personality.   nevaeh is pretty much an open book. when it comes to her, there's no mysteries or anything of that sort that need to be solved. she's an ambivert, meaning she has just the perfect balance of introvert & extrovert. she's extroverted in the way that she's willing to approach absolutely anybody but introverted in the way that she's not a big fan of social gatherings and would rather be alone most of the time. as odd as it sounds, many people she's met have told her there's a familiar feeling to her, and she's easy to confide in almost instantly. 
nevaeh has never been a fan of her own personality — so most of who she is she gets from people she currently knows or used to know. she picks out the traits she likes most about that person and forces herself to develop them to make herself seem better — but nobody knows that, of course. while there are many good traits that come with nevaeh, there are also many bad ones, a whole different side of her that she chooses to hide.

backstory.   nevaeh had a pretty casual upbringing. both parents remained in her life and they treated her well. she originally lived in canada before moving to america at the age of ten because of a baseball scholarship her older brother got. her parents wanted to move to support him. ever since the move, things became a bit different. her parents became more occupied with her brother and suddenly it was almost like they had forgotten all about her.
at 12, nevaeh was diagnosed with depression due to the neglect she'd faced the past two years. at thirteen, she began attending therapy. it didn't do much. fast forward to 15, present time. she still didn't have the greatest relationship with them but accepted the fact that things weren't going to change much.

how did oc meet love interest. one day, nevaeh and her family went bowling and stanley just so happened to be working that night. she couldn't take her eyes off him, and for weeks after that night, she'd lie about where she was going so she could go bowling. everybody knew she wasn't a bowling fan though, it was just so she could get to know stan. she stopped going when she finally found out they went to the same school. she'd seriously never seen him around before.

relationship with love interest. stanley and neveah are the bestest of friends. their friendship is...weird, to say the least. they have absolutely no filter around each other. they tell each other things probably nobody needs to know, but that's just who they are. they're attached at the hip — if you see one of them, you'll for sure be seeing the other. some of their best memories are made while smoking — which, by the way, stanley got her into. she's been into him for quite a while now. they often do act like a couple rather than friends — they've even kissed, but she's still unaware if all of that is platonic or not.
