offered him one, and even if he wasn't hungry, there was no way he would say no, not with the way her eyes shined at him. He took her wrist gently and took a bite of the cookie. "Good?" She asks before taking a bite of the half eaten cookie. Lewis nods with a small smile and sets his hand on her upper thigh, tuning back into the conference. Lando leans over Fernando to speak to Kallie, "can I have one?"
She nods, opening the container back up and passing it over to him, there was small variety of them, obviously all vegan as well, since Kallie had went full vegan last year. Lando took a cookie and offered one to Nando, the Aston driver quickly taking one. Then Max asked for one and that's how the cookies got passed around, even the man asking questions got one. When she got the container back, there was one left. She scoffed under her breath, "they're worse than the mechanics."
Lewis chuckles softly, patting her thigh, "you'll be okay. I'll make you some myself if you really want more."
"How sweet, but you're terrible at baking," she pats his knee with an innocent smile.
"I would argue, but you're not wrong," he sighs.
They were pulled from their own little world when Kallie was being asked a question. "Kallie, your return to Formula 1 striked a lot of controversy. It was rumored that you'd return to Red Bull for years, until you finally confirmed your sudden move to Maserati. Can you confirm if you were ever in talks with Red Bull, and if you were, why you turned them down?" The man asked.
Kallie smiles and grabs the microphone, making sure it was on before speaking. "I uh, I wouldn't say we were in talks. A seat was certainly offered to me, but I had no interest in taking it. If I had taken it, I would feel as though I'm taking a step back in my career. I wanted to move forward. I wanted to experience what it was like with a different team. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone. You could say I still have unfinished business with them, yes, that may be true, but in my eyes, the only unfinished business I have is winning a championship. That's all I want."
As she went to set the microphone back down, she was being asked another question. This kind of surprised her considering she hardly got any questions before. "Now that you have returned to Formula 1, will you finally tell us why you left, or at least confirm if it was really about you father?" Kallie knew these questions would be coming, and she prepared for them with Neela. Lewis gave her thigh a small squeeze, bringing her some comfort.
"Why did I leave? Such a popular question these days," she chuckles. "2019 was probably the worst year of my life, I'd say. I went through so much during that time, not just with my father's passing, but with my personal life, and my health. It all became too much to juggle, and racing was the last thing I was worried about. There's multiple reasons for my exit, but my health had a lot to do with it. I was diagnosed with cancer, a few days after my father, and it would've been nearly impossible for me to continue in my condition."
She could see the shocked look on the faces of the reporters and even the drivers, minus Lewis, Nando, and Lando had known because he found out after finding out about Kezie's condition. "So, for all of those who said I couldn't handle the pressure, or I was too weak, that was not at all the case. But yeah, that was the main reason for my sudden departure. Good news is, I have been cancer free for about a year, coming up on two, and I've had the best support system. I'm truly blessed."
Lewis smiled softly, taking her hand in his as she set the microphone down with her other hand. Again, there was another question for her. "So sorry to hear about the cancer, but I'm very glad you're okay now," he says. "Thank you," she smiles warmly and he continues. "How did you come to the decision of taking on the Hamilton name?" He asked.
"Well, I had already added it to my surname after we got married, so that part was quite easy. Myself and Kaylen were discussing who would change their name and who would keep it, and that was the difficult part, because I love representing my family's name, but one of us had to change it and I didn't want it to be my brother. The original idea was to use one of my middle names, which is Kai, or Ae-Cha, but neither of them really sounded right. So, Lewis proposed that I should just use his since it's legally mine, and that was a bit shocking to me, cause his name is...well it's iconic." She chuckles softly, Lewis just smiling brightly as she spoke.
"I had to think it over, cause obviously wearing a name such as his, is a lot of pressure, and we wouldn't want that. But, yeah, his name is very good motivation, and I hope to continue honoring that." She set the mic back down and smiled, Lewis pressing a kiss to her cheek, not caring about all the cameras and eyes. The next question went to him. "Lewis, do you think competing against Kallie, now as your wife, will effect your performance this year?"
"Yes. In fact, I'm more motivated than ever. It's been one of the best starts of the season I've had in a while, and her presence on that track is certainly motivating. She's one of the toughest drivers I've ever competed against and I was lacking some of that when she left. It would feel wrong if I wasn't her biggest competition this year, so yes, competing against her will effect my performance because it will better it. Us being married doesn't change the way we race, or our competitiveness and I'm sure she'd say the same."
Kallie nods, raising her mic to add, "I would, I completely agree."
