Oh and btw...
About that milkshake place...

–––

"Hyung this place really is amazing!" Jimin took another scoop of cream off the top of the banana milkshake and shovelled it into his mouth. He hummed with delight and carried on eating the marshmallows sprinkled on top.

"I thought you'd like it" Yoongi chuckled watching Jimin enjoying his special drink.

On the opposite side of the table, Yoongi sat with a refreshing mango smoothie. It didn't look as Impressive and as big as Jimins milkshake but it still tasted wonderful.

"I'm sorry to call you out again after school" Jimin said finally taking a sip of the milkshake.

Yoongi shook his head. "No it's fine, I'm glad you did"

The table dropped silent as Jimin slowed down with his milkshake. Yoongi noticed a shift in Jimins mood but kept his thoughts to himself. So they sat there until one of them decided to speak again.

"Hyung, do you.." Jimin started suddenly but trailed off. He began again, just quieter. "Do you, uh, talk to people from other classes?"

Yoongi relaxed a bit, that question wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be. He thought for a momrnt before answering. "No not really, why?"

"Oh" Jimin said turning his head to look out the window. Yoongi followed his gaze to see if there was anything interesting but the only thing outside was an empty street. Yoongi frowned, why had Jimin gone so quiet?

"Jiminine what's wrong?"

Jimins attention snapped back to Yoongi, showing a light smile as though nothing had happened. "What? Nothing. Drink up hyung" he said before sealing his mouth around his straw.

Yoongi gave a curt nod before he did as he was told and kept quiet.

Jimin sat there also in silence as he scanned the room, the aim was not to look his hyung in the eyes. For some reason, Jimin found it hard to do so at the moment. He didn't want to believe it but it felt like Yoongi was lying to him.
His eyes landed on he entrance to the shop where another group of customers was coming in. Jimin was all calm until he saw the girl that Yoongi was talking to earlier walk in with at least four other friends.

Act natural, you don't know anything. Act natural.

Jimins body shifted and he pulled his arm up on the table to lean his head on. He focused his eyes on his nearly finished milkshake but he couldn't help but sneak glances every five seconds. The girl, or Chaeyeon, hadn't noticed him or Yoongi yet, thank god, but he felt nervous for when they began picking seats.

The group ordered their drinks first, and a cake between them, before Jimin overheard them choosing a table to sit at. He almost cursed aloud when they decided over a table nearest the back, meaning they had to walk past the two of them first. If they didn't spot that it was Min Yoongi and Park Jimin straight away, they would definitely noticed the school uniforms that were the same as the ones the girls were dressed in.
Yoongi was looking directly at Jimin, slightly concerned after how uneasy he looked. Jimin tried to smile at him for reassurance that he was ok, but maybe it was more for himself.

The girls walked past them, squabbling about some kind of outing they must have been organising. Jimin thought he was safe until he heard the word. "Oppa?" Both Jimin and Yoongi looked up to the side to see Chaeyeon stood next to their table, flashing her eyelashes at Yoongi.

Yoongi eyes widened slightly. He looked to Jimin before he looked back at Chaeyeon.

"A-ah.. Chaeyeon?"

Jimin could heard her friends stop talking about their plans and begin to whisper about the two.

"Chae really is friends with Yoongi Oppa?"

"I thought she was making it up"

"Me too"

"Since when was Jimin friends with Yoongi Oppa?"

"Maybe they're just together by coincidence, I don't Yoongi oppa would really be friends with him"

"Yeah, he's the one that's friends with Kim Taehyung. Even Taehyung is cooler than him."

"Where are his actual friends?"

Jimin turned his head to the window again, feeling like he could cry any moment.

"What are you doing here?" Chaeyeon smiled with her bright tinted lips.

"I came for a drink" Yoongi replied. "That's what this place is for"

Chaeyeon laughed a little, flicking her hair.

