"You will not come down here. Finish your bloody mission and let me take care of this mess." Valerie says into the phone, obviously talking to Deckard. "Alright fine but the minute I finish, I'm goin' down there and picking up my kids," he said, voice straining with frustration. "Fine. They're with Brian. But I doubt you'll need to come by anyways."
"Send me the address. I gotta go. Some assholes trying to kill your dumb brother," Deck said with exasperation. "Tell him I say hi. Bye darling. Love you."
"Love you too."
Valerie shut her phone off as the call ended and tucked it in her pocket. She grimaced as she walked through the tunnel that led to a hideout apparently. Finally arriving there, her phone was suddenly pulled from her pocket and sucked onto a machine that also took Roman's silverware with it. "Oh fuck you. I just bought that." Valerie spoke up, catching their attention.
Tej, Ramsey and Roman all turned to her and grinned. Ramsey ran towards her first, wrapping her arms around the woman. "I missed you so much. How are the twins?" Ramsey says, pulling away with a smile. "They're doing good. They're staying with Brian until I'm finished here," Val said. Roman walked over and pulled her into a hug, "How you doin' girl? You lookin' good. Finest mama I've ever seen damn." He flirts.
Val chuckles, patting his shoulder, "I'm doin' good. Thank you."
Tej walked over lastly and embraced the black haired woman, "you look good mama. Those kids some how made you look finer, damn," he smirked, checking her out. Valerie chuckled, shaking her head in amusement, "You flatter me darling. But I'm married now so you officially have no chance." Tej rolls his eyes playfully, picking up her phone and handing it to her. Luckily it was still intact courtesy of her protective cover and phone case.
"I will be right back." Valerie said, tucking her phone in her pants.
They watch as she walks over to Dom, sliding her hand around him. "Little B got very big. Last I remember he was a little baby I was saving in an airplane," Val smirks, catching a small smile rise at the corner of Dom's lips. Dom sighs, "I tried my best to keep you out of it but, I guess you're family now too." Val smiles warmly at being considered family, even after all she went through with them.
"Considering you were at my wedding, I would feel offended if I wasn't considered family," Val teased, chuckling with Dom.
"It's good to have you back, Val." Dom said.
"I couldn't agree more. Hey guys." Letty's voice caught their attention. "Surprise." Valerie almost froze hearing a voice she never thought she would again. "Nice clubhouse," Han says, a bag of chips in his hand as usual. Dom and Val turned at the same time, seeing him alive with their own eyes. She let's out a shaky breath, a tear falling subconsciously from her eye.
Tej was the first to walk up and hug the man, "Sup, man." Tej turned and shook hands with a young Japanese teenage girl who showed up with them. Roman embraced his friend, still in disbelief.
Valerie walked down the steps, her heels clicking against the pavement as she made her way towards him. "You fucking prick." Han frowned slightly but he honestly expected that from her. "Did you miss me?" He raised a brow. Val cracks a small smile, "just a little bit, yeah. Come here." She pulled him in, more tears falling down her cheeks as they embraced.
She pulled away, running a hand down his head, she pressed a kiss to his cheek and backed up, holding her shaky hands over her mouth, still in disbelief. Letty pulled her into a comforting hug as Dom made his way towards Han. Han walks over to meet him halfway, "So you got my postcard, huh?" Dom simply pulls him into a hug, basically confirming that he did.
Val spots Jakob's look from the corner of her eyes and smirks. "I will be right back. Catch up without me." Val says, getting their attention. They watched as Valerie walked over towards the place Jakob was being kept and opens the tall door, stepping inside, she closes it with the remote she took from the table and tucks it in her bra.
Jakob watches as she leans up against the wall, a small smirk growing at the corner of her lips. "Dom didn't have to tell me anything about you. I actually heard a ton about you from my mother. You worked with her, yes?"
Jakob looks up at her from where he sat, "Malina Santina? I don't know. Memory's a little lazy." He shrugs.
