Sirius Black

Sirius tried to follow the girls and Professor McGonagall. The image of Leah, laying in Professor McGonagall's hands, being supported by the legs by her friends, all bloody, unconscious and scarred was stuck in his mind, tearing his brain apart. 

He was brainlessly pushing through the crowds with James, (who was still screaming loudly about being Lily's boyfriend), Remus and Peter. 

By the time the Marauders found their way into the Entrance Hall, the Golden Gang and Professor McGonagall were gone. 

"Where is she?!" Sirius said frantically. In all the running, his hair had gotten messed up. But it was the fearfulness of the scene that made him totally not care at all. 

"I don't know!!" Remus exclaimed. "Leah is gone!" 

"How about we check the hospital wing?" James suggested. The other three looked at him. "What?" James shrugged. "The logical one provides another amazing answer," 

The Marauders then ran to the Hospital Wing, with Sirius in the lead. Madam Pomfrey probably wasn't going to let them in; Sirius didn't care. 

What if Leah was dead? Right when they found their newfound friendship! Or maybe the same people that killed her dad was slowly killing her family off! Which meant that Leah's younger sister Reagan also had to watch out! Of course, this was all speculation . Sirius had no actually clue about Leah's background except for the facts that her father was dead, she had four siblings and her mom was an Auror. 

Suddenly, a figure ran as fast as light across their path, then turned the way they were going.

"Hey!" Sirius shouted. "Watch out!" 

The persons stopped, turned around and rolled their eyes. Or, her eyes. 

"Reagan?" Sirius said incredulously. They stopped walking. 

Reagan narrowed her eyes. "How do you know who I am? And I don't know who you are, creep!" 

"Hey, we're not-!" James protested, but Sirius cut him off. "I'm Sirius Black. You're Leah's younger sister, right?" 

"Duh," Reagan said. "And if you'll excuse me, my sister might be dying-" She teared up suddenly. "And you freaks are mad because I ran in front of you!" Reagan angrily glared at them, before taking off again. 

"Follow her?" Peter said suggestively. Sirius ran after Reagan, and the Marauders reluctantly followed. 

"Reagan, wait!" Sirius called after her. He skidded on the landing to the upstairs on the third floor. Reagan's long brown ponytail disappeared out of sight. 

Sirius swore loudly and hit the wall behind him. 

"Y'know, maybe you are a creep," Remus commented as they hurried up to Sirius, panting. "Why are you chasing after a thirteen year old girl?" 

"Because" Sirius emphasized. "Madam Pomfrey would let us in if we were with Leah's sister, but she won't if we're just us!" 

"True," James said. "But...if I say I'm Lily's boyfriend..." 

"James!" Peter hit his arm. "Lily is not the patient. LEAH is! So if Sirius says he's Leah's boyfriend..." 

"Then the Golden Gang will attack me," Sirius said lamely.

"Or Madam Pomfrey will let us in," Peter insisted. 

'Fine, lets pull a James," Sirius grumbled. "And I'll claim I'm Leah's boyfriend,"

Sirius was sitting in Professor McGonagall's office, a plate of ginger snap cookies laying on the wooden table in front of him. He was tempted to pick one up and eat one, but didn't. He knew why Professor McGonagall had them there. It was to test her student's self-restraint. Well, Sirius wasn't going to give in that easily. Though his stomach was rumbling. It had been a while since his last meal. 

Professor McGonagall was standing at the door, conversing with Madam Pomfrey. Her. Sirius thought bitterly. Madam Pomfrey had kicked the Marauders out of the hospital wing, then called Professor McGonagall. Currently, the other Marauders were sitting in the corner of shame outside the stern professors office. 

"So, Mr. Black," Professor McGonagall said finally, as she held a paper in her hand and closed the door, not before peeking at the corner of shame to make sure James, Remus and Peter hadn't disappeared. "Madam Pomfrey has quite the list of offences against you," 

"Don't know what you mean, Minnie," Sirius said with a grin. 

"You know good and well, Black, that the name you and Potter, Lupin and Pettigrew use for me is nothing but disrespectful!" Professor McGonagall said sternly, but Sirius thought he saw her stifle a smile. 

