Clementine got a text from Sam asking her to meet at Miyagi-Do. She parked her car and noticed Sam's mom's car nearby, which made her furrow her eyebrows in confusion. As Sam approached, Clementine's curiosity grew.
"Hey, sorry, I wasted your time. I wanted you to come by because I was starting Miyagi-Do up again but my mom caught me," Sam explained apologetically. Clementine's eyebrows shot up in surprise.
"Well... I'm not planning on doing karate anymore, so thanks a lot for wasting my time, Sam," she retorted with a sneer, starting to walk away. However, Sam caught her arm and turned her around.
"Clem, why don't you want to do this? We need to fight back," she implored, her eyes filled with determination. But before she could continue, Clementine yanked her arm free, revealing fresh scars, causing Sam's expression to falter.
"Leave me alone," Clementine snapped, her tone tinged with frustration and pain, as she marched back to her car, leaving Sam standing there, unable to find the right words to respond.
Sam let out a shaky breath, her heart still racing from her encounter with Clementine. She heard her mom calling for her, and with a worried look, Sam marched over to Amanda. Her mother noticed the distress etched across her face.
"Sam, what's wrong?" Amanda questioned, her concern evident in her tone. Sam gulped nervously, trying to find the right words.
"I think Clementine's hurting herself. I'm really worried," she revealed, her voice trembling with concern. Amanda's eyes widened in shock at the unexpected revelation, her own worry mirroring her daughter's.
Before Clementine went to Miguel's, she stopped by the West Valley Juvenile Detention Center. Clementine walked into the building and approached the front desk.
"Hi, I'm Clementine Katz... I'm here to speak to Robby Keene," Clementine informed the officer who typed on the computer before standing up and escorting Clementine to a room.
"Phone and purse in the bin, miss Katz," the officer instructed, and Clementine dropped her phone and purse into the bin and followed the woman officer to the visiting area.
"Wait here, he'll be out here any minute," the officer told her, and Clementine nodded before sitting down at one of the tables.
As she waited, Clementine looked around and watched a family speaking to their kid, accompanied by a little girl with them. The little girl made eye contact with her and gave a grin, clutching her teddy bear. Clementine cracked a grin, but her smile dropped when Robby entered the room and sat down across from her.
"Clem, what are you doing? I don't want you to see me in here," he retorted, but Clementine ignored his words, noticing how his face was bruised up. She leaned over to touch it.
"No touching!" An officer warned, and Clementine pulled her hand back.
"What did you do?" Clementine shot back at him.
Robby's eyes rolled in exasperation as he faced Clementine. "It's nothing. Just got into a small fight, no biggie... now Clem, please go. We are over and I... I just don't want you to see me like this," he pleaded, his tone a mix of frustration and vulnerability. Clementine, however, remained persistent, her concern for him overriding his protests.
"Robby, please, I don't want this to be ov—" Before she could finish her sentence, Robby's frustration boiled over. He slammed his fists on the table, the sudden noise making Clementine jump. "Clementine, please just go!" he gritted out, his voice strained with emotion.
Clementine felt a surge of hurt and confusion. Tears welled up in her eyes as she struggled to hold them back. She stood up abruptly, her hands trembling slightly as she looked at Robby, her expression a mix of sadness and determination.
Despite her heartache, she knew she had to respect his wishes. With a heavy heart, she turned and rushed out of the room, the sound of her footsteps echoing in the empty hallway.
As she retrieved her belongings from the bin, her hands shook with emotion. She took a moment to compose herself before hastily grabbing her phone and purse. With one last glance back at the room where Robby sat, she dashed out of the building, her heart heavy with unresolved feelings and unanswered questions.
When Clementine arrived at Miguel's, her eyes widened in shock as she witnessed him struggling to get up from his wheelchair. Meanwhile, Johnny appeared on the second floor of the apartment building, holding a magazine dangling on a string. He observed the scene below with a mixture of frustration and determination.
Without hesitation, she rushed over to him, her heart pounding in her chest. "Miguel, are you okay?!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with concern as she wrapped her arm around him, helping him back into his wheelchair.
"Gimme a minute and we'll go again," he muttered to Miguel, his voice tinged with resolve. Clementine shot him a questioning look, her arms crossed over her chest. "Do what exactly?" she queried, her tone skeptical yet intrigued.
"We're gonna get Diaz out of this wheelchair and walking again," Johnny declared, his tone firm as he snapped his fingers at Clementine.
