The next day Sofia tiredly laid in her bed not wanting to get up, once again, she had gone to sleep around 11 o'clock and she was still tired, she planned to wake up early so she could finish packing, but she was too tired to do anything per usual, but she reluctantly got up and got ready for her day. Once she was finished brushing her teeth, hair, doing her skincare, she looked around to see Mason sitting at their desk as he scrolled on his laptop, "What're you doing?" Sofia asked looking down at his laptop, "Booking an airbnb which I'm guessing you forgot to do?" he said in a questioning tone, it took her a second to realize, "Yeah, I did," 

"Well then, luckily you have me," he smiled up at her, "Lucky me," she said, he scooted his chair back allowing her to sit on his lap which she did, they sat like that for a few minutes just being in each other's presence until Brooke barged into the room, "Ugh!" she gagged in her mouth at the sight in front of her, "What do you want Brooke?"

"When are we leaving?" she asked walking over to Sofia's bed and plopping down onto it, Sofia stood up off of Mason and walked over to Brooke, "At like 3," she answered plopping down next to her, "Since when do you wake up at 12 o'clock in the morning?" Sofia questioned after a moment of silence, "Since I'm getting closer to seeing Chris," Brooke said in duh tone.

Sofia sat up and looked at Mason, he made eye contact and nodded the two at each other, she sent him a knowing look causing him to leave the room so she could talk to Brooke. "How's that going?" Sofia asked referring to her relationship with Chris. Brooke was crushing hard, and it was pretty obvious but they're still in the talking stage, "It's... going," she huffed, "Not good?" Sofia guessed, "Not bad," Brooke shrugged as Sofia laid back down next to her.

"So, how've you and Matt been?" Brooke asked, Sofia looked at her confused, "You mean Mason?" Sofia guessed, she thought that Brooke had gotten their names mixed up since it's happened before and that is what happened, but Brooke really did wonder how their relationship was going, "Yeah right, Mason." she corrected herself, "So how is that?" she asked with a curious tone.

"Same as always, amazing," Sofia smiled at the thought of Mason, he's an amazing boyfriend and she loved him for it, "I wish I had someone like that," Brooke sighed, "You'll find someone, someday," Sofia assured her, Sofia turned over to face her best friend and sent her a soft smile. Brooke sent back the smile and leaned into her sister and laid her head down on her's, they sat in silence for a few seconds and if you know them by now, they start to fall asleep when there's silence, so that's exactly what they did.

But a few minutes (three hours) later they were rudely awakened by none other than Khai and Nate, Sofia tried her best to ignore them, but she quickly got up when she heard the words, "We're gonna miss out plane," she jumped up from her bed and shook Brooke awake and then they made their ways out the door after saying goodbye to Carlos and Rebecca, telling them that they'd see them soon.

Once they arrived at the airport the ran to their gate, arriving just in time, they went through security, but they had almost missed their flight because they had overslept, which was a pretty normal thing for them. No matter how much they overslept they always found a way to arrive pretty close to the set time. 

As soon as they boarded the plane Sofia tried her best to take a nap, but it was pretty hard since she had to keep a close eye on Khai and Nate, "New York here we come!" Nate and Khai shouted, "Absolute children," Sofia muttered with an eyeroll before she fell asleep with Masion and Brooke by her side.

Whenever the Khai and Nate are together, which is literally every day, they act like psychopaths/crazy people, however you want to put it, usually no one minds it but sometimes it annoys everyone, especially Sofia and Brooke since they've been dealing with Khai's shenanigans since they first meet, Sofia loved him, but she hated when he annoyed her on purpose or acted like an absolute crackhead for no reason, but again she still loved him, sometimes she loved him because of it.

When Sofia and Brooke woke up, they had arrived in New York, "Finally," Sofia smiled as they stepped out of the airport and into the chaos. Not literally but you know. She hugged Brooke as they walked around, exploring like they used to. 

They walked down the streets of New York for a while, just taking in the view, the people, the food, "I'm hungry!" Brooke groaned, "Me too," Khai said with cheesy smile, Sofia scrunched her nose with a smile as she saw the annoyed look on Brooke's face and the look of awe on Khai and Nate's, "Let's go get food children," Sofia called out to them as they wondered off, but that caused them to come back with excited smiles.

Once they got food at a nearby coffee shop, they sat down, ate and talked until they decided to call an Uber and head to their Airbnb to relax and get some more sleep. Once they arrived the soaked in the beautiful view of New York. "This view is to die for!" Brooke said in awe, "This is seriously making me want to move back," Sofia huffed, plopping herself down on a chair that sat outside on the balcony.

"I know same!" Brooke nodded in agreement before turning around to see her sister lying down on a soft chair, big enough for two, she sat down next to her and asked, "Can we please move back?" Sofia sat up leaning on her arms giving her a look, "Seriously? girl if you wanna move back you can, you don't need me anymore... you're 19." Sofia deadpanned, but deep down the words that spilled out of her mouth hurt her.

What if Brooke didn't need her anymore? 
What if none of them did?

