Video Editing - The Apps

Soooooo-
I am here to infodump with the info nobody asked for. I needed to distract myself.

I'll help you a little with your video trailers. *wink wink* Hehe I mean- I'll let you know the basics because I am no pro either. I remember struggling so much with video editing and ngl I still do, but with an android phone and a few apps things are a lot better than they previously were.

Before anything else, you must see one of the first nicely made trailers I am pretty proud of (I have one more that I haven't put up *evil grin*)

anyway, now that you know the shit you're signing up for, let's get started !

โœจ THE APPS โœจ

YouCut.

hands down the best i came across.
i couldn't work with inshot, kinemaster, even capcut and sorts (i lose interest the instant i can't do a thing right, yeah that's the thing and i am very lazy and i don't have patience either-)

but this one. god sent fr for beginners like me. you can trim clips very precisely, the music quality is super awesome and so will be your video if the clips you already used were 1080p, it has a few effects and filters i don't use but i think the effects are really cool like the smoke and glitch ones. the retro one also looks great. you can also crop, rotate, mirror, add stickers, tailor the speed as you please.

also it doesn't slap a watermark on your hardwork even with the free version sksksksks-

and, it allows the overlay-ed text (basically the one where you can see through it but it's really there and shows up. i am bad at explaining lord help me-) but no worries, here's a smol video for reference.

see the watermark? that's what i am talking about! all you have to do is get a text with no bg (i use phonto) and then put it there. next on, click on the blend option and go with the โ€˜overlayโ€™ one and you're done!

cons : the animations and transitions can be a lot better. i so so wish it had more options. do let me know what apps you'd recommend for these operations.

Phonto.

this one for the texts. it allows you to download fonts of your own and it's good for pic editing as well. it's very simple and very beginner friendly. doesn't have a lot options tho, but decent enough imo.

Vidmate.

can't download that one awesome youtube video you really want to? this one!
allows you to download both audios and videos individually as well as together and you get to choose the quality too. i loved using this and oh- it doesn't consume much net either.

24fps.

dude sucks fr because so does polarr now *side eyeing that nasty new update that ruined everything*
you'll need polarr in your device beforehand because this doesn't allow you to import filters from it directly. i've had plenty filters stored before that update so this works for me just fine. it lags while you apply the filter but once you save it, it's great. takes -not so less- time to get saved but worth it. also filters make videos a lot better so i'd recommend because i don't know much good filter apps either.

So yeah that's it. That's all I use and I do a very okay-ish video editing. I'd appreciate help too. I really need new filter options (apart from alight motion, that shit is wild).

Next up, I have tips for you to increase your vocabulary. Because a decent vocabulary = a decent description imo. Besides y'all know I am extra, so I'll teach you how to be โœจextraโœจ too.