Despite her initial skepticism, Clementine nodded in agreement, her expression showing a glimmer of hope. However, Miguel's frustration was evident as he spoke up, his voice tinged with bitterness. "Don't you guys get it? You could dangle a million dollars and I still wouldn't be able to stand up," he lamented before wheeling himself away, leaving Clementine and Johnny exchanging a shared look of sadness and determination.
Clementine's phone chimed, drawing her attention away from the tense atmosphere in Miguel's apartment. She retrieved her phone from her pocket and saw a new message from Sam.
Sam: meet me at chris' work
Clementine arrived at Golf 'n' Stuff and immediately noticed Sam, Demetri, Chris, and a few other Miyagi-Dos gathered together. "What's going on?" she questioned, her curiosity piqued as she approached the group.
All heads turned towards Clementine as Sam stepped forward to explain. "Cobra Kai is bothering Chris at work, so we're gonna fight back," Sam revealed, her tone determined. Clementine's eyes widened in surprise and concern. "What? Are you insane?" she exclaimed, taking a step closer to Sam.
Sam rolled her eyes at Clementine's reaction. "Why do you have a problem? You beat the crap out of Hawk not too long ago," she shot back, her tone defensive. Clementine remained silent, her thoughts swirling with unease.
Sam turned to Demetri and Chris, continuing their discussion. "So, where are they?" she asked Chris, her voice filled with determination. Chris explained that Cobra Kai members had snuck into the old laser tag place next door.
"How many?" Sam inquired, her smirk indicating her confidence. "Four of 'em," Chris responded. Sam's smirk widened. "Six of us. I like our odds," she boasted, her confidence unwavering.
Clementine clenched her jaw, feeling a sense of apprehension wash over her. She knew this was a bad idea. She didn't want to fight them anymore. With everything that had been weighing on her mental health, she didn't know how much more she could take.
Demetri's expression reflected his uncertainty as he glanced at Sam. "Are you sure we should be doing this?" he questioned, seeking reassurance.
Sam remained resolute, her determination shining through. "We're not on school property. This is our chance to fight back," she asserted, already making her way towards the laser tag place.
Clementine hesitated for a moment before following Sam, her steps cautious and deliberate. Chris joined her side, offering his support. "Just so you know... Alison's with them, if you wanna pull her out of there while we're fighting," Chris informed Clementine, his tone serious.
Clementine nodded, acknowledging his words. "Okay, thanks, Chris," she replied gratefully, her mind racing with the implications of their upcoming confrontation.
As they arrived at the laser tag place, Clementine took charge, swiftly turning off all the lights before joining Sam and Demetri in the room. Hawk's glare met their arrival. "What do you want?" he snapped, his tone laced with hostility. Clementine's gaze shifted to Alison, who cowered behind Hawk's imposing figure.
"Payback," Sam gritted out, her determination evident. The tension in the room was palpable as the confrontation escalated.
In the chaos of the fight, Clementine seized the opportunity to approach Alison, grabbing her arm and pulling her towards the exit. Alison halted abruptly, wrenching her arm away as her fiery red hair caught the sunlight.
"Clementine, what the hell is going on? Was this your idea just so you can talk to me?" Alison's voice was laced with frustration as she confronted Clementine.
Shocked by Alison's accusation, Clementine shook her head fervently. "No. This was all Sam's idea. I just didn't want you or I to be caught in the middle. I don't wanna be fighting anymore, I miss my best friend," Clementine explained earnestly.
Alison stared at her, processing Clementine's words. Before she could respond, Tory and a group of Cobra Kais approached. "Everything okay here?" Tory inquired, her eyes scanning Alison for reassurance.
Clementine shot Tory a sarcastic grin. "All good here, Tor. Just trying to have a chit chat while everyone is fighting over stupid shit," she quipped before Tory received a nod of affirmation from Alison and led her friends inside.
Clementine turned back to Alison, sighing in frustration. "Ali, just come on, this all seems weird. Hawk is like the king of Cobra Kai and you're like... the queen who just sits on the sidelines," she remarked, unaware of the weight of her words.
Alison's reaction was swift and fierce; she clenched her fist and shoved Clementine against the wall, the force of the action taking Clementine by surprise.
Before Alison could do anything else, Clementine and Alison heard chants coming from inside the laser tag room. They exchanged a concerned glance before hurrying inside.
Demetri was on the ground, pinned by Hawk, who held Demetri's arm in a precarious position. The crowd surrounding them chanted, urging Hawk to break Demetri's arm.
Clementine scanned the room frantically, searching for Sam. Spotting her in a corner, panicking, Clementine rushed over and enveloped her in a comforting embrace. "Everything's okay, Sam. I'm here," she reassured her, holding her close.
