☙ loving the cursed
{{PaleYellowBrightBlue }}
••Name: Alexandra Rebekah Cartwright
••Age: 17
••Caste: 5
••Province: Angeles
••Curse: Through The Looking Glass
Her biggest insecurity starts with her. A peak at herself, and her head's filled with thoughts. Shameful of her figure, face and everything else. She's always talking to the girl in mirror. But there's no changing her ways.
••Looks: (http://www.juldansalon.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/mirror.jpg)
In the real world, she'd be considered be considered fairly pretty. A girl with dark brown hair that tumbles down her back in waves. Chocolate brown eyes, and tan skin, with lips tinted a light pink. And a tiny body, with a big, fat lie behind it all.
But in the mirror, one of the most beautiful girls in the world looks back at her. Silky, straight chestnut hair, big, baby blue eyes and a body to die for. The person she wants to be.
••Personality: Sweet, innocent, lovable and caring. Not really the words to describe her. She's a charmer, a flirt and more importantly an insecure little girl, who's reflection controls her. Jealous, and easily scared is more like it. She's self-serving, cynical and tries to never take other people's opinions to heart, but it never works. At times, her cruel reflection rubs onto her. When she's feeling especially bad about herself, she'll try to become her reflection. Harsh, cold and insensitive to others, it's not a pretty sight to see. Especially in a broken mirror.
••Likes: She likes everything that clears her mind from reality and the pressures of social society. From music, dancing, writing and reading. And everyone has guilty pleasures, right? Her guilty pleasure's chocolate. And she'd love to look in the mirror to see herself and not an illusion. Or a curse.
••Dislikes: She's the kind of person that doesn't like a lot of things, and it's way too long to list. Most notably, food and anything with a reflective surface. And as much as she hates to admit it, she's so scared of her reflection. She thinks it watches her every move, so she looks over her shoulder with every step she takes.
••Fears: She's scared of food. No, not the actual food. Just feeling bloated and then getting fat. She wants to be her reflection, remember? And of course, her good friend, reflection. It's a good thing she's not real.
••Family: She's an only child
Adelyn Cartwright - Mother (alive)
Morgan Cartwright - Father (alive)
••Occupation: Dancer. She wants to lose weight right?
••Backstory: The nightmares of her childhood still haunts her to this day. Waking to tall mirror with the prettiest girl she's ever seen telling her that she was fat and ugly living on the other side of it destroyed her. Her parents couldn't help at all, instead unknowingly made the insecurity worse. They 'accidentally' sew her dance outfits and costumes way too tight, making her think she was getter bigger as the days went by. Sticking her fingers down her throat if she felt uglier than usual. And it's all because of her reflection.
••Plans?: This may sound selfish but she would find a way to destroy all mirrors. Other than that, she'd find a way to break not only her stupid curse, but everybody else's stupid curse. She knew everyone's had enough. But, really, who'd want to marry her?
