Hey everyone, how you been? I wanna apologise for the lack of updates so far, not only have I been suffering from a bad case of man flue, but March and April are gonna be the busiest months for me Uni wise. Literally all of my assignments are due over the course of the next 2  months so updates are gonna be slim. Gonna see if I can squeeze out a Starman update but I'm gonna struggle. My studies gotta come first, it is my Masters Year so lots of work. 

But, I wanted to get some ideas out. Also to explain my lack of real absence, so here's a fresh batch of book ideas, and some news surrounding  a book I know some of you wanna see. 

Dune Heretic Update 

I know there's a few people wanting this book to happen, and I am making progress. The Dune universe is very expansive and complicated so I've basically been doing research into stuff. The idea is still the same, older brother of Paul whose mother is Kailea Vernius who according to the Dune wiki was Letos first wife who went a bit mad and tried to kill Leto. 

But it is going well, I've got the blu rays for the movies on the way so I can give them a rewatch. I want to make this book very different, Dune isn't good vs evil its about ideals, the corruption of those ideals, religious zealotry, guilt etc. So I wanna make sure this book stays true to those themes and isn't just "hey look Dune book". 

As I've said before, Sofia Boutella is gonna be the love interest, and I've decided her name would be Zahara, which in Arabic and Hebrew I think means shining/brilliant. 

I've made this edit of Zahara, she'd be much more of a warrior than Chani. Which would go with Y/Ns character who's a bit more of a military man/tactician. As Paul was immersed in the Bene Gesserit training, Y/N basically threw himself into military training and would be an expert at the game Cheops. Which is basically the Dune version of chess.

Civil War 

Little different, I've gotten into the Civil War event in the comics, finally gotten round to reading the event and the Amazing Spider-Man tie in, and I'm loving it so far. And after reading the first volume of Spider-Boy and the Spider-Boy Kidpool One Shot I'm tempted to do this. 

So, the basic premise is Y/N is the "son" of Peter. I put in quotations because he's not exactly his son, he's basically one of the Jackals clones that got loose, and grew up by himself in an orphanage and sought Spider-Man out thinking he was his dad, which he technically was. And by the time of the Civil War event, Y/N would be close to the age Peter was when he first started being Spider-Man. 

I'm more just intrigued to sort of, write about the Civil War and the effects it would have. I mean, we all know Aunt May got shot but I don't think we really got all that much of how it effected Peters personal life, and here like I'd like to explore that. The tensions it would cause, the Sinister Six showing up to Y/Ns school cause they know who he is, stuff like that.

In looking to the tie ins, I found this image of Tony Stark shaking hands with a literal Nazi, so theres that

Real Monsters 

This is gonna be the Creature Commandos story (if I ever do it) I know people wanted the Arkham Knight idea, but this suits the theme and monster aesthetic better. Plus can keep the tortured Waller version of Robin for a future book. 

Y/N Tepes would be the Son of Dracula, and with a "hero" name of Alucard. Yes he would heavily be inspired by Castlevania Alucard, especially with the magic and how he fights. But that's pretty much it, Y/Ns origin would be completely different. And it would basically be a slight combination of what we see happen to Lisa in the anime, and what happened in the original Dracula novel. Sort of combing the two, with Y/Ns seeing Van Helsing as a monster. 

No love interest, story doesn't need one. 

Gotham's Knight Arrowverse 

I know a lot of you want me to do an Arrowverse book, and I don't blame you. I love the universe, but the problem is, all the seasons are 20 episodes long, 40 minutes, that's a lot to cover even if I just did 1 season. And if I did a story that takes place in the Arrowverse but didn't adapt anything I'd have to do something original which I'm not creative enough to do, or have it more reference the Arrowverse which at that point it would feel more like Agents of Shield or something. 

But I love Batman so maybe this will stick. This idea would pull from previous ideas, and would be heavily inspired by the Batwoman show. Y/N wouldn't be the first Batman of this world, and would be stepping into the footsteps of Bruce. Unsure if it would be traditional Batman, Beyond or Both. 

Characters from Batwoman would show up, such as Luke Fox, Mary Hamilton and Jacob Kane. The show did have interesting ideas I don't want to simply ignore. It did 2.0 villains in Season 3 which was pretty cool.

Dark Tomorrow 

Posted this before, but would be a Robin x Nolanverse story. This story would follow the original 3ish movies, and include some stuff from the semi canon Gotham Knight animated movie. Which is apparently canon, I think? Somehow? 

But Y/N in this would be inspired by Drake Winston from the Batman 89 comics. Not adopted by Bruce, but he's inspired by Batman and the name Robin is taken from Robin Hood.

I would add a lot more comic book elements, I know some people don't like that, but I mean? Nolan just didn't want to make a comic book movie come on, you can tell Batman Begins is like, comic booky and then Dark Knight just goes way overboard with the realistic stuff.

Love interest would be.....IDK, but he'd have the Batrizz 

Speeding Bullets 

(This one is unlikely but wanted to put it out for the lols)

Quick one, basically the Joel Schumacher Batman movies x a Superman reader. Now hold on before you say anything, I kinda like these movies. Are they good Batman movies? No, I mean Forever has some good stuff but isn't fleshed out, but these movies hold a special place in my heart. They were the first Batman movies I ever watched, the only ones I was allowed to watch for years, so they're special to me. 

Y/N would be the adopted brother of Bruce, but you know, adopted because he an alien. The movies would add in a lot of superpowers and a few Superman villains to keep the power balance. Forever would start out semi normally, and then some big changes would be made, like the Graysons wouldn't die (because freaking Superman is there) and Batman and Robin would still have some campiness, but also have changes. 

I just love these movies okay 

Love interest would be maybe a version of Lois......and maybe Uma Thurmans Ivy cause....I mean 

Now you might be asking "Author WTF is with all these Batman stories" well, Batman is my second favourite hero, Superman being number 1. But Batman is way more fun to be creatively free with. Theres only so many traditional Superman stories you can tell before he isn't Superman anymore, he's just OP insert. Plus also in the last few months my friends have given me some nice Batman gifts, one being a Batman oil painting and the other being this awesome 3D printed Batman mask with LED eyes.

Sensational Spider Siblings 

After watching Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man it got me in the Spidey mood. So thought I'd put this old cover out there. 

Basic idea is, Y/N is Peters cousin, so May's Son. But he isn't super gifted, he's not intelligent or a science geek, he's more average. So he doesn't go to Mid Town, he would go to Rockford T. Bales High School and have his own group of friends. Would still interact with the plot of the Spidey movies, but also have his own thing going on. Not much to say on this, need to work more stuff out. 

Love interest would be I have no idea, not Felicia before anyone says her because I know someone would 

Theres still other stuff floating around in my head, like maybe some X-Men 97 or general X-Men movie ideas. So add this to your library or keep an eye out so another batch of ideas could be out soon.
