"Are you upset about it?" Peyton asked, sitting across from Kyzion who was building a bracelet out of beads. He'd forgotten his rubber bands at home so he decided to use Peyton's bracelet making kit instead.

"Obviously. And she lied to me. She pinky promised to come pick me up on Tuesday, but she didn't because she's mad at me. You're not supposed to break pinky promises, even if you're upset. That's kind of the entire point." He rambled, grabbing a pink bead from the box.

"Has she asked you more than once not to bring up her ex?"

"I mean, yeah, but what difference does it make? She can't just pretend like he's not there and affecting our relationship." He frowned, sliding the bead on the stretchy string.

"Is he actually? Or are you just figuring that he is because you're afraid of losing her?" She asked, and his frown deepened.

"Peyton do you listen to me? I already lost her to him a few weeks ago. He's the reason we broke up, remember?" He tilted his head to the side, though he wasn't looking at her.

"Technically, you sort of gave her away. At least that's what it sounds like. You told me you were already worried about her leaving, so you just pushed her in his arms-basically." She gestured with her hands, and he didn't respond.

"Kazi, what are you really worried about? It's not her ex. It's a you thing. What is it?" She questioned, watching as his fingers began to move faster as he built a bracelet, signaling that something was wrong.

"Kaz-,"

"I don't want her to leave me when she realizes that I'm a fucking weirdo, okay?! I'm not normal and she deserves someone like-her. Somebody regular! That's not me Peyton!" He exclaimed, accidentally having a physical outburst that caused him to flip over the container of beads.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." He immediately calmed his tone, squatting on the ground to begin picking the beads back up. Luckily, it wasn't a lot.

"Sit down Kazi. It's alright, I'll get it later." She gestured him back up, and he sighed to himself, sitting back on the sofa.

He covered his face with his hands, his right leg bouncing in place out of deep irritation with his own actions and emotions.

It was currently Thursday afternoon, and he hadn't spoken to Nalani since Monday night. An entire two days without communication, and it was driving him crazy.

Whenever he was with her, he no longer worried about having an episode because she kept him calm. He was worry free around her, and it was the total opposite when he wasn't with her.

The last message he received from her was during his nap that he'd taken on Monday, basically telling him that he needed to figure out what he wanted with her because she could no longer be the only one fighting to get over their small break-up.

He hadn't gotten any other messages, but she'd received more than a few from him. He didn't like that they were arguing, so he just asked her to drop the subject instead of doing what she said. She didn't respond though.

Kyzion felt like this whole thing had been blown out of proportion. He didn't mean for it to go this far and he really regretted bringing the topic up with her in the first place. This could've been avoided.

"Kazi, are you listening to me?" Peyton's voice snapped him from his thoughts, and he could feel himself becoming annoyed.

"No." He mumbled, glancing down at the watch on his wrist to check the time.

"I think that you owe her an apology." She told him, and his frown returned.

"Not for the argument or anything like that; but because you're blaming her for something she has no control over. First of all, you aren't weird Kazi. Second, the way that you feel about your diagnosis isn't her fault. You understand that, right?" She closed her notebook, and he looked down at his hands.

"Don't you think she sees beyond that? You talk about her like she appreciates you for what you are. You need to appreciate yourself too. You're a very wonderful person Kyzion." She finished, seeing that it was 2:58 and she knew that he would be out that door in a minute or so.

"Okay. Thanks." He mumbled, standing from his seat, and she chuckled at how he held his same monotone.

"And um, I'm sorry about your beads." He apologized, and then dismissed himself out of the office, keeping his head down as he walked towards the exit.

He pulled his noise canceling headphones on as he made it outside, the bustling of his surroundings making his skin crawl.

He lightly jabbed his fist on the side of his thigh as he strode towards Amanda's car, hoping she wouldn't annoy him further.

"Woah Mr.Mad pants. Don't get yo ass in my car with all that bad energy." She stopped him once he opened the door, and he huffed.

"Ama I don't have time for this. I need to go to Nalani's house. Can you take me?" He got in, making sure he didn't slam the door behind him.

"Sure. Y'all beefing again?" She teased, and he rolled his eyes at her, making her laugh as he purposefully didn't respond.