Val chuckles, "Let me see if I can help jog your memory." She walks towards him and leans down in front of him, "You double crossed her. Left her bleeding, barely alive at my family's front fucking door. My little sister found her. You absolutely traumatized her." He could see her eyes grow more cold as she continued, "You are so very fucking lucky that I can't kill you. Not because we need you, but because your Dom's family. And the last thing I need is making an enemy out of him, again."
"You know, I think it's starting to come back to me actually." Jakob said, standing up as Val did, matching his pace. "Your mother was a selfish greedy woman. Though, she never did talk about you. She mentioned Austin and Selena like no other. But you, I don't know, she almost seemed disgusted even thinking about you. Frankly I don't know why you care so much. It's not like you got along."
Val looked up at him, unfazed. She was used to everyone pittimg them against each other. That was in the past. Yes, she didn't have the best relationship with her mother but she was still her mother. "Your mother was going to cross me first. So I just did what she would've done," Jakob shrugs, leaning against the wall.
"Did you know Cipher was after my kids?" Val asks. She searched his eyes, his reaction was vague but their was a sense of surprise in his eyes she could pick out. "So what if I did? You can't do much about it," Jakob said.
Valerie pulls out a knife from under her pants and twirls it in her hand. "They said I couldn't kill you. But they never said I couldn't hurt you." Jakob's face drops as Val steps closer, just as she grips the knife tighter, her phone buzzes in her pocket. She sighs and answers it, "Hello?"
"Hi mum!" Nik's voice come through excitedly. Her eyes widened slightly, "Hi baby. Look I can't talk right now. I will call you back later I promise. I love you too. Bye." She quickly hangs up and tucks her phone back in her pocket.
It's almost like she calmed down hearing her kid's voice. She put her knife back and scoffed at Jakob, "You're not even worth it. My mum and dad always used to say Dom was always the better Toretto. I unfortunately agree with them for once. You're pathetic." She spat towards him, sneering at the taller man. She clicked the button to open the door and walked out, shutting it on his clearly angry expression.
She turned around, raising her brows at how fast everyone looked at her. "That was cold, Val." Roman said, offering her a beer. She politely shakes her head, declining his offer, "No thanks. I don't drink anymore." Roman nodded in respect of her decision.
Valerie took a seat next to Letty, crossing her legs as they listened to Han's story. Letty noticed how she tensed each time Giselle was mentioned and couldn't help but wonder why. Han went on with his story, and the girl added onto it. "We became a family," she said, glancing at Valerie who also looked at her curiously.
"Always be a target?" Tej questions, repeating what the girl said in her story.
"Cause she is the key," Dom speaks up. They all glance over at him. "Everybody's been looking for a thing. It was a person all along," he explains.
"My parents didn't want Project Aries to fall into the wrong hands, so they locked it with their own DNA, something we share," the girl adds.
"And then, one day, Mr. Nobody gave me the heads-up that one of his best agents went rogue," Han said. "So when Deckard Shaw came calling, we used it as cover." Han finishes, glancing away from Valerie meanwhile everyone else couldn't help but peek a glance at her. Valerie looked away, remembering her reaction to all of that. A former part of her felt bad that she stayed with him, but now, she didn't regret it. She loved him. Letty put a hand on her shoulder, providing comfort to her friend.
"But you got killed in a car crash, Han," Roman points out.
"Mr. Nobody had a way of making things look real," Han shrugs meekly. "My death...-" "became the best way to stay alive," The girl finished for him.
The alarm suddenly went off. Tej and Ramsey ran to their tec to figure it out. Though the dozens of men in black swarmed the area. Guns pointed at everyone, they surrounded the crew. A man grabbed onto Valerie, searching for the remote, "You fucking perv." He took it from her bra and opened the doors to let Jakob out along with taking her guns she had on her.
"That's it, right there. Yeah, nobody moves...everybody lives." A blonde haired man says, marching down the stairs.
Val rolls her eyes as Jakob walks out, smirking at Valerie for a mere second. "Jakob," Mia says in a disappointed tone. "I'm sorry, Mia," he said, though it didn't sound all so real. Jakob looks at Dom, "I was the rogue agent. Me. Dom, you ever think about how Mr. Nobody found you? Think he just dropped out of the sky and chose you? I ran missions with Mr. Nobody out of this place for years."
