Forty Four

Before I start the chapter I'd just like to say I'm so sorry for making Sungwoon like this 😭😭😂😅

***

"just a friends house mum" is what Jimin said as he left the house. He ad managed to dodge all his mothers questions about what he was going to and insisted that he walked there. After a while of trying to persuade him to get in the car, as she was more than happy to take him, she eventually gave up and let him do what he wanted.

It was just getting dark as he left and Jimin was more than glad to arrive at the house before it turned pitch black.

After he found the right house using maps on his phone to locate it, Jimin stood at the bottom of the drive way and stared up at the big, well built house. By the looks of it, every room had its lights switched on, the downstairs being obviously where the main party was because although the curtains were closed, coloured lights flashed, turning to the curtains blue, red, green and more. You could even hear the music from outside if you listened closely.

With a deep breath, Jimin walked up to the front door and knocked as loud as he could.

It took a few minutes before someone finally came to the door.

Another boy, who wasnt Sungwoon, answered. He didn't say anything. Jimin watched the boy eye him up and down, head to toe. Suddenly, he felt uncomfortable.

He was about to speak up before Sungwoon appeared from behind, moving the guy out the way. "ah Jimin! so glad to see you!"

"am i late?"

"not at all! you're right on time. come on in!"

Jimin nodded and followed Sungwoon into his house, the random guy who answered closing the door behind them. The music got louder as they walked down the hall and into the living room to where you could walk straight through into the kitchen. It was a bit stuffy, but not too much as it wasn't overcrowded with people. However they were all people he didn't recognise, apart from one or two students he had seen walking around school.

Sungwoon grabbed his wrist and pulled him into the kitchen, instantly finding a bottle to pour a drink with. Jimin swallowed dryly as he watched the boy fill up the cup. He didn't really drink alcohol, he's barely had more than two drinks of it in his lifetime. Jimin was about to ask for another drink when Sungwoon cut him off. "So Jimin, there's a few people i'd like you to meet." He had to speak a bit louder than usual, considering the volume of the music and the amount of other students that were talking.

With that, Sungwoon signals for two boys, who were originally sitting down on opposite sides of the room, to come over. Both looking around Sungwoons age if not younger, Jimin assumes they're his friends he once mentioned about.

"meet Seongwoo and Daniel, guys this is the Jimin I've talked to you about"

Jimin smiled shyly at the boy. One of them patted him on the back.

"Nice to meet ya Jimin"

"You too"

"Right so, now that's over, let's have fun shall we?" Sungwoon shoved the cup full of liquid into Jimins hand, spilling it slightly, and pushed him along until they were back in the living room.

The younger felt the nervousness rise in his stomach again. He didn't really know what he was doing, nor did he feel like he belonged here. He felt so out of place.

Sungwoon hooked his arm around Jimins neck loosely. Jimin held the cup in his hand awkwardly, letting his eyes wonder around the room, watching what other people are doing in attempt to copy them. Then Sungwoon suddenly had a drink in his other hand, which Jimin was sure he stole it from someone else.
Taking a big gulp of the drink, Sungwoon then leant his mouth close to Jimins ear.

"Come on, loosen up" he said before raising the arm Jimin held the cup with to his mouth. "Don't wanna waste it do you, eh?"

Jimin shook his head quietly before he stared down at his drink. It didn't look appetising, slushing around in this flimsy plastic cup.
He didn't even know what it was he was supposed to be drinking.

"Go on, you can do it" Sungwoon urged again.

He couldn't believe he was doing this.

Well, I didn't like the drink I had last time...

But maybe this will be ok?

With a countdown from three, two, one, Jimin lifted up the cup and gulped down the liquid.

***

After Jimin had managed to down the first cup, he expected Sungwoon wouldn't bother him anymore.

But boy was he wrong.

"Jimin! You drink well, you should have some more, yeah?"

Jimin turned to him, he frowned a bit. "I'm okay" he said. The taste wasn't that nice.

"But there's so much more left! Just one more?"

The younger was silly to let himself give in, he knew but there was something about Sungwoon that made him comply with whatever he asked. The bad feeling creeped back into the pit of his stomach as he came back with another drink.

Jimin took sips this time, downing it in one was too much.

God he hated this.

Jimin watched Sungwoon dance next to him, a kind of smirk plastered on his face. "You like to dance?" He asked.

"Uh, sometimes" Jimin muttered despite knowing the background noise was too loud to hear that.

Sungwoon didn't care what he said though, as he pulled Jimin into the centre of the room and began dancing more. Jimin followed the beat and swayed a little. He didn't think the alcohol had kicked in yet though.

"You look good tonight Jimin" Sungwoon has said into his ear, making him shiver.

