Just as Yeonjun put the last clean glass in its cupboard there was a knock at the door. Excited, he slammed the cupboard shut and, quite literally, ran the couple of feet over to the hall and front door.

He was 99% sure it was Soobin, because, I mean, who else would come knocking at their door at 6pm? With a smile on his face, he opened the door. And, of course, standing on the other side, with that oh-so adorable smile and those oh-so adorable dimples, was no other than Choi Soobin.

“Hi”

“Hi”

The two just stood there and stared at each other for a few seconds, until Soobin realised how incredibly weird it was. “Uh… can I come in?”

“Oh, right! Of course!” Yeonjun stepped to the side, closing the door after the other had stepped inside, “Arin’s upstairs… I think Seunghee, Yubin and her are studying?”

“Ah… nice! So.. should we do something then?” Soobin asked as he placed his bag and backpack on the floor.

“Yeah!”

Soobin tied up his shoes, took them off and neatly placed them at the top of the shoe pile. One of them fell down to the side. Yeonjun let out a small chuckle, and when Soobin looked up at him, he put his hands up.

"I just think its funny you always try to put you shoes oh-so neatly on top of it! Like, they always fall down put you still always try!"

It's really cute.

"It is pretty funny, yeah" Soobin smiled, giggled as he took off his jacket.

He's really cute.

"Well, uh, how about we… make something to, like, eat and then we watch something?" Yeonjun said as he started to walk back to the kitchen.

"Oh, yes!” Soobin followed him into the kitchen, “What should we watch then? And what should we make?”

“You mean what should I make while you sit by the counter and watch? Because god knows you should never be allowed to make food on your own”

Soobin felt his face flush red as he looked down at the floor, “The fact that that's true physically hurts me"

Yeonjun laughed as he opened up the same cupboard he'd slammed shut minutes earlier, reaching for a stack of bowls while he replied. "Let's not forget when you managed to burn that whole bag of popcorn, literally all you had to do was follow the instructions."

"Well, in my defense, the instructions were unclear!"

"It literally says like… 'microwave for 2 minutes on medium heat setting', how is that unclear?"

"Shut up!" Soobin laughed.

"Okay, okay! New topic of
conversation, can you get the flour?" He pointed to a drawer next to Soobin as he spoke, to which Soobin nodded.

"What are you even making?"

"We're making a chocolate cake!"

"Oh? Fun!"

"And very tasty!"

Yeonjun had started mixing together the dry ingredients in one of the bigger bowls he'd taken down. The other was watching from the kitchen island where he'd sat back down after handing over the flour.

"Hey, Binnie, come over here!"

"What?" Soobin, who'd zooned out apperantly, blinked and turned his neck slightly before making eye contact with Yeonjun.

"I said come over here, you can help with the mixing!"

"Oh?" Soobin got up from his seat and walked over to where Yeonjun stood. "But am I not the one who's banned from the handling of food?"

"Well… I guess it's okay this time, special occasion you know?" Yeonjun said as he handed over an egg carton to Soobin, "Plus, you have adult supervision!"

"Adult supervision? I should throw an egg on you for that."

Yeonjun watched in horror as the other picked up an egg from the carton, closed one eye and aimed for his head… only for him to laugh and crack it on the side of the bowl.