Jakob sighs, almost with relief, he looks at the girl, "I've been looking for that key for a long time, Dom. And you just handed her over. I told you. This is my world."
"Got it," Otto says, handing the piece over to Jakob. Val raises a brow, recognizing Otto. He was the guy who tried to get with Selena for a long while.
"Got a lot of guys here. You trust 'em?" Dom asks, not even sparing a glance at his brother. "I trust this," Jakob smiles, holding up the device. "You know the only good thing to come from Dad dying? If he hadn't, I'd spent my entire life in your shadow. And now you're gonna spend the rest of yours in mine." Jakob walks off, though he pauses in his steps when Dom speaks. "Only good thing about Dad dying..was he didn't have to watch what you became. You never deserved the Toretto name."
Val fake winces, getting a small nudge from Mia. Jakob angrily storms over to Dom, "You think you knew Dad, huh? What, cause you were his favorite? You don't know shit! Okay? You want the truth? Dad died cause he was trying to throw that race. We were in deep debt. Cause of how he felt about you, he had to ask me for help. How was I supposed to know that car was gonna blow?"
"A good son would've said no. And a real brother would've come to me," Dom said.
"Come to you?" Jakob questions like it's a joke. "He made me promise you would never find out. And through all of it...I kept that promise." Jakob marched away, "the girl comes with me."
"Jakob!" Dom shouts, stopping Jakob in his tracks. "I will stop you. And that's my promise." Jakob turns around and walks up the stairs. The bad guys grab onto the girl, "Hey!" Han tries to fight but merely gets punches down and a gun aimed at his head.
"Pull that trigger and I will kill you within a mere second," Val threatened calmly, the man glaring at her. "Sue. Sue. Come on. Come on. You don't wanna pick a fight with a Santina." Otto says. The man lowers the gun and goes with them as they take the girl. Letty, Mia and Roman all check on Han as Dom and Val exchanged looks.
The minute the door shuts, Tej turns on the large magnet, "Get down!" They all dropped down as the bad guys guns and smoke bomb pins all get pulled onto the magnet. "Come on!" Dom and Valerie kick down the men and the rest of the crew all run out through the tunnel. "This way!" Ramsey was the first up the ladder, and so on climbed up the rest of them.
Dom was last, though from the scream of Letty, it caused Valerie to run back. "No!" Letty screams seeing Dom fall with the rest of the rubbish. Valerie quickly open the door to jump and get him but Letty stops her, "No. You have kids. I'll do it." Val sighs and nods, backing up so Letty can jump down.

Valerie runs a hand over through her hair, taking a seat next to Tej as Ramsey figures out what to do next. "From here, things move quickly. Jakob has all the pieces he needs. Once he activates Aries, all he needs to do is send the signal global," Ramsey explains to the group. "And then there's no stopping him, ever," Tej adds.
"He'll have to launch some kind of pirate satellite, something that'll act as an amplifier, infecting other satellites in orbit one by one," Ramsey goes on further. "So we find him, stop him, and then we get Elle back," Han says as though it's simple. Val understood how he felt. If it was the twins in this situation, she'd do anything to get them back.
"Our odds are zero here, Han. Satellite equipment is easy enough to track, but we're not gonna beat Jakob to a launch," Tej points out.
"Which gives us a two target problem. Jakob on the ground-" "with his own private army," Mia finishes. "And the satellite," Tej adds, "which can't be hacked," Val adds on to his sentence. "Not remotely. We'd have to do it physically. 50 miles above ground while the satellite is in orbit," Ramsey explains further.
"Orbit?" Roman questions, they ignored him.
"We need help. Otherwise, we have no chance," Mia says, looking at Valerie who she knew had contacts.
"We do it ourselves," Dom interrupts from the top of the stairs, Letty with him. "It's where we've been that got us this far."