"Can we stop at the florist shop by Kroger too?" He mumbled, leaning his head against the window.

Amanda smiled at the thoughtful gesture that he was doing for his girlfriend while nodding her head. She was so proud of him for stepping out into the world on his own, having his first girlfriend-even if they were having slight problems.

Problems came with every relationship because no one was perfect. All that mattered was that they were trying.

"Hey. I-um, I brought you flowers. They're uh-pink Peonies, because do you remember we were talking about them when you came to the center for our non-date?" Kyzion nervously stuffed his left hand in his pocket, standing in front of Nalani at her front door.

"Now's not a good time Kyzion. I'm leav-,"

"Can you just listen to me please? I can't keep-not talking to you. I miss you so much. I d-don't like it when you're upset with me." He stammered, softening his tone while trying not to show how nervous he was.

Nalani shifted her weight to one side, and after a few seconds she stepped over, gesturing him to come inside her home.

"Kazi!" Skye shrieked, running to attack his legs, but before she could he swooped her up from the ground.

"Hi Skye." He kissed both of her cheeks, and she fell out giggling as he playfully nibbled her cheek in a way that tickled.

"I missed you sooo much. I haven't seen you in like-this many days." She spread her arms far to demonstrate, and Nalani chuckled while Kyzion smiled.

"I missed you too. Your hair is cute but I thought we agreed to no more beads?" He shifted the way he held her, and she shrugged.

"Don't hate the playa, hate the game." She told him, and he smacked his lips while she laughed.

"Since you're here, that means you're going to the park with me and mommy? Please?" She asked, and he looked over at Nalani who didn't respond.

"Your mommy mad at me." He pointed and Skye looked over, seeing Nalani's resting expression. She wasn't being humored right now.

"Ugh. That means you guys have to talk and I have to go play. I know, I know." She exhaled, shimmying out of Kyzion's grip, and Nalani cracked a smile.

"You're dramatic little miss mamas." Nalani told her, and Skye bucked, before running off to her room.

Kyzion stood upright, dusting his pants off, and then he turned to face Nalani who was already staring at him. Her poker face was so strong that it made him nervous.

"I brought you Peonies so that means you can't be mad anymore; because you love flowers." He held out a bouquet of different toned pink flowers, wrapping in thick pink wrapping paper.

"Thank you for these but that isn't true." She took them from him, and he rubbed his thumb in his palm as she carefully sat them against her counter, reminding herself to buy a vase.

"Look, I-I'm sorry that I kept saying things that you told me not to. I should've listened to you before it got as far as you crying, because I don't like to see you cry. You're really pretty when you're happy-I mean, um, not that you're ugly when you're sad or anything." He trailed off, stopping himself before he could rant.

"I went to therapy today. I realized that every time I go, I talk about you now. You make me really happy, and I'm sorry that sometimes I don't do the same for you. I don't do it on purpose." He scratched the back of his head, his gaze everywhere but on her.

"Um, I also realized that the reason I bring Sinc-I mean, you know who-up all the time is because he's normal, and I'm not. I'm autistic and loud noises make me want to cry, I don't like people touching me, I pull my hair, I don't know how to have sex, all I do is read, I don't have any friends."

"I'm not normal like him and I just think that you deserve someone who is. I don't understand why you want to be with me when you can have anyone that you want. I was blaming you for my insecurities when it wasn't your fault. So, I'm sorry."

"Oh-and I'm sorry about your other baby too. And for what he did to you. And I'm going to stop talking now." He finished, feeling like he'd said enough.

Nalani reached to wrap her arms around his neck, and he immediately leaned over to hug her back, nuzzling his face in her neck.

"I'm so sorry. Sometimes I mess up and I don't realize when I do. And can you not cry right now because I know that you're going to?" He rubbed her back, and she sniffed, hugging him tighter.

"Why are you so perfect?" She pulled him back, rubbing his face in her hands.

"I'm not. That's why I'm apologizing, duh?" He spoke as if it was obvious, and she smiled, rolling her eyes. He was so literal.