Meanwhile, Alison's eyes widened in horror as she approached Hawk from behind. "Eli, don't do it!" she shouted, but her plea fell on deaf ears.
With a grim determination, Hawk ignored Alison's warning and snapped Demetri's arm. A gut-wrenching scream escaped Demetri's lips, echoing in the room.
Alison gasped, her hands flying to cover her mouth as she fell to her knees, her heart breaking at the sight before her. Crawling over to Demetri, she reached out to him, her expression filled with anguish and regret.
Clementine's eyes widened in shock as she looked down at Sam, who was crying into her chest. Despite wanting to comfort Alison, Clementine knew Sam needed her support right now, so she held onto her tightly, offering what comfort she could.
Meanwhile, Alison carefully moved Demetri and cradled his head in her lap, her own tears streaming down her face. "I'm so sorry, Demetri. I'm so so sorry. This is all my fault," she sobbed, her voice choked with remorse.
Glancing over at Chris, who stood frozen in shock, Alison's desperation grew. "What the hell are you doing!? Don't stand there! Call 9-1-1!" she shouted at him between sobs, her anguish palpable.
Clementine arrived home late that night, feeling emotionally drained after the events at Golf 'n' Stuff. As she walked through the door, she was met by her concerned family gathered in the living room. Nervously, she chuckled, trying to mask her apprehension. "What's going on?" she asked, her laughter tinged with nervousness.
Her father, Caleb, approached her with tears in his eyes, his expression pleading. "Show me, please," he begged, his voice trembling with emotion.
Confused, Clementine stepped back, uncertainty written all over her face. "Show you what?" she asked, attempting to deflect, but her father's persistence only grew.
Her brother, Tyler, joined in, his own eyes moist with tears. "Clem, you're hurting yourself again?" he questioned, his concern evident in his voice.
Clementine shook her head vehemently, pulling her jacket sleeves over her arms. "No..." she trailed off, feeling the weight of their worry pressing down on her.
Aunt Anastasia spoke up gently, her voice laced with concern. "Tinie, we're worried about you," she expressed, her words filled with genuine care.
However, Clementine's frustration and fear boiled over, and she recoiled, pulling her hand away from her father's grasp. "Stop it! I'm fine! Leave me the fuck alone!" she shouted, her voice cracking with emotion as she stormed up the stairs to her room, seeking solace from the overwhelming concern of her family.

Clementine's mind was in turmoil as she reached her room. Panic and desperation overwhelmed her, driving her to an action born of pain and anguish. She grabbed a sharp object from her drawer, a desperate attempt to silence the cacophony of emotions raging within her. In a moment of despair, she inflicted harm upon herself, succumbing to the numbing embrace of pain.
A heavy thud echoed through the house, jolting Caleb from his thoughts. Fear gripped his heart as he raced upstairs, his footsteps echoing in the empty hallway. With trembling hands, he pushed open Clementine's door, only to be met with a sight that froze him in terror. His daughter lay unconscious on the floor, a pool of blood staining the carpet beneath her.
Caleb's eyes widened in horror, his breath catching in his throat. He turned to Tyler, his voice trembling with panic. "Oh my god," he gasped, feeling the bile rise in his throat as he stumbled back, his mind reeling with shock. Tyler stood frozen, his face a mask of disbelief and fear.
Anastasia, sensing the urgency in Caleb's voice, rushed to his side, her own eyes widening with alarm as she took in the scene before her. "Call 9-1-1," Caleb commanded, his voice raw with desperation. "What? Why?" Anastasia asked, confusion evident in her tone.
"Just do it, damn it!" Caleb shouted, his voice cracking with emotion, before sprinting to the closet to grab towels. With shaking hands, he returned to Clementine's side, his fingers working quickly to stem the flow of blood, his heart heavy with dread and fear for his beloved daughter's life.
He moved Clementine's head into his lap and she fluttered her eyes. He smacked his hands on her face to keep her awake. "Hey, hey, bean, stay away for me, please," he tried to stay calm with tears streaming down his face as he looked over at his eldest, Tyler who sat on the bathroom floor in shock. Anastasia was on the phone with the paramedics.
As Clementine's consciousness flickered in and out, she found herself being transported on a stretcher, the world around her a blur of motion and noise. Her vision blurred and her senses dulled, making it difficult to discern the faces around her. Through the haze, she caught glimpses of her father, aunt, and brother hovering anxiously nearby.
With each passing moment, the world seemed to fade further away, until darkness enveloped her once more, dragging her into unconsciousness. In that fleeting moment of awareness, she felt a surge of fear and uncertainty, unsure of what lay ahead as she slipped deeper into the abyss of unconsciousness.
