Today, Dream woke up around six in the morning, and was happier than she'd ever been. Like, from the moment she opened her eyes, she felt like running around this entire resort so that everyone else could see how happy she was, too.

Not to mention, she woke up in an presidential suite in the beautiful St. Thomas. On top of that, yesterday's flight was her first time being on a plane, so this experience was just all the more better for her. She loved 'first times', and loved doing it with the people she loved.

The hotel that they were staying in was an upscale beachfront resort with a spa and four restaurants, all on-sight. From the balcony in their room, the Sapphire Beach could be seen, and the view kind of reminded Dream of the movie, Moana.

She could admit that St. Thomas was a little more modern than she'd expected. Nonetheless, she wasn't complaining! She would make sure this week would be perfect for Kentrell, because that's what he deserved.

"Good morning papa. It's time to wake up. We have stuff to do." She wrapped her arms around his neck, smiling at the way that he immediately threw his arm over his eyes to block out the sunlight.

"Happy birthday eve stink." She kissed all over his face, and he chuckled, moving his hand down to hold her waist, beginning to wake all the way up.

"Thank you. Get up, let me go to the bathroom." His voice rasped, and she lifted from the top of him, keeping her eyes on him as he slowly stood up.

Kentrell put his hands in the air while stretching his body out, releasing a deep groan at the same time. Then, he looked over at Dream, who was staring at him like some sort of proud mother, making him smile.

"You corny as fuck." He shook his head, and she laughed, gesturing him towards the bathroom. She was ready to get the day started; it felt like they were already wasting time and it was only seven.

Dream climbed on top of Von next, moving his long dreads out of his face to get a look at him. She repeatedly kissed his plump lips, and didn't say anything, just waiting for him to wake up from her presence.

"What if I just bite you? Because I know you feel my kisses and you aren't kissing me back." She frowned, and he smiled, showing off his diamond grills even though his eyes were still closed.

"See, you asshole. I knew you were awake." She lifted herself up, and held his strong arms, pulling him up with as much strength as she could.

"Why you wake him up calling him cute shit like stink and papa, but I get called ah' asshole?" He chuckled, and she did as well, rolling her eyes.

"It's not your birthday, now is it? Get up. We have to go eat breakfast and we're wasting time." She ushered him up, and he shook his head at her, but stood up anyways.

Dayvon greeted her with a forehead kiss, and she smiled, pulling him towards the bathroom where Kentrell was. She was happy that they were finally up, because she'd been waiting on them since six this morning.

"Y'all don't have to put any real clothes on right now. We're just going for breakfast. Later though, we're going on a hike in the mountains. So, plan your outfits now, but don't put them on, okay?" She picked up the towel she'd stepped out on when she had taken a shower, throwing it in a bin that housekeeping would clear out.

"Yes mom." They said together, then smacked their lips at how in sync they were while Dream laughed.

Then, she left out of the bathroom, sitting on the bed to wait patiently for them to come out, but mostly Kentrell. She was so excited for his birthday as if the day was about her. She just wanted to make it good for him, especially after hearing why he specifically didn't like his birthday.

He was such a sweet person, even with being a little rough around the edges. The way that he took care of those around him wasn't appreciated enough, and he deserved way more. Dream hoped that he would have fun on this trip, and genuinely enjoy himself instead of forcing the enjoyment just because that was the reaction she wanted.

"Here, come and sit." She grabbed his hand as soon as he walked out of the bathroom, and he chuckled, letting her lead him over to the bed.

While he waited there, she left out of the bedroom with Von, going to grab the gifts that they were going to give him today. Von loved how excited she was, it was as if making other people happy is what kept her happy.

"Okay, close your eyes Kentrell." She said from the hallway, and she could hear him laugh from the bedroom, but he closed his eyes anyways.

"Stop laughing at me." She chuckled, mushing Von's head away from her while he smiled. She was too adorable.