"Yes you are. You're so perfect to me and I love all the things you think are weird. That's what makes you, you, and you can't change that baby. And even if you could, I wouldn't want you to. I love every part of you, okay? You make me so happy Tru," She referred to him by his middle name, and he could feel butterflies in his stomach.

"I'm sorry for ignoring you. I was trying to give you space to help you figure things out." She added, and his eyebrows furrowed.

"I don't want any space from you, ever. I don't want to make this something that we always do either, so we have to find a different thing to do when we're upset." He told her, and she chuckled, nodding her head to agree with him.

"Okay. I'm sorry papa," She mumbled, pulling his head down so that she could kiss his cheek, then let him go to stop herself from being touchy.

"That's okay, I forgive you. And, are you sorry for lying too?" He asked, and she tilted her head in confusion.

"You told me you were going to come and get me on Tuesday. You broke a pinky promise. I don't think I can trust you anymore." He stated, and she laughed, rolling her eyes.

"I'll make it up to you. I missed you so much." She wrapped her arms around his neck again, running her fingers through his hair.

"I missed you too. That's why I brought my bag. Can I stay?" He referred to his duffel bag on the floor, and she laughed.

"Yes. You so cute." She chuckled, kissing his face again before letting him go. She needed to finish getting ready.

She turned to grab her phone off the counter, and Kyzion's eyes immediately dropped down to her ass that sat up nicely in her dark blue skinny jeans.

He brought his hand back, and once it made contact with her ass, the sound echoed throughout her kitchen area, and she hissed.

"Babe," She frowned, holding her ass that stung as she turned around to face him.

"Sorry. You look good." He rubbed the spot that he hit, and then trailed his hands lower to grip her thighs.

She smiled as he kissed her lips, her eyes slowly closing as the kiss deepened, and his hand wrapped around her neck.

His tongue slid in her mouth, and he groaned under his breath after feeling her suck it. That reminded him of other not-so-pure things.

His other hand slid through her long blonde hair, and then pulled it so that her head tilted back to give him better access. Nalani moaned, pulling away from him almost immediately after that.

"You wet?" He mumbled, still holding her neck, glancing down after seeing her cross her legs.

"No. Stop it." She lied, pulling out of his grip to walk to her room because now she had to change her underwear, and he laughed. He followed behind her with his bag, and once he made it to her room, he sat it neatly in her closet.

"Why are you going to the park all dressed up?" He asked, watching as she unzipped her jeans.

"When do I ever leave my house like a regular bitch?" She retorted, and he smacked his lips, making her laugh.

"Did you happen to pack a white shirt?" She asked him, seeing that he was wearing a pair of jeans as well.

"Yeah. Why? You want me to match with you?" He chuckled, and she nodded her head, pulling her panties off.

He walked back in the closet, unzipping the bag he packed to grab one of his white Polo shirts. He switched it out with the black one he currently wore, and then changed his shoes to his white forces rather than his black ones.

He sprayed his cologne on his new shirt, and then put his things back away, finally exiting the closet a few minutes later.

When he came out, Nalani was no longer in the bedroom, so he left out after sliding his phone in his pocket.

"Mommy it's fine." Skye huffed, her mom squatting in front of her, trying to fix her shirt. Her baby was so small, and even the smallest sizes looked huge on her.

"You so pretty puddin'." Nalani fixed Skye's gold necklace as well, and then stood up, looking in her small jewelry chest. Kyzion took notice of how she had changed her entire outfit, and he shook his head.

"Hey Kazi. Look, me and mommy matching." Skye referred to the green color in both of their outfits, and he chuckled.

"I like green. That's my favorite color." He held his hand out low, and she gave him a high five with a smile on her face.

About an hour had passed, and it was now nearing five o'clock. The three of them had finally arrived to their destination, but it didn't look very much like a real park to Kyzion.

He was currently jokingly arguing with Nalani because he wasn't taking her pictures right, though he wasn't sure of there even being a correct way to take a picture.

"Well, they're not coming out right because of those ugly ass clown boots you're wearing." He told her, and her jaw dropped while Skye burst into a fit of giggled. She didn't like her mom's choice of shoes either.

"Oh my god, how rude. Give me my phone." She took it from him, and he shrugged with a chuckle, leaning over to pick Skye up after she held her arms out for him.

