"HYDRA doesn't like leaks," Sitwell said as he looked worried the small car from the back seat as he sat next to Caroline and Natasha on the other. Sam was driving and Steve was in the passenger's seat.

"Then why don't you try sticking a cork in it," Caroline suggested as she peered out the window.

Steve smirked slightly at Caroline's response to Sitwell's comment. Natasha wedged her head between the driver's seat and passenger's, "Insight's launching in sixteen hours. We're cutting it a little bit close here."

"I know. We'll use him to bypass the DNA scans and access the Helicarriers directly," Steve replied as Steve glanced back at Caroline.

"What? Are you crazy?" Sitwell snapped, "That's a terrible idea."

Before anyone can reply or know what was happening, the window on the driver's side in the back exploded, and Sitwell was torn out of the car and thrown into the busy traffic. Caroline saw the business end of the gun as the man crawled on top of the car. Using her speed, Caroline found her way on Steve's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling his head against her body. A bullet flew through the passenger's seat headrest.

Steve lifted his head from Caroline's chest, he reached out and grabbed the car's gear shift and threw the car into the park. The tires squealed as the smell of burnt rubber flew through the air. The attacker flew from the roof of the car and landed on the road ahead. Steve, Caroline, and Natasha held their breath as they saw their attacker: The Winter Soldier.

Rage bubbled up inside Natasha's stomach, memories flashing through her mind. She was determined to seek her revenge.

Natasha pulled out her gun and aimed when suddenly a SUV slammed into the back of the car and the gun was knocked out of her hands.

Sam tried to keep the car straight as the SUV continued to ram the car forward, they were heading towards the Winter Soldier, and were pretty sure they were going to hit him, but at the last second, he flipped up and over, landing on the rook of the car and holding on tight.

Natasha, irritated, tried to retrieve the gun that had fallen to the floorboard. The Winter Soldier smashed his metal arm through the windshield and wrapped his gloved hand around the steering wheel before ripping it out, leaving the car without anyway to control it.

"Shit!"

Natasha felt the cold metal hit her fingers and she started to fire rounds at the ceiling of the car, the Winter Soldier fled and jumped onto the SUV behind them. The SUV hit the car from behind, and were jolted up against the concrete dividers.

"Hang on!" Steve shouted. The car began to flip, and he wrapped his arm around Caroline's waist while Steve was gripping Sam's shirt, who was holding onto Natasha. Suddenly they were falling and taking the car down with them.

Caroline let out a groan as they painfully landed on the street and skidded across the pavement. The sound was loud like nails dragged against a chalkboard and caused their ear to ring.

Scrambling to their feet, Sam continued to roll across the asphalt, from falling off the car door that they were sliding on. The Winter Soldier rose up a rocket launcher and pointed it at them. Steve forcefully shoved Caroline and Natasha out of the way as he protected himself with his shield. The grenade exploded when it hit Steve's shield and was sent flying off the bridge.

Natasha ran behind the minivan, her gun cocked and ready as the Winter Soldier and his henchman piled out of the car with bullets. The Soldier launched another bullet at Caroline, before it reached her, she swiftly pivoted over the guardrail and onto oncoming traffic.

Caroline's arms stayed at her side as she sprinted down the highway, she was running behind a sports car when it exploded. She was sent flying off the bridge and before she fell she shot a grappling hook on the other side of the bridge and landed safely on the street below.

Caroline was running beneath the bridge, when she saw the Winter Soldier's shadow, she realized that he was waiting for her and Natasha to run out of bullets. She walked forward, just at the edge of the bridge's overhang and out of the Soldier's sight. Natasha began to open fire and successfully hit the Soldier's goggles, causing him to duck down. That gave Natasha and Caroline both time to run and hide behind a large truck.

The Winter Soldier popped back up without his goggles, and shot below him thinking that the two ladies were still down there. Natasha shot back giving away their position. Knowing where they were the Soldier began to fire at them. They both knew that their guns were no use for his guns and fled.

Down the street, the Winter Soldier put his hands into fists with rage and walked toward the intersection. Everything was quiet except for some of the cars that were abandoned and still had their engines running. A siren cried out and a cop car came around the corner. Two officers popped out with their guns out, the Winter Soldier raised his weapon sending both of the officers feeling for cover as their vehicle burst into flames.