"No. No, no, no, no, no. Do y'all not understand? Clearly, y'all don't. Because if you did, you'd be pissing your pants like a normal person. Orbit. That's outer space. That's another level." Roman points out the obvious. Val cleared her throat, "I can't believe I'm agreeing with Roman. But he's right. That is bloody impossible let alone it's fucking insane." Roman points at her, "See! Valerie agrees and she has done some next level shit. What we gonna do? Hijack a space shuttle? Put rockets on our backs?"
"That's exactly what we're gonna do."
"You lot are fucking crazy. Is it too late to take back my family invitation?" Val asks, getting a few chuckles.
Dom gets more serious as he turns to Val. "Val, we're gonna need some cars."
Valerie smirks, "I got you."
โผ โผ โผ โผ โผ
"Welcome to my playhouse." Val clicks a button on her phone that caused the garage door to open. There were cars all lined up and stacked, some of them getting worked on by employees even. Dom, Letty, Han, Mia, and Ramsey all looked at the place in shock. "I wish Tej and Roman could see this place," Ramsey breaths out. They followed Valerie inside, looking at all the cars.
"Why hello, my dear assassin sister," Selena Santina says as she makes her way over, a lollipop in her mouth. Valerie smiles, embracing the younger girl. "Did you get what I asked for?" Selena rolls her eyes and nods, grabbing a duffle bag off the table and passing it to her sister. "And I sent a very confused Austin to Tej and Roman like you asked."
Val smiles again, "thank you sweets."
Selena clears her throat, getting a small eye roll from Val. "Guys," the crew turns to her, "this is my little sister Selena. Selena, this is the crew, minus Tej and Roman." Selena looked at Han with a small smile, obviously remembering who he was. The guys exchange a nod with her but Letty, Mia and Ramsey all went to shake her hand kindly.
"Okay, let's lay down some rules. Whichever car you chose, go to Selena and she will get you the keys. If you need any extra shit for the car, go to her as well. Now I'm assuming Dom wants his usual charger, which I happen to have." Selena sets the keys in Valerie's hand and she tosses them to Dom. He smirks, nodding gratefully towards her.
"On you go. Han comes with me." Val said. Val takes another pair of keys as a confused Han follows her. They walk all the way to the back in silence, coming straight to the orange and black car designed just for him. "You always said these were your favorite colors," she shrugs, tossing him the keys.
Han smiles faintly at the car, running his hand over the hood. He turns to her before she can leave. "Is it true you're married now?" He couldn't help but ask. Val glances down, clearing her throat, she looks at him, "Yes. And if you're guessing the man I think you are, that's another yes. But don't expect an apology of any sort. I wasn't the Shaw who tried to kill you. I'm not sorry for staying with him. Enjoy the car. If you need anything, ask Sel."
Val turns and walks towards her own car, hopping inside it and driving towards the front where the rest of the crew were. An hour goes by, everyone was installing the large magnetic device into their car, minus Val of course. Han walks over to Val who was fixing up her car. "Selena said you have kids now. That's, crazy to think," he spoke, leaning against the car.
Val smiles at the mention of her kids, always filled with joy thinking about them. "Yes, twins actually. They're the reason I'm much nicer if I'm being honest." Val said, wiping the oil from her hands. "What's their names?" He asks, handing her the socket wrench. "Adelisa Marie Shaw and Nikolas Han Shaw."
Han furrows his brows for a mere second before he smiled. "You named your kid after me?" Val chuckles at the question, "I had to find some way to keep you in my life, Han. You were much more than an ex boyfriend to me. You were my bestfriend." Han looks down in thought, and he couldn't help but wonder how Shaw took that. "How did the husband react to that?"
Val smiles softly, "it was actually his idea."
Before Han could even process that information, Selena was already calling him over. "You better hurry up. Sel doesn't have very good patience," Val jokes.

"Val we got a problem! Cipher isn't there! She's right here!" Ramsey shouts through the coms. Valerie couldn't help but roll her eyes as she drove to a large undisclosed location. "It's fine. I'll deal with it," Val smirks, knowing Cipher wasn't stupid enough to actually go there in person. She parks the car inside the open building and steps out, cocking her gun. She smirks to herself seeing the machine Cipher was in that connected her to some kind of drone.