They moved onto Max, and the couple just zoned out, Lewis messing with the hem of her dress. She wore a cropped black Maserati t-shirt over it and was back in her heels, something she never did much before. Back then, she only had like two hairstyles and stuck with designer jeans and suits, never wearing a dress until the end of the season awards. So it was certainly different to see how much she changed and presented herself compared to a few years ago.
"Is this almost over?" She whispered. Lewis furrowed his brows slightly, "...darling, it hasn't even been that long."
"Oh. I forgot my cucumbers in the fridge." She huffed, causing him to chuckle in amusement, her words reminding him of old times when she brought a bag or container of cucumbers to snack on during conferences. "I figured you would. Here, it's not cucumbers, but it's cucumber water." Lewis picked up his bottle on the floor near his feet and handed it to her. "Daebak." She expressed excitedly, taking the bottle.
"That's Korean slang right? I'm still learning." Lewis questions, leaning closer to her as if cameras weren't recording them.
"Ewe," she mumbled in reply, taking a sip of the ice cold cucumber water. "Ah, got it." He smiled, rubbing her leg as he tuned back into the conference, Lando answering a question. She rested her head on his shoulder, already bored of this, like she normally was. It was only interesting when she got good questions or if she and a driver were joking around. "Mari has football and basketball tryouts on the 15th, and she wants us there, so make sure you don't plan anything during that week," Lewis whispered.
"Two sports?" Kallie questions in surprise.
"Yeah, Will said she's not interested in other clubs, just sports, so she wants to do two, and I think she wants to stay after school as much as she can because if Will is off filming, she's gonna stay with his sister." Lewis explained. Kallie furrowed her brows, "why can't she just stay in dorms?" Lewis gave her a knowing look, "considering your sister's experience, it's a bit obvious why she doesn't want her in dorms. But for Mari's sake, I think you could convince her to let Mari stay in dorms. It's better than going back and forth with different people."
"I'm not sure if I could, but I think you could. She listens to you, and if she starts an argument, you don't get angry or emotional like I do." Kallie said. He pursed his lips, considering that, because it would risk him getting cursed out in four different languages. Xhosa, Korean, Arabic, and Spanish. That was risky, and kind of stupid. But she was right, Kez did listen to him, probably because he had a very soothing voice and calming presence. It was impossible to be mad at him. Kallie tried...it didn't last very long.
"Okay, but if she curses me out in Spanish, I'm running. It's a dangerous game when she pulls that language out." Lewis said, causing her to laugh softly and nod in agreement. "Fairs." They tuned back into the conference when Lewis was asked a question, the question being, "Lewis, since it was confirmed you were in talks with Maserati, is there a reason you may have turned them down? Perhaps you didn't want to outshine your wife?"
Lewis blinked, a bit annoyed that he referred to Kallie as just his wife as if she wasn't one of the most respected F1 drivers in history. "First of all, she has a name, her name is Kallie, and she's a driver just like me, in case you forgot. Second of all, it had nothing to do with outshining her, not that that's even possible. I walked away from their offer simply because we did not wish to work together as teammates, we have our boundaries and that's how we protect our relationship."
"Healthy relationship goals," Lando mumbled, and the mic picked it up, causing the driver's to chuckle.
"I'll give you some tips, if you ever do get in a relationship that is," Kallie said, causing everyone to laugh at her little dig at his single life.
Lando gave her a sassy and judging look, "I rather not take advice from someone who married their rival, thank you."
"He's not wrong," Lewis shrugs, making Kallie shoot him an annoyed look.
"I'll shut up now."
"Smart of you."

"Hi, I'm Alina. It's so nice to meet you, and I'm shaking your hand for too long, sorry." The brunette girl quickly let go of Kallie's hand, clearly excited and nervous to meet her idol. "It's okay, you're fine, I don't mind. It's very nice to finally meet you, my sister speaks so highly and you and your brother. I'm so sorry I couldn't meet you in Bahrain, my schedule is so hectic." She expressed, her arms crossed over her chest, causing her muscles to look more defined.
"No, no, that's okay, I understand. I'm just so thrilled to meet you." Alina smiled brightly, and then noticed Kez walking over with Niรฑo. "Uh, fair warning, when you meet my brother, he may come off as a little goofy, and very flirty, that's just because he's got a huge crush on you." She said. Kallie chuckles in amusement and they're approached by Alina's twin brother Niรฑo. He was maybe a bit taller than Lando, he had caramel skin and luscious brown hair, looking very much like a boy version of Alina.
