Friday, May 13th, 2022.

Short chapter........

Opening up the red bull in front of her Sofia took a long sip of the drink as she hoped to get some type of 'energy' from the drink, wanting to stay up a few more hours with her friends, instead of knocking out and missing out on the fun.

Bringing the cold can to her slips, she let out a sigh, hoping to not talk about previous events with Matt. It was pretty obvious that he was going to ask her something, but he didn't.

So, now she waited for the time, but it never came.

The group currently sat in the living room trying to be as quiet as possible, but they couldn't contain their laughter as Nate and Khai joked around like idiots, Chris joining as well.

The group tried to play truth or dare, but they decided to take a break from all of the stupid dares. But after Sofia being the mom of the group and telling the three to relax, they all sat down and got ready to play again.

It was currently Brooke's turn, she took a long breath before looking around the room before her eyes stopped on Sofia, "Ummm, Sofia. Truth or dare?" Brooke asked with a teasing smile as her voice went up an octave, meaning she was definitely up to something.

"Truth." Sofia answered with a duh tone, knowing she'd make her do a dumb dare if she had chosen it. 

Letting out a sigh Brooke began to think, "Urmmm, would you ever get back together with Mason?" Brooke questioned wondering what her answer would be.

Sofia's breathe stopped for a second before she let out a dry chuckle and try to answer the question like she wasn't a little bit upset hearing his name.

"Um, no... no I wouldn't." Sofia shook her head, glancing at Matt from the corner of her eye. 

And it was true, she wouldn't get back together with Mason, and it wasn't because he was a bad boyfriend or because she didn't love him anymore. It was because she knew she needed to move on, with who she hoped would be Matt.

"Brooke, truth or dare?" Sofia asked about twenty minutes later after messing with the boys and making them do embarrassing things, with a mischievous tone, sending Brooke an evil smile.

"Dare." Brooke tilted her head to the side and answered with a smirk.

"Hmmm, I dare you to...." Sofia thought for a few seconds before a horrible idea popped into her head. "To kiss...." Brooke's eyes light up when the word kiss was spoken, thinking Sofia would tell her to kiss Chris.

"Nate." 

Brooke's eyes widen and her smile dropped, but Sofia's stayed on her face. She wasn't trying to get back at her for anything, but her previous question had her a little pissed.

"Truth or Dare?" Brooke once again asked Sofia, "Truth." Sofia boringly chose, she had been getting bored of the game and quite tired, but she tried not to be a "Party pooper" and have some fun.

Brooke rolled her eyes as this had been the eight time that Sofia had chosen truth, "Ugh! Bro I had the perfect dare!" Brooke groaned annoyed.

"Truth." Sofia simply responded, clearly not caring what the dare was, causing Brooke to sigh, "Fine." 

Brooke sat there for a minute thinking of what to ask, a simple question, couldn't be that hard, right? Wrong, it took Brooke about three minutes to get the perfect question to ask.

"Out of everyone here who would you date?"  Sofia's eyebrows raised immediately, thinking of Matt, but she couldn't say it out loud.

Although she could lie and say Chris, that would've been awkward, he was her best friend and although she meant it platonically, the one person she really wanted to say was Matt, but she was too scared.

Brooke knowingly raised her eyebrows with a smirk, "Oh c'mon, you have to tell us!" Nick practically begged, "Fine," she sighed, "And make sure to tell the truth and nothing but the truth." Brooke reminded.

What is this court? Sofia thought to herself before letting out a deep sigh and responding, as Brooke's smirk grew.

"Matt." Sofia muttered.

"What? I couldn't quite hear you." Brooke questioned even though she had already heard her, "I said Matt..." Sofia spoke up causing Brooke and Chris to share a look along with a smirk. 

"Of course, he's the only sane one out of all of you." Sofia added trying to joke around causing the group to laugh a bit.

"Come on, Brooke. We don't have all day." Sofia joked with a smirk causing Brooke to squint her eyes at her, before taking a glance a Chris and then walking over to Nate.