"Now, back on to the list." Professor McGonagall picked up her glasses and peered over them. "Disturbing the peace. Disturbing the peace of recovering students. Lying in the face of an adult figure. Harassment-" 

"What harassment?" Sirius exclaimed. "There was no harassment involved!" He stood up so quickly, his hair fell into his face. This time he did care, so he straightened it. 

"Apparently there was," Professor McGonagall said, glaring at him. "Now one more. Trashing." 

"Wha-?" Sirius was confused. When had he trashed the Hospital Wing? 

"Maybe I shall explain," McGonagall said, and Sirius nodded. 

"Disturbing the peace and disturbing the peace of recovering students are the same thing. You know what I mean," She added angrily. "Yelling at the top of your lungs idiotic things, while slamming the doors open." 

Sirius cowered in shame. He felt he should have gone in the corner of shame. 

"Moving on to lying." Professor McGonagall continued. "You claimed that you were Miss White's girlfriend, in a desperate attempt to be let into the hospital wing, and specifically, see Miss White's body," 

"Body?!" Sirius's heart sank. "Is she- she's not-?" 

"No," Professor McGonagall said, and she sounded relieved. "But back to what matters. Harassment. Yes, Black, harassment." 

Sirius was very interested to how this accusation came into play.

"Firstly, Mr Potter seemed to be harassing Miss Evans, by talking to her nonstop even when she told him to quit. Secondly, you were harassing Miss Evans, Miss Fortescue and Miss McKinnon by shouting at them. Thirdly, you apparently followed Reagan White up here, and the young Miss White has told me that you were shouting at her as well. She said you were, and I quote, "A little creep who followed me to try and see the bloodied body of my sister,"" 

"Okay, so the Reagan thing might have happened, and I might have shouted at the Golde- I mean, Leah's friends." Sirius admitted. "It's not harassing! More like communicating!" 

"The way Madam Pomfrey and several eye witnesses in the hospital wing say it was harassment, Black." 

"But- the one about Lily-! Why don't you have James in here!" 

"The most offences are against you!" Professor McGonagall said loudly. "And I shall continue. Trashing the hospital wing. You apparently left a piece of scrap paper next to Miss White's bed-" 

"A get-well card!" Sirius interrupted. 

"AND- after Madam Pomfrey refused to let you see her, you found the nearest tissue box and ripped all the tissues out, leaving a paper mess all over the floor," Professor McGonagall finished. "I cannot express how disappointed I am in you, Black. You're parents have been informed, of course-" 

"SO?!" Sirius exploded. "I don't care what they think! Tell them, go on, tell them anything! I'm disowned, remember? Or have you got amnesia already?" 

"Mr Black, you know full and well that the Hogwarts professors are extremely well informed." Professor McGonagall said sharply. "And do not disrespect me again like that, or else you will be facing seven months with your head down the boys toilets for scrubbing duty. Understood?"

Sirius nodded. Professor McGonagall sighed. "Okay, let me schedule a detention for you with Mr. Filch." 

Sirius made a face, hoping Professor McGonagall would see and change his detention. "Black, you deserve every second of this punishment!" She said sternly, grabbing the tin of Floo powder. She threw some in and called, "Filch!" 

A few seconds passed, and Filch the caretaker stepped out of the green flames, looking as grumpy as usual. "What?" He snapped. 

"Mr. Black here, has detention. Do you need any help done?" Professor McGonagall asked. Sirius noticed now her tone was less stern, as if she was pitying Sirius for having to doing detention with the caretaker. 

Filch's dirty face spread into a wide, evil grin. "Why yes, I needed some scrubbing done in the grooves of the tiles in the boy's bathroom on the first floor done. By today," 

"WHAT?!" Sirius shouted. "Today?! Do you know how dirty those tiles grooves are?!" 

"Which is why I need it done," Filch said with a smirk. "Now come along," 

"Black," Professor McGonagall said to Sirius as he gloomily followed Filch out of the office. Sirius perked up at a desperate thought that Professor McGonagall was going to spare him. "Tell Potter to meet me in here," 

Sirius's head dropped and he said, "Yes, professor." 

