Chapter X
Matsuda smiled brightly, turning to look at the male who had spoken, quickly going over and hugged the older male.
"Hi Daddy!" Matsuda exclaims, earning a chuckle from the other as he hugged back.
"Hey Kiddo. How was your first day of school?" Dabi asks curiously as he pulls away and starts walking with his daughter.
"Really good! I made a friend today! His name is Shimazaki! He's kind of hotheaded!" The young girl explains with a giggle. "Oh! I also made friends with a girl named Tasaka and another boy named Hagisaki! They're nice! But Tasaka and Shimazaki don't like each other much!"
"Really. Interesting. Think they can get along well? Like work together?" Dabi asks curiously with a small hum.
"No, not right now! They're like water and oil!" Matsuda explains. "Is Mama home?"
"Yeah, Uncle Shigaraki hasn't sent me or your Mama out on a mission yet," Dabi says as they approach the League of Villains' base.
"Good! Do I have to tell Uncle Shigaraki what happened today?" Matsuda asks curiously as she looks up at her father who shakes his head.
"No, I'll tell him. You find out any of your ftiends' quirks?" Dabi asked as he opened the door, a feeling of pride welling up in him when Matsuda nodded.
"Yeah! Shimazaki has the same quirk as Ground Zero, Hagisaki has the same quirk as the Pro Hero, Midnight, and Tasaka's quirk was called Mud! Using the vines around her arms, she can make the ground turn into mud, no matter what type of ground it is!" The young girl explains. "I don't think but works on people but she can probably use her vines to grab people!"
"Alright, that's all I need to know. I'll tell your uncle. You go play in your room," Dabi says with a nod. "But don't forget to say hi to your mama."
At first, Matsuda began to make a beeline for her room. But at the mention of her mother, she quickly backtracked and went to her mother's room with a bright smile. Matsuda didn't even have to announce herself before she was engulfed in a hug from Toga.
"Matsuda! How was your first day of school, sweetie?" Toga asks curiously with a grin, Matsuda matching said grin.
"It went good! I made three new friends!" Matsuda exclaims happily. "Their names are Shimazaki, Tasaka, and Hagisaki!"
"That's nice! It's good you made friends! But remember why you're there, sweetie!" Toga says, Matsuda nodding as her smile never faltered.
"Don't worry, I won't forget, mama!"

"She found out all that today?" Kurogiri asks Dabi curiously as he stood behind the bar as usual while Dabi and Shigaraki sat in front of him on the bar stools.
"Yeah. Told you she'd be fine if she went to UA. She's already beginning to blend in and get information effortlessly," Dabi says, admittedly proud of his daughter.
"I guess we'll have to start trusting you a bit more, ash tray," Shigaraki says with a small hum.
"Exactly. Oi, Kurogiri. Where's your daughter, Miuchi?" Dabi asks curiously, raising an eyebrow. "Matsuda and Miuchi both go to UA so shouldn't they have come back together?"
"Well remember, Miuchi is going to UA to genuinely become a hero. Perhaps she's trying to avoid coming home for a little longer," Kurogiri suggests though he was genuinely worried about where she might be.
"Especially if she's going against everything we stand for," Shigaraki says, clicking his tongue in annoyance before the front door slowly opens and a female with black hair and purple eyes walks in. "Speaking of the devil."
"Welcome home, Miuchi," Kurogiri says calmly, Miuchi jumping a bit before she waves shyly at the group. "How was school?"
"Well. I have homework to do," Miuchi says quickly before she quickly makes her way to her room without another word.
"Can't tell if she was trying to avoid you or if she was disrespecting you," Dabi says with a small hum.
"Either way, it's fine. I'm well aware she knows her place," Kurogiri says calmly, not fazed by the short interaction. "It'll be interesting when we attack UA again with our daughters there."
"Matsuda shouldn't be too much of a problem. She knows why she's there and she's sly like her mother. She won't get in our way," Dabi assure simply.
He knew his daughter the best after all.
