Mercie Margaret Money was the firstborn child of Henry and Anne Money. She was born on October 31, 1983.

Growing up, Mercie and her younger sister, Eleanor, were abused by their mother. The whole time, Anne was being abused by her husband, though Henry never laid a hand on the kids.

In 1989, just after Mercie's sixth birthday, Henry broke Anne's nose, and Anne, in retaliation, locked the five year old Eleanor out of the house. Mercie snuck to the phone and called the police on her mother.

The police came and the Money sisters were put in foster care. For the first few years in the system, they were placed together, but in 1992 they were separated. After the separation, Mercie was rehomed quite often due to behavioral issues.

Aged thirteen, Mercie was placed in a home with a man named Waylon Mason. She would stay with him for the next two years.

During the years Mercie was in Waylon's care, he physically and sexually abused her.

In 1998, Mercie's period was late. She knew what that could mean and skipped school to go to a convenience store, where she shoplifted a pregnancy test. It came back positive.

Well, Mercie went back home to Waylon and told him she was pregnant and wanted an abortion. Waylon told her that if she did, he'd shoot her in the head.

Well, she couldn't get an actual abortion, and she wasn't going to use a clothes hanger, so she started doing things to attempt to miscarry. She threw herself down the stairs, started drinking, even at one point tried heroin. None of this worked, though, and on December 25, 1998, Mercie gave birth to a baby girl. The girl would be named Hazel Grace by a nurse and Hazel was given her mother's surname.

Mercie didn't tell anyone who her baby's father was. She said "some guy from school" when asked.

While Mercie was still in the hospital, Waylon told her that he planned to adopt her. Thus, Mercie began to plan her death. When she got out of the hospital, she would overdose on pills.

Mercie gave Hazel up for adoption and went home on December 27. On December 28, Mercie went into the bathroom and downed a bottle of painkillers.

Waylon found her and called an ambulance. She survived and told the doctors what Waylon had done to her, how he'd hurt her and threatened her. They asked why she tried to take her life over it and she said, "I needed out. Either way, getting out would end with me dead. I just wanted to be the one that took me out."

Mercie was taken from Waylon's care and placed in the girl's home her sister was in. Here, Mercie would learn that Eleanor had become a troublemaker. She was drinking, smoking, doing drugs. She'd been taken in by a bad crowd.

Mercie tried to keep Eleanor on the straight and narrow, but to no avail. Eleanor ended up getting kicked out of the girl's home, leaving Mercie alone.

In 2001, Mercie aged out of the system. She got a job at a sandwich shop in London.

In 2002, Mercie decided she wanted to be an actress. So, she started saving up money to move to LA. By 2004, she was able to get a green card and go to LA.

She started going to open auditions. In 2006, she got her first role as a nanny in a horror film.

In 2008, she got custody of her niece, Lauren.

She continued acting in small films. Then, in 2009, she decided to go to an audition for Olga Affkardottir in Thor. She convinced Lauren to audition for the role of Freya Thordottir and Lauren also got the role.

Mercie would reprise her role as Olga in The Avengers and The Young Avengers I don't know what else this woman does.
