Consumed by rage, Shadow seized the hooded figure by the neck, slamming him forcefully onto the floor. A barrage of punches followed, each blow met with screams of pain. Amidst the onslaught, the hooded guy, now desperate, pleaded, "Hey, Shadow, don't harm me. I'll tell you where Luke is."

In a tense exchange, Shadow demanded, "Where is he? Tell me now."

The hooded guy, wincing from the assault, finally relented, "He's in that small room."

Realization dawned on Shadow, "That's why you stopped me when I was approaching the door?"

The guy confirmed, "Yeah, your friend Luke is inside that room!"

Shadow, concerned for Luke's safety, asserted, "I hope he's safe! Or else, you will suffer."

Attempting to reassure, the guy affirmed, "Yeah, he's safe. You can go in there. Also, here's the key to open the door."

Shadow, now more composed, replied, "Oh, okay."

Using the keys provided by the hooded guy, Shadow unlocked the door and entered to find Luke. To his dismay, Luke was unconscious, seated in a chair, his body bound by a rope, and a towel tightly securing his mouth.

Shadow swiftly untied Luke and carried him, rushing to the hospital. As he arrived, nurses promptly took Luke to the emergency room. In the waiting room, a hushed curiosity spread as everyone's gaze fixed upon Shadow Because He Was a SuperHero. Some began capturing photos and videos, but Shadow, engulfed in sadness, paid little attention. His mind was preoccupied with concern for his best friend, Luke, now in the emergency room.

A few minutes later, a doctor approached Shadow with reassuring news.
Doctor: "Hey, Shadow, Luke is okay. He is completely fine, but he needs some rest.
Shadow (Max) felt a wave of relief upon hearing the good news.

Shadow: "Can I meet him?"

Doctor: "Yeah, of course."

Shadow: "Thanks, Doctor!"

Doctor: "No problem, Shadow."

Shadow opened the door to the room where Luke was receiving medical treatment. Luke, spotting Shadow, greeted him warmly.

Luke: "Hey, Shadow! I'm glad to meet you!"

Shadow: "Hey, it's okay, Luke. But I have something to say to you."

Luke: "What is it, Shadow? We are meeting here for the first time. What do you want to tell me?"

Shadow: "Your best friend is Max, am I right?"

Luke: "Yeah, he is my best friend."

Shadow: "I'm Max, and I'm Shadow."

Luke was amazed to learn that his best friend Max was also the superhero Shadow.

Luke: "What? Max, you're Shadow! Can you take off your mask?"

Shadow: "Sure."

Shadow removed his mask, revealing his identity. Luke was astonished to discover that his savior was, in fact, his best friend Max.