"Kallie, this is Niรฑo, he drives for the F2 team," Kez introduced. Niรฑo smirked, extending his hand to the woman, "Hi, it's such a honor to be within your presence. You look stunning, as always." Alina rolled her eyes and nudged him harshly in the ribs, making him wince and glare at her. Kallie chuckles softly, "well, thank you, that's very sweet of you. It's very nice to meet you. Both of you have done great work as far as I've seen. I hope one of you gets closer and closer to that championship. Maybe in a few years you'll be on the track with me."
"Being your teammate sounds far better, no?" Niรฑo chuckles, his Spanish accent getting a bit deeper towards the end.
Kallie chuckles, shaking her head, "I don't know about that, I'm quite the competitive one." Niรฑo laughs lightly at her words, admiring the how angelic she sounded. "As long as I get to be around you, it's always a win in my book." Kez chuckles, nudging her sister, "see? He's just like Lando. Handsome, funny, and a flirt."
"Not sure that's a flex. Lando is a bit...Lando." Kallie jokes, and as if the universe hated her, Lando came up from behind her. "What's that supposed to mean?" He asked, looking at the woman in disbelief. "That you're Lando," Kez deadpanned as if the answer was very obvious and it kinda was. "I'm going to ignore that because I don't think I wanna know if that's an insult or not. So anyways, hey, I'm Lando, it's nice to meet you guys." He smiled, extending a hand to Alina first.
"Hi, I'm Alina, and this is my twin Niรฑo." She smiled brightly, shaking his hand, though he held on a bit longer, only letting go when Kez cleared her throat. "Nice to meet you, mate," Niรฑo greets, not noticing how Lando had been staring at his sister. "Which one of you is the better driver?" Lando asks jokingly, but Niรฑo admittedly points to his sister. "So far it's her, but I'll pass up her results soon. I took about two years off so she's got more experience."
"Why two years? If you don't mind me asking?" Kallie questions.
"Of course not. I had tore my acl in a game of football so it took a lot of physical therapy to get me back in a car. But, it's all good now, dare I say it's better than it was before." Niรฑo explained, chuckling lightly and patting his left knee. "Well now I feel very dramatic about my broken wrist," Kallie chuckles, looking at it as she raised it, Lewis's name right next to the cross that covered the surgery scar.
"Every drivers gotta be good with their hands so I'd probably freak out if I broke it too," Alina chuckles. Lando smirked, holding his up, "I agree, my hands are magical." Kallie laughed sarcastically, "yeah, don't flatter yourself, Lan, you're still P19." He gasped dramatically, feigning offense as the two F2 drivers resisted the urge to laugh. "That was so uncalled for. Kez, you gonna let her disrespect me like that?" He questioned in disbelief.
"Don't look at me, she's making me money, she earned the right to talk her shit." Kez shrugs, making Kallie smile in victory.
"Does our friendship mean nothing to you?" He asked, feigning hurt and betrayal, holding a hand over his heart for extra dramatics. "I'm leaving before you start listing every positive thing I've ever said about you," Kez deadpanned, turning on her heel to find Lewis, wanting him to meet the two drivers. "Just ignore her, she's a bit delusional. She still thinks Lewis and Nico are best friends in secret," Lando said.
"Whoa, let us girl's live in our brocedes delusions." Alina quickly says, taking Kezie's side on the subject. She was obsessed with brocedes and may have cried about it when Nico had interviewed Lewis in Bahrain and watched with a proud smile as Lewis and Kallie celebrated atop the podium. It was a very emotional night for Brocedes and Nallie [Nico + Kallie] fans.
"I keep telling her there's no way they'll ever rekindle and she never believes me," Niรฑo says, taking Lando's side as Kallie just awkwardly rocked on her heels, thinking about how she asked Lewis about Nico after the race and he brushed it off again. "There's always a chance," Alina scoffed, hitting her brother's arm. "As Lando said, delusional," Niรฑo mocked, flicking his sister in the head.
"You wanna talk delusional? Tell Kallie about all those posters you had of her pinned up in your room," Alina shot back, causing Lando's eyes to widen for a split second. "I was seventeen, I moved on," he argued. "Did you?" Kallie questions, raising a brow, not really buying it considering he was just flirting with her moments ago. "He didn't. He cried for a whole month when you left. I swear, he wouldn't even leave his room. And he gave away all his Red Bull stuff when the pay difference stuff came out." Alina said, completely exposing her twin, this causing Lando to laugh.
"Oh come on, you can't blame me for that. Was I a bit dramatic? Maybe. But, she was literally on the verge of winning her first championship and finally beating Hamilton. And what kind of team underpays their top driver? Fucking jokes they are." Niรฑo ranted, and now Kallie was really starting to see the resemblances with Lando. Because Lando could rant like it was nobody's business.
"I could not agree more. Kallie was carrying that team," Lando says in agreement, causing Niรฑo to fist bump him, glad they agreed on that.