Dream led him back in the room, and he stood in front of Kentrell like she'd instructed him to, and tapped his left shoulder.

"You gay as fuck." Kentrell's face broke out into an amusing smile, seeing Dayvon holding a bouquet of dark green roses, his favorite color.

"Shut yo' ass up or I'ma take 'em back." He leaned his head down to kiss his cheek, and Kentrell chuckled, taking the roses from him.

"Why are y'all so cute but so aggressive? Geeeez." Dream sat beside him on the bed, earning a laugh from both of them.

"What you get me mama?" Kentrell held his roses in his left hand, noticing that Dream was holding something behind her back.

"First, read my card." She pulled one hand from behind her back, holding out a card that had pictures of the three of them printed all over it, making his smile stretch further across his face.

When he opened it, he pretended like he didn't see a bunch of cash fall from it, making Von laugh at the obviously purposeful unawareness. Kentrell ignored the money, lifting up the card to read it better.

"Pussy. You bet not cry either." Von smirked, and Kentrell reached over to punch his chest, making him laugh.

"Thank you fat ma. I love you too." He wrapped his arms around her in a hug after hitting Von again, and Dream laughed at how quickly he softened himself up for her.

"Look what I got for you. And, I spent my own money, so, yup." She held out a velvet box to him, and he could see the stitching of 'Shyne Jewelers' sewed on to it, his personal jeweler, making his eyebrows raise.

"Shit. You ballin' like that?" He smirked, and she smacked her lips, making him laugh.

When he opened up the box, his laughs slowly ceased, seeing a large, silver, fully iced out pendant with a photo of a younger him and his grandma inside of it. He hadn't seen this picture in years.

Engraved on the cuban chain that the pendant was clipped to was 'Alice Avayah Gaulden', and then the exact same '4L' symbol that was tattooed on the side of his neck. The chain was heavy, and he knew this costed well over one hundred thousand dollars.

Kentrell let the box rest on his lap, and used his left hand to cover his face. This time, neither Von nor Dream laughed, watching as he stood from the bed, walking towards the bathroom.

There was nothing else that he hated more than crying, but his Grandma Alice was a genuinely sensitive subject for him. Something as simple of a picture of her could have him bawling like a baby.

When he was younger, his mother would often kick him out after choosing drugs or men over him. Every time it happened, he'd walk at least six miles to his grandma's house, and even though she called him crazy for doing it, she welcomed him with open arms every time.

She gave him whatever his little heart desired. If she could afford it, he had it, and she made sure of that. They had the type of bond where the love could be felt between them, even from strangers. Alice was so in love with her grand-baby. He was one of the purest souls to her, even after he'd gotten caught up in the streets.

Before Dayvon and Dream, he'd never felt that same type of love from anyone else. His grandma was truly one of a kind, and he felt that it was so unfair that she was taken away from him before he could repay her for all that she'd ever done for him.

To him, there was no reason for her to have died of 'natural causes'. She did everything right. She took care of the people around her, studied her Bible every night, went to church every Sunday and Wednesday, and gave back to her community whenever she could.

He just didn't understand how God could take Alice away from him when she literally lived and breathed His Word. Even now, ten years later, he couldn't fathom the thought that she was actually gone.

"You okay papa?" Dream knocked on the bathroom door, and he sniffed, running his hand down his face to dry his tears.

His honey brown eyes were now stained a deep red, and his naturally long eyelashes were wet and stuck together. It was evident all in his expression that he was crying, and he hated that. Crying was so weak to him. It didn't fix anything so there was no use in doing it.

Crying wouldn't give him his grandmother back.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry." She said from the doorway after giving herself permission to go inside, and he gestured her to come all the way in.

When she neared him, he wrapped his arms around her in a warm bear hug, and Dream couldn't even hug him back since he had her arms pinned to her sides.

"I lied, by the way. Von paid for most of it, but it's the thought that counts since it was my idea. So I get credit for it." She joked to lighten up the mood, and he laughed, making her smile return to her face.