"T-thanks" Jimin replied. "You do too"

"I'm glad you dolled up" Jimin almost stopped dancing. This felt weird. Was that a compliment? Jimin realised that Sungwoon was probably referring to how he styled his hair and the small bit of eyeshadow he wore.
"Look good, very good"

Jimin decided it was time to excuse himself from the dance floor and quickly returned back to the kitchen where he found Daniel at the counter, pouring himself a drink. He turned to Jimin when spotting him walking his way. "Drink?" Daniel asked.

Jimin simply nodded and took whatever Daniel poured for him.

He wiped his mouth after drinking every last drop. Then he coughed, and frowned at the taste.

Three drinks.

Ok Jimin you've had enough now.

He started to feel it in his head now, which makes Jimin regret taking the offer.

Then a bigger wave of regret swooped over him as he realised he ditched Yoongi for this. This strange party where he only knew one person.

I'm a terrible boyfriend, he thought.

"You're drinking these fast" Daniel laughed. "You want another?"

Jimin frowned and slammed the plastic cup on the counter, making Daniel flinch. "Stop givin' me drinks!"
His words came out a little slurred and man, his head felt weird! Jimin just knew he was annoyed that everyone kept shoving drinks into his hand and he didn't want anymore! He was annoyed that he chose this place instead of cuddling up with his boyfriend!

"Geez sorry" Daniel had said, rather unapologetically. He rolled his eyes and walked off into the crowd somewhere.

Jimin sighed after he left. The alcohol was definitely kicking in by now. He wasn't very good at handling alcohol, so three drinks was more than enough! He was certainly going to feel it tomorrow morning.

He dreaded it.

***

Only an hour later, Jimin was very drunk. He couldn't think straight, see straight or walk straight. But despite being out of his mind, Jimin still wasn't having fun like Sungwoon had promised.

He just wanted to go home now.

Though when Jimin tried to look for Sungwoon, he couldn't find him anywhere. Maybe that was because Jimin was drunk and couldn't walk far enough to check in every room without falling over multiple times, but that wasn't the point. Sungwoon had been around him for the majority of the night. Where was he now?

Jimin stumbled over to the kitchen in hope of finding the boys friends, maybe Daniel was around here somewhere.

"Need something, sugar?"

Jimin jumped when he heard the voice so close it his ear, the vibrations travelling down his spine. Sungwoon.

"Going home" Jimin shouted, it's hard to
Grasp how loud you're speaking when you're drunk.

"What? So soon?"

The younger nodded.

"But isn't it a bit too dark and dangerous for a boy like you to walk home at this hour?"

Jimin tried to process the words. Something about that sentence didn't feel right. "What's that supposed t'mean?"

"I just don't think you should be walking alone in the dark"

"Well, can't you walk me home?" Jimin pouted. "Just wanna go home"

Sungwoon copied Jimins pout and shook his head. "Got guests to tend to baby"

That made him feel sick.

"Don't call me baby" he grumbled.

"Why not? Thought it suited you"

Jimin scoffed and pushed past the older, storming away. Sungwoon was acting extra weird, extra creepy. He didn't want Sungwoon to call him Baby or sugar and he certainly didn't want to stay here any longer.

Whether he was walking alone in the dark or not, he was still going home.

"Jimin! Jimin, hold on a minute will you?" Sungwoon called after the boy as he stormed to the front door. He was about to open it when the older grabbed hold of his arm and tugged him back. It hurt.

Jimin squeaked and clutched hold of his arm. He felt tears prick the corner of his eyes. Can't he just let Jimin go home?

"Look, if you stay a little while longer, I'll walk you home later, sound good?"

The blonde met Sungwoons eyes. He nodded , but mostly just so the older would let go of his arm. That also meant he had agreed to stay here for god knows how much longer.

The boy wrapped his arm around Jimin once more and became urging him towards the stairs. Jimin tried to resist a little to begin with before he gave up.

"Come with Me" he said as he guided Jimin up the stairs, squeezing past all the couples that were making out against the wall.

Sungwoon lead him to a bedroom where he opened the door and pulled the younger inside.
He grabbed hold of Jimins shoulders and moved him to sit down on the bed before he closed the door.

"What's happening?" Jimin asked lowering his voice a fraction. The music was now muffled and it was much more peaceful, not overcrowded, no more drinks, no more flashing lights.

"You can stay in here for a while. Until you go home" Sungwoon said flatly, walking over to close the curtains.

When he walked back over to Jimin, he saw the younger was still holding his arm.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to hurt you"

Jimin avoided his eyes. "S'ok"

It was silent for a while, became awkward and uncomfortable.

"'m tired" Jimin slurred. His eyelids began to feel heavy, his whole body felt heavy actually.

"Then go to sleep, baby"

He groaned. "I already told you, you can't say that!"

"And you never gave me a proper reason, baby"

"Don't like it!" Jimin frowned. "Only Yoongi Hyung can call me that!"

Sungwoon groaned before stepping forward so that he's directly in front of Jimin, who's staring up at him with a scowl on his face. "God, you talk about Yoongi too much"

Then without warning, the older took hold of Jimins cheeks and smashed their lips together.