Nalani led the way towards the park, posting on her Instagram as they rounded a corner.

"What is this?" Kyzion frowned, halting in his tracks after seeing a large amount of people in an area of the 'park', all dressed in jeans or shorts with white shirts.

"The park, duh? Here." Nalani reached in her purse, pulling out his headphones, sliding them on his ears after hearing the music.

"I don't want to go over there Nalani. You said we were going to the park." He mumbled, and she looked over at him.

"We are at the park. There's food, and games, and look-a basketball court." She pointed, knowing that it was his favorite sport.

"Just give it five minutes. If you don't wanna stay, I'll take you back home." She grabbed his hand, and he looked at her for a few seconds, before sighing.

"Ok. Fine. I don't want my headphones though." He rubbed the back of her hand after passing them back to her, letting her lead him towards the get together.

"It's okay Kazi. I told my grandma to tell everyone don't touch you and don't be loud." Skye told him, playing with the the collar of his shirt.

"Your grandma?" Kyzion's eyebrows rose in surprise, and both he could even give the proper reaction, a white lady that resembled Nalani approached them.

"Hi my baby!" She greeted Nalani with a big hug, and Nalani hugged her back, smiling.

"Grandma!" Skye struggled to get out of Kyzion's arms, and he put her down, watching as she ran to the lady to hug her.

"Awww puddin', I missed you! Why it look like you done grew five whole feet since when I saw you last weekend?!" She kissed Skye's face, making her giggle.

"And you, oh my g-he's so handsome Nyny. Hi sweetheart! I'm Nalani's mom, Nautica. I remember when you were just a little boy! Can I shake your hand?" She asked, previously forewarned by Nalani of his icks.

"Yes ma'am, and thank you. It's nice to meet you." He held his hand out, and she shook it with a smile.

"Shit, I need to go find your dad so he could meet him. Skye, let's go find grandpa." She reached her hand out after talking to Nalani, and Skye wasted no time to follow her grandma.

"I thought your mom was still stuck on you and si-you know who?" Kyzion spoke to Nalani in confusion, and she chuckled.

"I told my parents the truth a few days ago. And I told them about you. They're happy for me." She shrugged, still holding his hand.

"Oh. Thank you-for letting me meet them, again." He said, remembering seeing them at a few occasions when he was a kid.

Before Nalani could respond to him, a loud voice made him slightly wince, wondering how was it possible for someone's voice to be that loud.

"Damn you big fat bitch. You must've been swallowing whales instead of some kids." A boy presented himself in front of Nalani, and she smacked her lips.

"Bitch go tell yo gigantic ass mama that. Fat faced ass." Nalani mushed his head, and he laughed, wrapping his arms around her.

"Wassam fine ass." Another boy appeared, and Kyzion frowned as he approached her, pushing him back before he could hug her.

"The fuck is this? What you on?" The boy frowned, and Nalani smacked her lips, pushing him back and then wrapped her arm around Kyzion.

"Kazi, that's my cousin KD, and his best friend Ben. Y'all, this my boyfriend, Kazi." She introduced the three of them, and Kyzion's frown remained.

"Damn. I ain't gone never have my fuckin' turn mane." Ben ran his hand down his face, making Kyzion's head tilt to the side.

"It never was gone be you. Wassup nigga." KD held his hand out, and Kyzion dapped him up, his frown slowly disappearing.

"Nigga look mean as a bitch. Chill, I don't want her foreal gang. That's lil sis." Ben chuckled, dapping him up as well.

"Heard you." Kyzion finally spoke, though he didn't believe him, and now he didn't like him either.

"Where Joe and Boomer at?" Nalani asked because usually they were all together.

"Around here somewhere. Ma' 'nem invited a bunch of random bitches so they ass probably looking for some pussy. Spicy dick ponks." KD shook his head, and Nalani laughed, rolling her eyes at him.

"Say Kazi, you play ball?" Ben asked him, gesturing to the basketball court where a game was starting. Kyzion looked down at Nalani, then shifted his gaze back to Ben after she rubbed his hand.

"Yeah. Yeah, I do." He nodded, and Nalani smiled as he kissed her cheek, then let Ben and KD lead him to the court.