But when Sirius turned the corner to get James, James was gone. 

James Potter

James was hurriedly racing away from McGonagall's office, after abandoning Remus and Peter to wait in the corner of shame. He was running to the hospital wing. He had passed a fifth year Hufflepuff boy who was complaining about going to his next class. 

"Wait!" James hollered as the boy walked in the opposite direction. "I have a proposition to make!" 

The fifth year boy grumbled and turned around. At sight of James, he sucked in a breath and stood obediently. 

James ran towards the boy. "I heard you don't want to go to class," 

"No," the boy said grumpily. "I have Potions, and-" 

"Whatever," James interrupted. "I need a distraction to get Madam Pomfrey out of the hospital wing, and you need an excuse to get out of going to potions. So..." 

"AHHH HELP PLEASE!" The boy screamed. Luckily, it was a Monday afternoon, and the student's next classes were starting soon, which meant they were walking through the crowded halls. "I'VE GOT ANTLERS SPROUTING OUT OF MY HEAD, AND THERE'S BOILS ALL OVER MY SKIN!" 

This caught the attention of the passing students, as they watched the Hufflepuff boy writher around on the ground with his almost meter long antlers sticking out of his head, and the red, itchy boils popping up on his face. 

"I'll get the matron!" A young Gryffindor girl said, then scurried off to get Madam Pomfrey. James smiled to himself. 

Soon, Madam Pomfrey came running towards the boy, who was faking laying down on the ground, and she tried to help him up. James ran silently away towards the hospital wing. 

James quietly pushed open the great wooden doors to the Hospital Wing, and peeked around. Most of the patients were asleep (or faking) and then there was a curtained off bed, which was probably holding Leah, and the rest of the Golden Gang was sitting in three seats at the end of the bed, whispering to themselves and looking tearful. He ran forward, his hand outstretched. 

"Potter!" Lily exclaimed sharply. "What the heck are you doing here?" 

James lowered his arms. Lily scoffed and threw her head back. "Not the stupid hug again. Just because I might have been dared to kiss you yesterday-" 

"No, I'm here to see Leah!" James interrupted. 

Lily, Alice and Marlene immediately went on the defence. Lily and Marlene went and stood in front of James with their arms crossed, where Alice went to go check on Leah, then copied her friends movements. 

"On behalf of Sirius." James insisted. 

Marlene covered her ears. "That jerk threw tissues everywhere, woke up the whole hospital wing, managed to insult all three of us with his big humongous dumb mouth, and sent Leah's lil sister to tears!" 

Lily nodded. "It took half an hour to coax everyone back to their naps after your-" She stuck out her tongue in disgust. "Stupid group came and caused the commotion!" 

"Think about now only your own big heads for a moment, please, and take a second to realize there is actually people around you!" Alice said, spreading her arms out to point to the sleeping patients. 

"Bu- I thought you were friends with Sirius!" James said. He had thought he would be welcomed with warm hearts and cheerful hellos! 

All three of them scoffed. "Leah might be, but us?" Marlene said scathingly. "We don't trust an inch of your slimy skin," Lily added. 

"But- but- you let us play truth or dare with you!" James burst out. 

"True, it was fun-" Alice started. "But in the moment. Even idiotic bullies have their fun moments," Marlene finished. "So go on, and tell Mr Black that we don't give a crap of what he says," 

"I got roasted?" Sirius asked after James returned from the hospital wing. The three boys had been let go, after they realized James was gone, and thank goodness, there were too many boys in the boys bathroom to be able to scrub the floors. So Filch let Sirius do it the next day. 

"No," James said, gazing into the fire. "You got completely burned and scorched to ashes." 

"Ah," Sirius said gloomily. "I thought so,"

So an extra long chapter today, (2.2K) words, I never get this far lmao. This chapter was more to show how much Sirius cared for Leah that he actually trashed the hospital wing XD

Oh, and to include some badass Golden Gang moments. I just love writing when they roast Sirius and James.