"You should come sit with us, and then you can tell my friends what you've been teaching me"

Jimin put his hands in his lap and fiddled with them. He desperately hoped this girl would leave so Jimin could exit the cafe. A lovely meeting with Yoongi had turned horribly uncomfortable. It was true that Yoongi had lied and it saddened him. It pained him to realise that people in his school also thought of him as too unworthy to be friends with Min Yoongi, and maybe that was true. Maybe Jimin knew that from the start he just didn't admit it to himself.

"Sorry" Yoongi said after  minutes of him thinking and turned to Jimin. "We were just about to leave"

"Huh?" Chaeyeon said as Yoongi stood up from his chair. "Oh, ok"

Yoongi noticed Jimin wasn't responding, he sat still in his chair, not wanting to move. So Yoongi walked round to his side, leaned down and grabbed his hand. And before Jimin had time to think about it, Yoongi pulled him up and dragged him out of the cafe.

When the door closed behind them, Jimin expected the older to let go of his hand , however that didn't happen. Although his grip loosened a bit, Yoongi continued walking down the street with his hand wrapped around Jimins. Jimin thought he should tell him to let go, but Jimin was too frustrated that he didn't want to speak to the older right now. So without words, Jimin tried tugging his hands out of the Boys grip.

Yoongi noticed and stopped walking before he let go. "Sorry" he mumbled.

The two stood in silence for a moment. Jimin was more sad than angry, he didn't know why he was this sad. Yoongi felt guilty, he finally understood what Jimins question was about, he had known all along and now Yoongi looked bad for not telling him.

"Is Chaeyeon the one you meant earlier" Yoongi asked, glancing back and fourth from the younger and the pavement.

"What?" Jimin mumbled.

"Do i speak to anyone from other classes?" Yoongi repeated his words. Jimin let out a sigh and nodded.

"Jimin, there's a re–"

"It's fine Hyung" Jimin cut him off. "I don't need to hear the reason why you lied"

He turned to leave, he couldn't wait to leave. Jimin felt terrible, he didn't want to overreact at such a small thing— especially because it was Min Yoongi too— someone which he hadn't known for long at all.

"Jimin" Yoongi repeated his name, hurt in his voice. Jimin felt the boy grip hold of his wrist, stopping him from moving any further.
"Don't walk away, not while I'm trying to explain to you okay?"

When he knew Jimin wasn't going to try and move any further, Yoongi carried on. "I've only spoken to her a few times, around school. She wanted some help with some piano competition she was in. I didn't tell you because I thought you wouldn't find out and I didn't know... didn't know if you'd like it or not." Yoongi let out a chuckle as though he was trying to make the atmosphere less awkward by doing so. "It's probably just me, but I liked that... that room was for you, I didn't want to let anyone else in with me, it was our room."

Jimin slowly turned to Yoongi, his eyes starting to shimmer. He felt kind of dizzy and he wasn't sure why.

When their eyes met, Yoongi loosened his grip and let his hand slide down into The youngers. Their fingers brush together, sending a shivers all over Jimins body and a wave of heat through his arm, spreading to his chest.

"Maybe that was just me" he laughed again, a hint of sadness after Jimin didn't reply. "But that's why I didn't tell you. It was only going to be for a week, I thought I could get away without you knowing. But clearly not.."

Jimin felt more relaxed but somewhat more nervous at the same time. Jimin wasn't really bothered about hearing whatever else Yoongi had to say about Chaeyeon, he was more concerned about the way the older was holding his hand.

His heart was thumping and his body felt warm. Yoongi had held Jimins hand just moments ago, but it felt so much different. Yoongi held his hand so much differently to what he would have thought— not that I've thought about it. He was so delicate and gentle, Jimin felt special from just this one little moment of physical contact.

"It wasn't"

"What?" Yoongi asked.

"It wasn't just you"

Yoongis lips turned up into a small smile. He squeezed Jimins hand slightly. They stood there, holding hands, for a few more minutes before Yoongi asked "am I forgiven?"
The younger tried to hide his smile. "I'll take that as a yes."

Yoongi then leaned closer to Jimin, a wide smile on his lips. "Hey, I have something to show you" he said before he dragged him off once again.
