Three days later (February 17th), Sofia and Chris had once again made plans to hang out. They wanted to hang out one more time before the three boys left to go back to LA, which was tomorrow and neither of them knew what to do but Nate and Khai thought it would be a good idea to go bowling. So, Sofia agreed, she wanted to beat everyone's ass in bowling before they left, she thought it'd be fun, but for her not them. 
(she's crazy competitive)

They had planned for it to be an all-boys day, but since it would be their last day there considering they left the next day, and since Chris wanted to hang out with Sofia and her friends, but mostly her, before they left, they decided to make it a group thing. 

Sofia and Matt both drove to the bowling alley, very fast since Chris made a bet on who'd get there first. Sofia never lost a bet no matter how big or small it was, so she needed to be first. As soon as they arrived everyone started yelling at Sofia for how fast she was driving, "You could've crashed!" Nate exclaimed, "You probably ran through a red light," Khai muttered, Sofia shrugged in response, "I think I'm having a heart attack," Brooke spoke placing her hand on her chest, feeling how fast it was beating, meanwhile Mason woozily nodded in agreement.

"You guys are so dramatic... I wasn't even going that fast, you're just used to Mason driving like a grandma," she deadpanned.

It was true though, that Mason did drive like a grandma, he always said "Better safe than sorry" which was why Sofia never drove, he would always tell her what to do and how to do it, which she understood because he wanted to make sure that everyone was safe, but it would quite annoying after a while.

Mason's mouth dropped in offense, "What? I-I do not drive like a grandma... do I?" the four glanced around not daring to make eye contact with the boy, Brooklyn slowly walked away with Nate and Khai following after her, "Do I?" he asked his girlfriend, "...Yeah, you do," she bluntly told him, placing her hand on his cheek before walking away leaving him in shock, mouth open wide.

"Close your mouth before a bug flies in there," she told him continuing to walk inside as put her headphones on leaving him shocked once again. 

After a few minutes of the five sitting in the bowling alley waiting for the brothers to arrive, they finally did. It was perfect timing too, Khai and Nate were telling dad jokes, thinking that they were so funny, luckily for them they arrived just in time because if they didn't Sofia and Brooke would've strangled them until they shut up. 

"Ugh, finally they were starting to piss me off," Sofia groaned in annoyance standing up and walking over to the three immediately giving Chris a friendly hug, "I won," she whispered in a bragging tone before pulling away, he scoffed at her in slight disbelief that she was bragging over something so small, she then hugged Nick, and then Matt. 

It was a friendly but short hug, neither of them thought anything of it but Chris on the other hand was cheesing like crazy, he had a feeling something would happen between the two even if Sofia had a boyfriend. The two pulled away and smiled, staring into each other's eyes for a split second, "Okay let's go!" Brooke exclaimed pulling Sofia away from the boy, she rolled her eyes at her sister.

"I am so gonna win this time!" Sofia glanced playfully checking her temperature, "A-are you feeling okay?" Brooke looked at her confused, "I think you're coming down with a case... of delusion. because I am so going to win!" she exclaimed shaking her shoulders. "I've never seen her so excited to bowl," Mason whispered to Khai and Nate, who nodded in agreement at her and Mason, "It's true she always wins." Khai told the triplets, "And Nate, always loses," he muttered, "It's true, I mean I thought I was bad, but then I met Nate," Brooke told them as they laughed because Nate was always telling them how good he was.

Nate looked at what he called his best friends and stepsister in offense, "W-wha-?" Sofia and Brooke innocently walked away with Mason and Khai following behind them in silence and once they were out of their reach they chuckled to themselves, trying to hold back their laughter. Chris was next to follow, and then Matt, and then Nick, leaving Nate by himself with his mouth open in shock.

After getting their shoes and some food they all started playing, Brooke went first, then Chris, Mason, Matt, Nate, Nick, and then finally Sofia, she really hated that they automatically organized the names in alphabetical order. It was once again Sofia's turn and she was winning, but she was very close to Matt who was three points away from beating her. 

Everyone was shocked that Matt was so close behind her, Sofia always won and now he might win. Sofia got up for her last turn, grabbing her ball, and walking over to the aisle, she took a deep breath and practically threw her ball down, she carefully watched her ball as it dashed down the aisle, paying very close attention, since she so desperately wanted to win to prove that she always won. 

When Matt went, he got 152 points, but he missed three pins, all Sofia had to do was get one more than he did and she'd win, so she crossed her fingers hoping that she won. She had a reputation to keep after all. 

"C'mon, c'mon," she repeatedly muttered to herself as she held her crossed fingers up, she waited and when the ball and pins clanged together and fell to the ground, she ran over to the scoreboard glancing up at the TV to see if she won or not.

The points came in and when they did, she won. She tried her very best not to brag but when it came to winning, anything she loved it, and sometimes she couldn't help it. "I knew you were gonna win," Brooke spoke, "I thought you said you were gonna win?" Sofia questioned her best friend, recalling the moment just minutes before they went in, "You seemed very confident," she added, "C'mon, we both knew I wasn't going to win," Sofia shrugged in agreement.