"You're my sister, I'm always gonna need you," Brooke told her in a duh tone, "Especially since Khai doesn't listen to anyone except you, not that I'd let him live with me anyways..." she added, trailing off, Sofia couldn't help but smile, "Yeah that would probably be a bad idea anyways," she nodded. Brooke then got up, and it was like she read Sofia's mind.

Like she knew exactly how she was feeling.

"And besides, in the words of Caroline Forbes... "I think I'll always need you."" 

And with that Brooke left leaving Sofia with sad smile on her face. Watching Vampire Diaries when they were younger was their thing, half of their personalities are based on the show, and that quote always made them cry, especially after Elizabeth Forbes died, it killed them, and hearing that again for the first time in almost three years hit hard.

More so because it came out of Brooke's mouth.

"I know I'm always gonna need you guys," Sofia muttered to herself.

"Always need who?" Mason's voice startled Sofia, she turned around to see him leaning against the balcony door, "You, Brooke, Khai, even Nate, all of you," she answered, "We'll always need you more than you'll ever need us," he told her as he walked over to sit down next to her, it was kind of true. They'd always need her, she was the mom of the group after all, but she needed her kids and boyfriend to survive.

"You are the mom of the group after all," he added, his accent was thick and she loved it, "I am not!" she exclaimed, but just as she said that she saw Khai and Nate running from Brooke who chased them around trying to get her phone out of their hands.

"Khai give your sister her phone!" Khai however didn't listen, causing Sofia to stand up and chase after the two boys trying to pry Brooke's phone out of their hands. Meanwhile Mason watched chuckling to himself, "Totally not the mom of the group," he sarcastically muttered.

After chasing Khai and Nate around their Airbnb to get Brooke her phone back, Sofia watched a movie with them, since they had calmed down, once the movie was over, she made dinner with help of Mason and kind of Brooke, who was just mainly on her phone talking to Chris. Then she made everyone go to bed, which was kind of hard because Khai had a lot of energy, but he eventually fell asleep on the couch.

Sofia surprisingly woke up early and in a good mood, hoping it didn't change because of someone's idiocy. She even woke up before Mason, which said a lot because he woke at 9:30 am every day to make breakfast and coffee, but this time Sofia woke up at 9am. She quietly got ready for her day, brushing her teeth and hair, doing her business, washing her face. Even posting on Instagram because she was bored.

Sofia wanted to scream when she saw that Tara Yummy and the Colby Brock had followed her on Instagram, she couldn't believe it, it was insane, but she couldn't wait to share the news with her siblings and boyfriend.

Sofia laughed as she read more comments, deleting the hateful ones, they annoyed her a lot, all she did was hang out with her friends and people hated on her for it, this world is insanely fucked up. 

She quietly walked out of her room and into the living room/kitchen to see Khai knocked out on one couch and Nate knocked out on the other. People (fans) said that the triplets were close but if you asked Sofia Khai knocked them out of that place, Khai and Nate were like brothers, they did everything together, and they were always with each other, no matter what.

Nate was very close with the triplets since they were in 3rd grade from what they told her, but if you asked her Khai and Nate might've been slightly closer. Sofia snapped a picture of the two sleeping, they both looked extremely exhausted, and she couldn't blame them, they were jumping around like monkeys for a while before they fell asleep.

She then quietly made her way into the kitchen, not making a sound and started making breakfast, she made eggs, pancakes, and bacon. She made extra bacon considering how much they all, including herself, love bacon.

But she stopped what she was doing when she saw her phone ding. She had gotten a text from Matt. She immediately stopped what she was doing and started texting back, but the texting soon led to facetiming. 

"Hi," she greeted with a smile as his face appeared on her screen, "Your finally in New York?" he questioned, "Yeah, we got here yesterday," she replied, "Why are you up?" she asked squinting her eyes in amusement and slight confusion, it was about 6 almost 7 am in La, but 9 almost 10 in New York, "I couldn't sleep and when I did fall asleep, I woke up a few hours later," he explained, "Ohh,"

"Okay, I have to tell someone this," Matt tiredly nodded for her to continue so she did, "Tara Yummy followed me!" she exclaimed, causing Khai and Nate to slightly flinch, "She did?" Matt asked with fake enthusiasm, "No need to sound so excited," she sarcastically told him, "Sorry, I just didn't know you liked her," he said, "I love Tara, she's so pretty, I wish I was her," she added the last past in a whisper.

"Why?" he asked hearing what she said, "Because she's beautiful," she shrugged, "Well I think you're wayy more beautiful that she is," this compliment caused Sofia's cheeks to turn pink almost red, "You think so?" she questioned, "I know so," he smiled, "You're beautiful," 

"I think you're beautiful too," she teased, "Well thank you," he chuckled smiling in the process. The two started talking, mostly about what they'd do when the group arrived in New York. Matt thought it would be a good idea to go out to dinner and bring one of his friends, Madi. He figured the three girls would get along really well, especially Brooke and Madi since they had similar interests. 

Soon after the two hung up, everyone was awake, and they all sat down to eat breakfast and the rest of the day was pretty fun. They explored New York like they used to when the first moved there, they went shopping, they ate food, they talked and laughed. And they shared that day with triplets, they weren't there but Brooke was on the phone with Chris for basically the whole day, so it felt like he was there with them, especially with his weird comments and contagious laugh.
