The barrier had been down for a few months now and life in Auradon couldn't be any better. The people of Auradon were beginning to accept the idea of how things were going to be now while the people of the Isle were adapting to their newfound freedom. The two lands had never been more at peace. New houses and apartment complexes were being built for anyone from the Isle who chose to move to Auradon. And on top of that, the island was being refurbished and upgraded with the latest technology for those who wanted to say. The citizens of the Isle were given many opportunities to find jobs and offer suggestions to King Ben about improvements he could make.
In addition to the citizens of the Isle getting a second chance at life, all the kids from Auradon and the Isle had the option of which school they would like to attend. They could either go to the schools on the Isle that were getting a complete makeover or they could attend the schools in Auradon. Rylee was surprised that just as many students transferred to the schools on the Isle as those who came to Auradon. To help improve the schools of the Isle of the Lost, instructors from Auradon volunteered to go over to Dragon Hall and Serpent Prep to teach a few classes and improve the knowledge of the teachers already stationed there. There are also a few educators from the schools on the Isle who have taken positions in Auradon.
Thanks to everyone who gave their input to the King, everything became how it should be. United.

After a long Tourney practice and a nap to regain her lost energy, Rylee's eyes slowly opened. She stared at the white ceiling above her as a small amount of light shined through the closed curtains. A yawn passed over her lips as she looked over at the other side of the dorm room to find Morgan fast asleep with her phone in her hands. They decided to stay at Auradon Prep to help the new kids get settled and used to the school. It wasn't long before the Fitzherbert girl got to her feet and made her way over to her best friend. Once Rylee was close enough, she carefully took her phone out of her hands and placed it on her nightstand.
Just as she was about to lie back down, a quiet knock cut through the silence of the dorm room followed by the sound of fading footsteps. A small sigh passed over Rylee's lips as she made her way over to the door. She did her best to quietly open it so she didn't wake up Morgan, only to be greeted by nothing but an empty hall. The Fitzherbert girl's eyes scanned the corridor for any sign of a visitor, but all she saw were people going about their day.
Rylee was about to close the door and go back to her nap when she spotted something on the floor near her feet. It was an envelope with her name neatly printed on it along with a single red rose. After looking down the hall one last time, the princess picked up the items from the floor and closed the door. Confusion flowed through her veins as she made her way over to the desk at the end of her bed. Rylee glanced over at Morgan again to make sure she didn't wake her up. Once she saw her friend was still sound asleep, she sat down at her desk and turned on the light before opening the envelope.
Ryles,
It's time to go on another treasure hunt. Follow the clues to lead you to your prize. Good luck, Princess!
Clue #1: This was a symbol that was important in my life but it doesn't define me anymore. Now I've given it a more permanent home for all to see.
-Harry
A small smile formed on Rylee's lips as she folded the note and placed it in the small backpack leaning against her desk. After writing a note to Morgan telling her what was going on, the Fitzherbert girl grabbed her phone and slung the bag over her shoulders. She made sure that she had everything that she needed before walking out of the dorm room.
As she made her way through the halls, Rylee's eyes scanned the students walking around the school. The happiness within the princess did nothing but grow when she saw how well everyone integrated. She always knew that this was how it should've been all along. Rylee barely made it out the front doors of Auradon Prep before coming to a sudden stop after coming to an important realization. She didn't have any way of getting to her destination. Before she could even pull out her phone to call for Jay or Carlos, a blue car pulled up in front of her. Confusion flowed through her veins as she stared at the car before the passenger window rolled down to reveal her smiling siblings.
"Need a lift?" Ruby asks as the sound of the doors unlocking fills my ears.
"What are you doing here?" Rylee questioned her smirking brother after getting into the back seat of his car, "I thought Auradon University's finals were this week."
"I just finished my finals. Ruby called me earlier today and asked if I could help her and your friends out with a scavenger hunt," Elliot explained while turning onto the main road and driving in the direction of the Museum of Cultural History.
It had been ten minutes of them listening to the radio and Elliot telling them about his new girlfriend named Mona Waialiki before the car stopped in front of Rylee's destination. After thanking her siblings for their help and giving them quick hugs, the Fitzherbert girl hopped out of the car before watching them drive off. She kept her eyes glued to the car until it was out of sight before turning around and walking into the museum. Rylee didn't hesitate to head straight to the Villain's Section before finding Captain Hook's hook next to Ursula's shell necklace. Her eyes were quick to land on the envelope taped to the glass that held the pirate captain's prized possession.