While in hiding, Natasha pulled out a small recording device and began to record a fake call for help. She nodded at Caroline, who pressed the repeat option as they sprinted to another location. The Soldier heard Natasha's cries and he quickly rolled a grenade underneath he car which he though they were hiding behind.

In seconds, the truck exploded high into the sky, debris falling everywhere. Getting onto of the car behind the Soldier, while he was distracted, Caroline jumped onto of him and landed on his shoulders as the car exploded.

Caroline gripped on tightly to the Winter Soldier as Natasha got out her garrote in attempts to strangle him. But before he could meet the wire around his neck, he blocked it with his hand. The Winter Soldier threw himself forward, resulting in both ladies flying towards a car, pain engulfing both of them.

"Seriously!" Caroline yelled

As he loaded his gun, Natasha fired her bites, like magnets they stuck to his arm, shocking him and causing the arm to go limp.

Natasha and Caroline quickly got up and ran, they both knew that they were no match for him. Citizens popped their heads out from behind buildings and their cars, wondering if the coast was clear.

The vampire and the red head ran through the intersection, fleeing from the Winter Soldier.

"Get out of the way! Stay away!" They cried to the pedestrians.

As they fled past a sedan, Caroline could hear a gun cock, she pushed Natasha out of the way, a gunshot running through their ears as a bullet made its way to her left shoulder. She whimpered in pain as she dropped to her knees and scurrying behind a nearby car. Caroline tried to get the bullet out but it was too deep to get out.

The Winter Soldier climbed on top of the sedan and looking down at the injured Caroline, who looked up unable to protect herself. A black suited figure jumped out in front of Caroline with a staff whipping it around the air. The Winter Soldier lunged forward with his metal arm reaching for the woman's metal staff and bending towards her. She bended backwards as he kept pressing further downward. She quickly looped around getting out of his grasp, but no longer having the staff alongside her. Yet she kept high kicking to keep the soldier at a distance, The Winter Soldier was trained better than that as he grabbed the lady's leg and whipped her to the concrete ground. His eyes were determined to finish her off and move its way back to Caroline. As the Winter Soldier looked down at the now defenseless lady, suddenly, Captain America's shield raised, launched at the Winter Soldier. The villain turned with his metal fist and made a huge sound against the Captain's vibranium shield, sending a shock wave in every direction.

They both flew back a few feet, because of the impact. They exchanged a couple of punches, each one harder than the one before. The Winter Soldier backed up and pulled out his knife, ready to attack. Steve dodged every attempt made before finally kicking the knife away.

Caroline moved her way over to the masked woman that laid motionless on the floor. The blondness of the hair was extremely light when she went to push the hair out of the woman's face, the hair resulted in being crunchy and prosthetic and a wig. Caroline pulled it back to see her natural hair, and that's when the mask of the woman fell off.

"Kiara..." Caroline whispered as her minded wandered aimlessly to how her sister has been alive all this time. But all the clues started to connect slowly. Zola's pictures of her in the bunker, the photo of the two appearing in her apartment, the protectiveness of Kiara watching over her and subconsciously Steve. Kiara was protecting her even if it meant being away from Caroline for all this time.

The Winter Soldier advanced on Steve, who got to his feet as he threw a punch. Steve grabbed him and flipped him over his head and in doing so grabbed a part of the Soldier's mask. So when the Winter soldier landed, something was missing, his mask.

"Bucky?" Steve said in awe as he stared into the eyes of his long lost friend who was presumed to be dead. Caroline looked up at him, taking her eyes off of Kiara for a second to look at Bucky. Bucky was so different, almost unrecognizable. His hair was longer and scars and bruises lined his face.

"Who the hell is Bucky?" The soldier asked as Steve looked with a blank face.

As Bucky goes to shoot at Steve, Sam flies in and throws Steve aside, Bucky throws a bomb at Steve and runs off, Steve deflects the bomb with his shield as it explodes, then the four hear sirens after which they are surrounded by HYDRA agents being led by Rumlow.

"Drop the shield, Captain! On your knees! Get on your knees! Now! Get down! Get down!" Steve holds his hands up,"Get on your knees! Down!"

He kicks Steve's leg and Steve kneels down,"Don't move."

Rumlow looks at the helicopter flying above them and warns the agent holding Steve at gunpoint,"Put the gun down. Not here. Not here!"

The agent lowers his gun, the HYDRA agents then take Steve, Caroline, Kiara, Sam, and Natasha into custody.