"Congrats Sofie, you have proved yourself as once again being the bowling champion," Khai clapped, she chuckled at him, as the group started talking about her win, she felt bad for bragging to herself in front of Matt, so she walked over to him, "Good game," she told him with smile, "Yeah good game," he nodded with a small smile.

Little did they know Chris watched the two from afar as they started talking and laughing, he had never seen his brother smile so much throughout their whole lives. He knew what was happening, or what was going to happen, Matt had been moody all week but when he was around Sofia and her friends, especially her, his mood automatically disappeared, he was different, good different.

After Matt and Sofia's conversation about some things, Khai and Nate ran over to the two telling them that they were hungry and that they were going to get food, Sofia and Matt had been so caught up in their conversation that they didn't even realize their friend group walking away from them. 

They got food and started playing in the arcade like little kids. Khai and Nate were running around like psychopaths, and they ended up dragging Chris into it, Sofia laughed at them, making sure to record everything just in case they said or did something funny, which was a given with the three. Matt shook his head at the three and their actions, he usually would've probably been a little moody and annoyed, but he wasn't.

After spending the whole day with the triplets, they all went home and they were all exhausted, Sofia had started falling asleep on the way home, and as they waited for Khai, Nate, and Chris to stop goofing around. She was really going to miss them goofing around, they were leaving tomorrow, and she was going to miss them, at least she'd still have Nate and Khai.

Matt and his brothers arrived home, greeting their parents, brother, and dog, before making their way to their rooms, Matt immediately got ready for bed, he had been exhausted and he hadn't gotten much sleep the previous days, as he was about to close his eyes, Chris came in and laid down next to him, "What the hell are you doing?" Matt asked with a groan, "I'm sleeping with you tonight," he simply replied.

Matt jumped to say something but sighed in defeat knowing his brother wouldn't listen, he rolled over and closed his eyes trying his best to go to sleep. Chris on the other hand scrolled through TikTok, causing Matt to yell at him to turn it off, "Dude, turn it off!" Chris rolled his eyes and turned it off and also tried to go to sleep.

The next morning the three had gotten their bags said their goodbyes to their parents and brother and made their way to the airport, meanwhile Sofia, Brooke, Mason, Khai, and Nate all rushed to the airport to say their goodbyes.

The three brothers thought that last night was their goodbyes, but they all wanted to say goodbye one last time before they actually left for a while. So, when the group arrived, they ran out of the car and straight to their gate knowing that they'd be leaving soon. 

As they ran, literally, to the gate they stopped seeing them only a few steps away from where they stood, of course they weren't at their gate yet, she thought to herself before running over to them with her friend group following behind her, "Matt!" she yelled after him, the three kept walking away from where they stood which is why she called them, but Brooke watched her wondering why she called Matt first.

Brooke always paid attention to details and that one was one she couldn't stop thinking about.

They stopped, turned around, and saw their best friends standing a few feet in front of them, "What're you guys doing here?" Nick asked as Matt looked stunned, "We wanted to have a proper goodbye before you guys left," Sofia answered, "Yeah, we didn't know when we'd see you guys again," Brooke nodded in agreement, "Well we leave... in 20 minutes," Nick told them pausing to check his phone.

The group smiled at each other and started talking as they walked to their gate. They talked for 15 minutes, just laughing and making stupid jokes, taking pictures, etc. until it was time for them to leave, as they said their goodbyes Sofia said goodbye to Chris, "I swear to god, if I call you and you don't answer, I'm gonna fly down to LA and kick your ass," she promised, "Oh well then I'm gonna make sure not answer," he told her, she looked at him confused until he answered her confusion, "Cause then you'll be in LA duh," he said with a duh tone, she smiled at him with a laugh before bringing him into a tight hug.

Matt watched the two hug, he felt a burning sensation in his chest, he didn't like it one bit, he tried to move around, and drink water but it was still there and he continued to watch them, "And that my friend is called jealously," Brooke whispered in his ear, he jumped in surprise before realizing it was just her, "What the hell are talking about?" he asked as he watched with jealousy in his eyes, a jealousy he didn't feel.

"You're jealous because you want her to hug you like that," she told him, he rolled his eyes at her delusion, "You like her," she sang, "Oh my god you sound just like Chris," he groaned, "I do not like Sofia," he told her with a stern tone, "You can keep telling yourself that but we both know you're lying," but he didn't, he didn't know he was lying, he was convincing himself that he didn't, he knew he didn't, did he?

"Bye Matt," they hugged, "Bye Brooklyn," they pulled away as Sofia walked over, "Guess I'll see you in a couple months?" she questioned him, "Maybe sooner," he shrugged tightly gripping his suitcase not realizing that he was getting flustered, "Hopefully, now I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told Chris and Nick," he nodded for her to continue, " If I call you or text and you don't answer, I'm gonna fly down to LA and kick your ass," 

He laughed at her assuming she was joking, "Why are you laughing? I'm being serious," she told him with a deadpanned expression, "Yeah okay," rolling her eyes at him, she pulled him into a hug which was just them for a few seconds until Khai and Nate looked at each other with a knowing look and joined in following the rest of their friend group.

And then their gate was called, the three boys pulled out and said goodbye as they walked through the door, "I'm gonna miss them," Brooke told her friends, "Same," Sofia nodded in agreement interlocking her arm with Brooke's and then walking away with the three following behind them.