She climbed up the steps slowly when the machine shut off. The machine opened and Cipher sighed seeing Valerie and gun pointed at her head. "Didn't expect me did you?"
"How'd you find me?" Cipher slowly asks, looking around for a solution out of this mess. "Uh uh, eyes on me. Get out, slowly," Valerie orders, backing up slightly for Cipher to climb out. Only just as she does, she suddenly kicks the gun out of Valerie's hand and kicks her stomach, sending Val tumbling down the metal steps. Val groans and grabs the fallen gun as Cipher makes a run to Valerie's car. She quickly shoots Cipher in the leg, causing her to fall with a pained yell.
"You must love getting shot, huh? Cause it appears this is the, what? Second time I shot you?" Val walks towards her with a chuckle.
"If you knew how to aim properly, you wouldn't have to keep shooting me," Cipher replies with an eye roll.
"Oh please, if I wanted to kill you already I would've done it. You think I give a shit about you? I could've found you easily if I wanted to. But I chose not to. Cause I have a family now, and that is my main priority. Not some blonde bimbo that has a vendetta against my family. Though I'm sure you know that already." Val leaned down in front of her and pulled down Cipher's shirt, showing the bullet wound in the shoulder she gave her a while back.
"But, you sent people after my children! For what reason? I have yet to figure out but I don't care." Valerie stands back up and kicks Cipher across the face with her heel. "You made the mistake of thinking you could mess with me again and get away with it scot free." She says, pointing the gun down at Cipher's head. The blonde slowly looks up at her, holding her bloody lip, she smirks. "And you made the mistake of coming alone."
"Did she now?" Another voice speaks, shutting his car door. Cipher's eyes widen at his presence. Val rolls her eyes at Deckard, "I have this handled, Deck." He rolls his eyes at her and pulls out his gun, "You can never be sure when it comes to her," he shrugs.
Val goes to speak until she spots the twins in Deckard's car, peeking out from the backseat. She looks to her husband with raised brows, "You brought the kids? Seriously? What kind of parenting is that?"
"Don't act so perfect. I'm not the one who brought them halfway across the world to fight some battle that wasn't mine," he points out. "He makes a good point," Cipher chips in. "Shut your mouth!" They both snap at her simultaneously.
Val sighs, rubbing her forehead and Deckard looks down at Cipher and back to his wife, "So, your call. What do you wanna do with her?"
Val licks her lips and glances at the twins, then back to Cipher, she let's out a tired sigh. "Go." Cipher looks at her in confusion, "You're just gonna let me go? Just like that? After everything?" Cipher was completely astonished by this, expecting Valerie to torture her or just shoot her in the head without another thought.
"You're not worth it. And my kids don't need to see their parents like this. So just go. You're free. Hell, take my car. Hurry on before I change my mind." Cipher slowly stands and Val tosses her keys into her hands. Cipher goes to walk until Val grabs her collar and pulls her closer, "but let me warn you. If you ever come near my family, or my children again, I will do unspeakable things to you. Now get the fuck out of my life."
Cipher backs up and walks towards Valerie's car and drives away hurriedly. "You put a tracking device in the car, didn't you?" Deckard asks, wrapping his arm around her waist as they walk towards his car.
"It's worth a shot. Locke should have some fun trying to track her down," Val shrugs with a smile. Deckard raised a brow, "I don't know. I still don't trust that guy. Seems suspicious." Val scoffs, "You don't trust anyone."
"That's not true. I trust you," Deckard argues, opening the car door for her. "If you did, you wouldn't have come here." She points out.
"Good point. But most of the time, I do." Val chuckles and hops into the car, turning around and smothering the twins with hugs and kisses. "Ugh I missed you babies so much!"
"I'm hungry!" Nikolas whines.
Val smirks, glancing back at her children as Deckard drove off. "How do you feel about barbecue?"
