Tᙡᗝ
You followed Damien even further away from your home, but your mind was set on enjoying this strange outing.
"Are you going to tell me where we're going?"
You manage to catch up to his pace.
"No."
He replies, trying to hide a smirk.
A small uneasy feeling crawls up your spine slowly. Could you trust the guy that you've been talking to for a couple of years?
"It's a surprise."
Damien quickly adds, still acting mysterious.
"Not even a clue?"
The uneasy feeling didn't go away, but it was slowly disappearing.
"It'll be fun, trust me."
Damien turns and smiles at you, completely calming your uneasiness.
He seemed so perfect...
You didn't notice the strange, dark glint in his eyes.
Or the nod to some other character.
You were too busy trying to solve where Damien was taking you.
"A bar?"
You stop walking. This wasn't something that Damien would do, is it?
"I'm not..."
"Meeting some friends, that's all."
He assures you and makes his way inside, expecting you to follow.
"Damien.. I'm not even allowed to drink."
You remind him but cautiously follow him anyway.
The music wasn't as loud as you expected it, and there weren't as many people in here.
Together, you made your way to the actual bar itself.
"Damien-"
You catch his attention over the music.
"Don't worry."
Damien sits on a stool, smiling at you.
The lighting made him look... off.
"I'm not drinking."
You say, mainly to yourself, as you sit next to him.
"Who are you meeting?"
"Just someone. Only for a few minutes and then we can go someplace else. I promise."
He nods his head at the bartender.
Damien was slightly older than you, so he could drink.
Somehow, Damien persuaded you to have a bit of alcohol.
You only intended to have one glass, but he could be so manipulative.
Damien's friend arrived, but it was hard to concentrate. Too many drinks in one go.
"Get everything ready."
You overhear Damien talking to his mystery friend.
"Ready? Are we going somewhere, D?"
You smile, cheeks slightly coloured.
"Don't call me that."
He harshly responds, but quickly fixes his mood.
"Have another drink, here."
If you were sober, you would have noticed that he had just poured something into the drink.
But you were drunk, so you didn't register it.
"Good."
Damien smiles, but it seemed to be darker than usual.
"Come on, lets go."
You were feeling too woozy to notice him leading you outside and into a car.
It was hard to keep awake.
"D-Damien?"
You weakly cry in the backseat of a car.
"Sleep."
'Damien' responds with a command.
He wasn't acting so friendly anymore.
"I've waited far too long for this."
He darkly comments just before you pass out.