Congratulations! You're one step closer to finding your prize!
Clue #2: It's as blue as your eyes and sparkles just as much. It's my home away from home.
Next stop: the beach.

After finding three more clues around Auradon, Rylee found her way back to the school and made her way toward the entrance. She wasn't surprised when she saw a majority of her friends sitting on the steps having inaudible conversations. The Fitzherbert girl shouted out a greeting once she was close enough to them, causing their attention to quickly turn to her. Their eyes instantly met hers before giant smiles appeared on all of their faces.
"How's the scavenger hunt going?" Morgan asked after Robbie slung an arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to his side.
"You guys know about it?" Rylee questioned as her eyes scanned each one of their faces, only for their smiles to grow and them to all let out laughs.
"We helped him," Gabby announced before she and Hanna jumped to their feet and made their way over to the blonde princess. It wasn't until the two of them were standing right in front of Rylee that they exchanged a playful look. Not even a second after that passed when Hanna took a familiar envelope out of her pocket and handed it to the girl in front of her.
Final Clue:
The only place at Auradon Prep where we can't be interrupted. It's quiet and peaceful with a dinner set up.
Rylee's eyes scanned over the clue a few times before looking up at two people sitting on the steps. "The roof?"
"Go see for yourself," Pete told her with a large smile on his face.
It was at that moment when the Fitzherbert girl noticed his and Uma's interlocked fingers. Her eyes stayed glued to their hands for what felt like an eternity before they moved to meet the Pan boy's gaze. The two of them just stared at each other with no emotion on their faces before Rylee sent him a large smile, one that Pete didn't hesitate to return.
After saying her goodbyes to the large group, Rylee ran past them, just barely catching Gil, Jay, and Carlos shouting for me to have fun. She sprinted toward the back of the school where there was a ladder that led to the roof. The Fitzherbert girl quickly climbs up while forcing herself not to look down in an attempt to ignore the height. When she finally reached the roof, her attention landed on a table sitting in the center with all of her favorite food. Her eyes scanned over the blanket and pillows on the ground a few feet away before turning toward the grinning boy walking toward me.
"Took you long enough," Harry teased before pulling the princess in for a hug.
"If you would have told me where to meet you, I would've been here a lot sooner," Rylee retaliated as the two of them stared at each other with happiness in their eyes.
"True, but where's the fun in that?"
The princess playfully rolled her eyes at the pirate, earning a loud laugh from him. It wasn't long after that when he took her hand into his and escorted her to the table. They soon began to eat the large amount of food set up for them while talking about anything and everything they could think of. As soon as they finished their feast, the couple made their way over to the blanket and lay down side by side. They looked up at the stars in the night sky without a care in the world.
"This is amazing, Harry," Rylee said as she looked over at the boy next to her, only to find the pirate already staring back at her with a large smile on his face, "how did you come up with all of this?"
"Well, I've never really stargazed before. Never could see the sky through that dark cloud back on the Isle," Harry answered while wrapping his arm around the princess' shoulders and pulling me closer to his side, "then Gil told me that he and Jay saw a bunch of twinkling lights in the sky on one of their adventures. Sounded amazing. Guess he was right...for once."
A small laugh passed over Rylee's lips as she rested her head on his chest. Her eyes soon returned to the stare above them, reminding her of the Lantern Festival that Corona held every year. It wasn't long before a shooting star passed over them, causing the smile on the Fitzherbert girl's face to grow. The couple stayed like that for what felt like an eternity, watching the beautiful scene above them. Harry soon sat up and looked down at Rylee with a large grin on his face and nothing but joy in his eyes.
"Thank you for giving me a second chance, even though I definitely didn't deserve it," the son of Captain Hook whispered just loud enough for Rylee to hear.
"You don't need to thank me, Harry," the daughter of Rapunzel and Eugene responded as she sat up and took Harry's hand into her own. He simply studied her for a moment before Rylee gave his hand a small squeeze. "Everyone deserves a second chance. No one can see the light on the first try."
The smile on her pirate's face did nothing but grow before he leaned forward and placed a gentle kiss on his princess' lips.