Kallie raised a brow, "did you also cry when I announced my return?"
Niรฑo scratched his neck with a nervous chuckle, "ah...maybe, and maybe I cried harder when I found out you were married." Kallie just giggled in amusement as Lando added a comment about his own reaction to the marriage news.
Meanwhile, Kez and Lewis were walking towards the Maserati hospitality, where his wife, Lando, and the two F2 drivers were residing outside. And then he paused, hearing his wife's giggle. His brows furrowed in confusion as he stopped in his steps, Kez turning to look at him, wondering why he stopped. "The fuck was that? Who's making my wife giggle?"
"Did you seriously just recognize her laugh?" Kez deadpanned, crossing her arms over her chest.
"It wasn't a laugh, it was a giggle, there's a clear difference. Who the fuck is making her giggle?" Lewis began to walk faster, Kez huffing in annoyance as she tried to keep up but the heels slowed her down just a bit. "Slow down. You're jumping to conclusions. Jealousy isn't a healthy emotion." Kez said but he just ignored her, his eyes landing on Kallie as he turned the corner, she was laughing at something Niรฑo said, but he couldn't see the F2 driver's face, just his back.
He walked over, pushing past the F2 driver with a small nudge and sliding an arm around his wife, pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Hello, wife. How's it going?" He smiled, rubbing her waist as Kez walked over, standing herself next to Lando with an eye roll at his possessiveness.
"Hey, mhle. Have you met the twins yet? They drive for our F2 team. This is Alina, and her brother Niรฑo." Kallie introduced, the twins smiling kindly. Alina stuck out her hand first, trying not to fangirl over the Sir Lewis Hamilton. "Hi, it's so nice to meet you. Really big fan of you." Lewis took her hand and shook it with a smile, having no problems with her, as she wasn't the one flirting with his wife. "Thank you, that means a lot. It's really nice to meet you, too."
Niรฑo extended a hand next, "Hey, big fan of your work. Your rivalry with Kallie is one of my favorites to date." Lewis smiled tightly, shaking his hand a second before letting go and returning it to his wife's waist. "Thank you, it's one of my favorites as well. I really hate to cut this short but I'm gonna have to steal my wife," Lewis stated. Kallie furrowed her brows but nodded anyways, bowing her head to the twins, "so good to meet you again. Give my manager a call so we can arrange a lunch or something. I'd love to know more about you."
Lewis took her hand and led them over to the Maserati trailer. She opened the door and pushed it open, letting him inside. It was her own private one, as she requested for in her contract. She didn't have one in Red Bull as they only gave one to Max so she made sure it was a requirement before she signed with Maserati. Lewis turned around, crossing his arms over his chest, his muscles growing larger from the form. "What was he saying to you? That Niรฑo guy?" He asked.
Kallie furrowed her brows in confusion as she locked the door and turned to face him. "What do you mean? We were just talking, like I talk with the other F2 drivers when we meet."
"Yeah, but he said something that made you giggle," Lewis pointed out. She raised a brow, "giggle? How do you if it was a giggle?" She deadpanned in disbelief. He stepped towards her, "because I know every sound you make, including the dirty ones. So, I know the difference between you giggling and laughing. What'd he say to you? I'm just curious, I won't be mad." Kallie huffed, now starting to figure out what this was really about. His possessive nature over her. He wasn't jealous, cause that'd mean he felt threatened, and he didn't at all.
"We were just joking. His sister said he cried when I left so I asked him if he cried when I announced my return and he said yes, but he also said he may have cried when I announced I was married. That's all, it was just a joke. I found it funny." Kallie answered, resting her hands over his chest, his breathing mirroring hers. "So, what you're saying is, he's got the hots for you?" Lewis questions, trailing his hands down her back.
"No, but maybe he has a crush. He wouldn't be the first one." Kallie shrugged innocently, a small gasp escaping her lips when he pulled her body against his, not leaving any space between them. Just how he liked it.
He smirked in amusement, "is that supposed to be funny? If I recall correctly, you had the hots for me before I even met you." Kallie rolled her eyes, a small giggle escaping her mouth that he smiled at. "Oh shush, you loved it," she whispered, her breath fanning over his lips as they stared into each other's brown eyes, hers just a bit lighter than his. "I guess I loved it so much I married you."
"I locked the door. Wanna show me just how much you loved it?" She whispered seductively, sliding her hand under his shirt, his abs tensing at her cold touch before relaxing.
"And I thought I was the dirty one, turns out it was you this whole time," he chuckles softly as he unbuttoned the shirt she wore over her short dress.
"What can I say? I'm adventurous."
