" Before we start "

Hi , I'm Maia , and better known as Author-Chan , creator of the other series you might be familiar with such as Starlight Falls , Masked , and Spirit girl.

I'm so excited to share this story with you all , but before you get to chapter one , there are some things I wanna mention real quick so that your reading experience isn't ruined in any way.

1. This series will start with each chapter number in the brackets {} , and the title in Japanese. The title's English translation will be directly underneath it.

2. Please keep in mind that Japanese isn't my native language , and I use Google Translate for anything that's in Japanese. Feel free to correct me in the comments and I'll fix the mistranslation.

3. Announcements , sketches , and other fun extras are in between chapters , resembling the way a Shōnen Jump manga is made. An example is Demon Slayer , with their high school panels. It's actually what inspired me to go for this writing style !

4. Manga images , like the picture above the title , were not made by me. I will give credit to any images that I use for the story.

5. The opening theme , " Moonlight Densetsu " , was made by the incredible creator Naoko Takeuchi , creator of " Sailor Moon " , and all inspiration goes to Hideyasu Takahasi , creator of Kaitou Joker. Moonlight Densetsu was not made for Phantom Thief Miyako , and has nothing to do with it. I just thought it was a good song that matched the theme of Phantom Thief Miyako.

6. The book is divided into seasons , resembling that of an anime. Each season will have its own contained plot , but will serve the bigger narrative of the book.