"This is so awkward," Brooke whispered loud enough for Sofia and Nate to hear. Brooke then began to lean in and softly kiss Nate on the lips before immediately pulling away.

Sofia began to chuckle as she didn't say where to kiss him, but she didn't bother to stop it. Brooke than dramatically backed up saying how weird that was since Nate was like her brother.

Sofia then rolled her eyes and turned her attention to Chris, seeing if she had gotten any type of reaction out of him.

She didn't get much, but he did seem to tense up as his best friends interlocked their lips.

"Okay, I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty tired, it's already two in the morning." Sofia rose up from the floor as she let out a yawn. "Yeah, me too," Nick agreed.

Sofia then began to clean up the pizza boxes and soda cans along with chips and candies on the coffee table before Nick stopped her calling her a mom and taking the two girls up to his room where they would sleep after saying goodnight to her brothers and Chris and Matt.

Arriving to the room Nick then asked the girls if they need some clothes, which they did, but instead of giving the girls his clothes, he told the two girls to go to his brother's rooms where they'd get their clothes.

Sofia gently knocked on Matt's door as she arrived at the door, opening the door Matt was surprised to see Sofia.

"Um, Nick told me to ask you for some clothes," Sofia spoke, "Um, yeah, come in." Matt jerked his head toward his room as he began searching for the comfiest clothes he could find for the girl.

"Thanks Matt." Sofia thanked the boy, "Yeah, no problem," Matt awkwardly nodded as the two stood in silence, "I'm gonna go change," Sofia spoke after an eternity of the two staring at each other.

Turning around and making her way towards the bathroom where she changed her clothes into his clothes, which was an oversized t-shit, sweatpants, and a hoodie just in case she got cold.

Meanwhile Matt awkwardly stood in his room watching her walk to the bathroom before letting out a sigh and scoff at his awkwardness. 

He cursed at himself moving forward to close his door, before opening it back up and deciding that he needed to see her and try to talk to her at least one more time before the night was over.

Finding the dumbest excuse to go down the steps at the same time as Sofia, Matt grabbed the cup and slowly began walking to his door, not hearing the bathroom door creak he began walking down the steps.

Placing the cup into the sink, Matt heard Sofia's footsteps and turned to the fridge grabbing a water bottle before turning to see Sofia's face and body, in his clothes.

He tried not to stare but it was hard not to as he was now mesmerized by the girl with her messy bun and in his clothes.

"W-what?" Sofia asked with a stutter, "Nothing... it's just- you look good in my clothes." Matt stuttered as he whipped his mouth subtly whipping a bit of drool.

"Thanks, Matt." Sofia smiled as her heart began to flutter, "I'll see you tomorrow, goodnight, Matt." she added as she began to walk to Nick's door, "Goodnight Sofia." Matt smiled as he held his water bottle tight and walked to his room passing Brooke on his way up.

"Look who gave me his clothes!" Brooke exclaimed with a bright smile, "I see," Sofia trailed off, "And I see you with Matt's." Brooke smiled happy for the girl.

"Well, don't we both look good in our boyfriend's clothes," Brooke joked closer to Nick's room where Sofia stood, "Shhh, Nick's gonna hear you. And they aren't out boyfriends," Sofia reminded with a deadpanned expression and tone.

"Not yet." Brooke sings, "Now c'mon let go post our clothes on my story," Sofia rolled her eyes as Brooke grabbed her head and walked her to the bathroom to take a quick picture or five.

After taking about twenty pictures, the two walked back down the steps and into Nick's room to see him already knocked out in his bed. Sofia took a pillow and blanket and laid on the floor letting Brooke sleep on the bed with Nick. 

Brooke easily fell asleep meanwhile Sofia stood up thinking about everything, every conversation, every look, every smile, every awkward moment, everything that had ever happened with Matt, keeping her up all night.

But no matter what Sofia did, she couldn't sleep.

I've been busy, so I haven't been writing, but since school is starting soon, I might not be as busy.

But I hope you guys enjoyed this boring ass chapter.
