WREN WHEELER—cousin of Mike Wheeler. When you hear the name Wren Wheeler, the whole police station will moan in annoyance. Wren is what you would call a rebellious teen. He's been in Hawkins Juvenile Detention Center since summer of '83 after he was on last strike from grattifing alleyways.

So, loan and behold, he's released the same day that his old best friend comes back from Camp. No one picked him up from Juvie, so he walks to his best friend's house, only to be mistaken for Dustin and all of Dustins friends are blowing kazoos and realizing it was Wren.

Wren were friends with Will and Lucas. But once he got put to juvie, he lost contact with them. He noticed two girls—which is very odd for them because girls never spoke to them. So, Wren flirts with them, only to find out they're dating people out of those three people.

But Wren kept his eye on one of them—and that was Eleven, or as he was told, Jane—he saw a spark in her and how she was nice to him while the others weren't.

Wren's not really a lover, but a fighter.