"No seriously though, why are chains so expensive? That was almost $130,000. That's an entire house in Texas. Or maybe, Wyoming." She was finally able to hug him back, and Kentrell's smile grew even bigger.

"I love you so much. You got my whole heart mama. I mean that shit." He kissed her forehead, so obsessed with the feeling of her body against his.

"I love you more. She's proud of you, do you know that? She raised you so well baby. Even with all that you went through, you're still so perfect." She held his face, using her thumb to wipe his tears that were still falling.

Kentrell laid his face in the crook of her neck, and she held his body close to hers, letting him silently cry on her skin. He literally loved the air she breathed.

After a few minutes he was able to get himself together, trying not to get so worked up again. He honestly needed to hear that, because often times he felt like a failure. All he wanted to do was make Alice proud. He wouldn't be anything without her.

"I don't wanna talk about this no more. That's okay?" He looked down at her with his red eyes, and she nodded her head.

"That's okay." She repeated, and his eyes fluttered closed for a moment as her lips softly pressed against his in a kiss.

"Go put your gifts up. I'ma go get Midnight's harness on so that we can go eat breakfast." She kissed him again, and he nodded, finally letting her go.

They walked out together, but went in opposite directions of their suite. As he put his gifts back on the dresser, he could see Dayvon out on the balcony with a blunt between his fingers.

Heading out there, Kentrell slid the door closed behind him, and made his way to stand on the side of him. Noticing his presence, Dayvon turned his head, a small frown on his face at Kentrell's red eyes.

He wrapped his arms around him, and Kentrell laid his head on his shoulder, hugging him back. Kentrell didn't know what he would ever do without him and Dream. They meant everything to him.

"Thank you." Kentrell mumbled after a few seconds of them just holding each other, leaving a kiss on his chiseled jaw line.

"That wasn't shit. You can have all my money if you want it. You gon' have to ask Nana though." He told him, and Kentrell chuckled, shaking his head.

"Not for paying for them gifts. Just for being here, and for giving me a chance. I ain't used to this shit. I don't wanna fuck up." Kentrell rubbed his side, hesitantly meeting his gaze.

"You won't. She made for us, ain't no fucking up when it come to ha'. And, you know I'm always here for you. It's been that since day one. I got yo' back shordy," Von kissed his cheek, chuckling once Kentrell hugged him tighter.

"I don't know what the fuck my dumbass did to deserve y'all." He mumbled, actually in disbelief with how blessed he was.

"Me either to be honest, 'cause I got the best dick in the world and don't nobody deserve that shit foreal." Dayvon shrugged his shoulders, and busted out laughing when Kentrell pushed him away from him.

"Don't nobody want that lil' shit except Nana. Get on." Kentrell waved him off, opening the sliding door to go back inside.

"Oh so my dick little? The way you be running I can't tell."

"And you don't do the same? Be reaching back tryna stop me and shit." Kentrell retorted, and Von's jaw dropped in a manner to be dramatic, making Kentrell laugh.

"Bitch quit fucking lying, you ain't never hit me from the back in yo' life. You gay fuck." He shook his head as he brushed past him, causing him to laugh harder.

"Kentrell, you be getting backshots?" Dream asked in surprise from the couch, and his laughs stopped, while Von's started.

"Sure do. He be calling me da-,"

"Bitch die in hea' if you want to." Kentrell shot him a glare, and Von smiled, holding his hands up in surrender.

"That's so not fair. Y'all never do anything besides kiss in front of me. I wanna see some," She made a gesture with her fingers, and both of their eyes widened, making her laugh.

"Who the fuck taught you that?" Kentrell frowned, and she amusingly shrugged her shoulders. She might've done some research on her own.

"Anyways, back to what I was saying. I wanna see something too." She gestured them to walk out of the room first, and then closed the door once they were all out.

"That be him ma. He scared to show you how I be giving that shit to him. I be like," Von held his hands out while pretending to fuck the air, making Dream laugh again.

