Personality: Around others, Cat is bright and energetic. Confident and kind, she'll do just about anything to make her fans happy. She seems to love attention, but doesn't beg for it. Alone or around people she knows well she's quiet and withdrawn. She doesn't speak much unless spoken to, and is often seen with a paintbrush in hand.

Backstory: (TW) Cat was born on February 14, 1956 to Joseph and Carrie Hart. The fifth of eleven children, she was the middle child. However, se stood out among her siblings. She had an incredible voice. Even at a young age, she could sing better than most. She also had a connection with animals, especially the collie named Lassie her family had.

When she was seven, she started singing in her church choir. Every day she was complimented on her voice. But she didn't really like singing. She preferred painting. But her family wouldn't let such a talent go to waste. So she kept singing.

In 1972, when she was sixteen, she slept with her father's boss to try and get him a promotion. Only Cat's parents and the boss himself knew about this. She ended up pregnant, the baby being born on September 22 of that year. The baby's father, Luke Walker, named her Feather. But Feather was raised as Cat's sister, so as not to bring disgrace to the family.

In '73, she started a band with her older sister, Ava, her younger sister, Mia, her best friend, Shelly Mitchell, and Shelly's sister, Candice "Candy" Mitchell. They called themselves 'Cat and the Hearts'. Cat was the lead singer, Ava was the bass player and lyricist, Shelly was the drummer and wrote the music, and Mia and Candy were the guitarists. At first they were just local girls in a band, but they were soon spotted by a big name in the music industry.

They became big in 1974, with the release of their second album, 'Hearts Know How To Live'. Cat was a star, as her family knew she would be. But she was...unhappy. She would have rather been painting, not up on stage. But she kept singing.

In '75, Shelly and Cat started sort of dating. They slept together, went on dates, but still tried to appear to be heterosexual.

In '76, Cat met a man named Josh McKnight. He was another big star, and Cat's manager implied that together, as a couple, they could get more fame. So they fronted as a couple later that year.

Cat and Josh got married in 1978. They soon had a daughter, Stacy. At first glance, they seemed like a perfect family. But in reality, Josh was abusive, both mentally and physically, to Cat. But she hid what he did, not wanting anyone to know, because if they did, she would seem weak. Instead, she started abusing drugs and alcohol, to try and cope with what was happening.

In 1979, Cat and Josh had another daughter, Kelly. But rumours began to spread that the children weren't his, due to Cat slipping up and mentioning a previous lover from her past. And the abuse grew worse.

The next year, Cat and Josh had another daughter. This one had an...odd...name to say the least. Her name was Chrysanthemum, but everyone called her Chrissy.

Time went on, and Cat's drug problem got worse, as did Josh's abuse. Finally, on June 17, Cat was found dead of a heroin overdose. It is unknown if her death was murder, suicide, or just an accident. The odd thing about it, though, was that she had never used heroin before.