Kentrell shook his head, holding his arm out to keep the elevator opened until they were all aboard, then removed it, watching as the doors shut.

"So that's why you got a lil' sweetness to ya', huh?" Dream leaned against the wall with a smirk on her face, and Kentrell smacked his lips.

"Don't let him lie to you. I den' fucked him more times than he fucked me. I ain't scared of shit."

"It don't matter how many times you did what. I had yo' ass in the air last time, ain't I? Oh okay then." Von smirked as well, and Kentrell cracked a smile once Dream's jaw dropped.

Kentrell didn't even know how or what to respond an insult of that sort, so he just stood there, causing all three of them to eventually laugh.

Dream took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves because she felt like crying. Blocking out her conscious, she ran forwards, screaming once she jumped off of the cliff.

She hit the water a few seconds later, and the impact caught her off guard, but she swam back to the top, laughing as she came up. Her hair was all over her face, but soon, she felt hands move it out of the way for her.

"That was so fun!" She laughed, holding around Von's neck in the water as his arms slid around her waist, smiling at how happy she looked.

"Yo' ass almost died. Think I'ma jump up off that bitch? Hell nah." Kentrell frowned from the small sandy shore, and she laughed again, swimming out of Von's grip.

The three of them had just finished a two mile hike, and at the top of it was a swimming area that they could've just drove to-but Dream wanted them to experience all of the nature with her.

Kentrell and Dayvon had to stop plenty of times because they were acting as if they were so tired, and they ended up being left behind by their tourist group. Luckily, Dream knew how to read maps and trek a path, so they made it to the finish line with ease.

At the end of the hike, there was a clear lake underneath a cliff that was only five feet deep-which Dream had just jumped off of, and was trying to convince her boyfriends to do the same. Even though they couldn't swim, they'd be able to stand up in the water since it wasn't deep. Then, the cliff wasn't even super high, so she didn't know why they were acting so scared.

"If y'all jump off, I'll let y'all do whatever y'all want to me. I swear." She pulled her bikini panties out of her ass, a smile resting on her face.

"On god I'm on that." Von came out of the water, pulling his swim shorts up further while Kentrell rose an eyebrow out of curiosity.

"What you mean, whatever I want?" He tilted his head to the side, and Dream laughed at the expression on his face.

"Exactly what I said. Just jump off one time, c'mon, I'll do it with y'all. Midnight, c'mon pooh." Her big smile remained as she ran back towards the hill that led to the cliff, Midnight hot on her trail.

Kentrell and Dayvon looked at each other, trying to decide if her ultimatum would be worth it. That cliff was big as hell-to them, at least-and neither of them could technically swim. But Dream's offer was very convincing.

"Come on!" She waved them over again, and then laughed once more as both of them ran towards her, low-key racing each other.

Dream held her hands out as if she was a referee, cheering them on as both of their naturally athletic bodies sprinted up the hill, while Midnight ran circles around both of them.

"Yay!" She busted out laughing as both of them sped past her, laughing as well. This was the most fun they'd ever had, and they hadn't done anything but race up a hill.

"Shit. This nigga fast as fuck." Dayvon breathed out, his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath. Though he worked out, Kentrell was just built for running. His long legs could carry him far. Plus, he'd been running from the police his whole life.

"This pussy my motivation." He grabbed Dream by her bikini area, and she laughed, putting her hand over his.

"On god. Nana, when you said whatever, I hope you know I'm on that ass like white on rice." Dayvon smirked, and it seemed like Dream just couldn't stop laughing. She was having so much fun.

"Okay, that's fine. On three, jump, okay?" She held Midnight's harness so that he'd jump too, and Kentrell laughed at how eager he looked.

"One, two, three!"

I have so many drafts that I scrapped. I really don't be liking the same repetitive plot and that's so aggravating to me 😭 Y'all more than likely won't get another book til next year fr
