"So, you will come with me, right?"
Eunwoo asked her as they both were sitting in the cafe. He was asking her for a dinner night, which made her wonder what could be the matter.
"All of a sudden, Eunwoo?" she asked, while he gave her a charming smile. There was a time when Yerin would usually try to gain his attention and used to try to make him love her, but soon accepted the fact that he never saw her in that way. Now, his smiles no longer affected her the way it did months ago.
"Just wanted to spend some time together. Lunch is already planned with our parents for next week."
She knew that the lunch was already scheduled for the next week. It was not going to be a normal conversation, instead they would talk about their marriage. She smiled at him slightly, realizing that he wanted to spend some time with her last time. He would reject the marriage proposal next week, and she was damn sure about it.
Here, she was definitely relieved. This fake relationship would end soon and she would be able to follow her passion and dream too. Somewhere in her heart, she was relieved that she would not feel the guilt she was feeling. Maybe she would feel less regret after this.
"Alright."
He smiled at her response and stood up from the table after she stood up, "I'll come to pick you up at seven."
She smiled and nodded at him before walking out of the cafe along with him.

Jungkook fixed the blanket after throwing it on the couch. He brought the snacks and kept them on the table. He checked the living room and arrangements for the hundredth time before smiling in satisfaction. He was planning to have a small movie night with Yerin. He didn't tell her about the plan, wanting to give a surprise to her.
He quickly picked up his mobile before stepping out of his apartment. He rang the bell with a huge smile on his face. He smiled more widely once she opened the door.
"Yerin, come with me," he said as he grabbed her hand before dragging her toward his apartment. Yerin looked at him shocked before stopping him.
"Jungkook, not now. I need to go somewhere."
He furrowed his eyebrows before realizing that she was dressed up in a light pink knee-length dress for some sort of dinner. He asked, "Where are you going?
She looked at her feet before looking into his eyes, "Actually... Eunwoo invited me for dinner. So..."
His eyes replaced the happiness with sadness as it was also visible on his whole face. He nodded his head while looking at the corner of the hallway as he said, "Oh! Alright. Enjoy the dinner, Yerin."
He moved back to his apartment while she said, "Jungkook, what were you saying though-"
Her sentence was cut off by the clicking sound of the door as she looked at the closed door. The elevator dinged open, revealing Eunwoo. He walked toward her before leading the way toward the elevator. She looked at the closed door of Jungkook's apartment with guilt in her eyes, before walking beside Eunwoo.

The small night out along with the dinner went well. Eunwoo made her feel at comfort around him, which made the things go smoothly. They talked about the last year and memories they had together. She looked at Eunwoo as he talked about the good times they had together, which made Yerin to be sure that Eunwoo was having her around him for the last time. Although this whole scenario was a fake relationship but the friendship between them was very pure. He was definitely a great man and she hoped that he would find a perfect girl for himself.
They both walked toward her apartment. It was already around midnight as they tried not to disturb her neighbours. Yerin turned around to look at him once she reached the apartment. She smiled before saying, "It was a nice time, Eunwoo. Thank you for today."
He chuckled at her and said, "It was my pleasure, Yerin. Good night."
She wished him the same and opened the door while Eunwoo took his steps toward the elevator to leave. She sighed after entering her apartment and directly went to take a shower, afterwards, changing into a hoodie and sweatpants.
She glanced at the clock which showed a quarter past twelve. She contemplated for several minutes before walking out of the room. She stepped out of her apartment as she stood in front of Jungkook's apartment. She decided not to ring the bell and instead punched in the password herself. They obviously knew each other's passwords for some reason.
She quietly entered the living room, locking the door afterwards. Her eyes saddened when she noticed snacks on the table and some comforters on the couch. He definitely planned something good for her, but she unintentionally ruined the surprise. She slowly entered his bedroom as she noticed him sleeping soundly.
She walked toward him and squatted near the bed. A smile made its way on her lips as she ran her fingers through his black locks. Jungkook squirmed under her touch, making her silently giggle at him. She carefully laid down beside him before pulling the duvet on herself. She slowly wrapped her arms around him and continued caressing his head. After some moments, she felt him hugging her waist too.
"Good night, Yerin."
She became shocked when she heard his muffled deep voice. She internally cursed herself for waking him up. However, she gasped when he pulled her closer, leaving no gap between them. He hummed against her neck, as she felt the vibrations through his chest.
"Good night to you too, Jungkook."
He relaxed after hearing her words before snuggling his nose in the crook of her neck. She continued to caress his hair, making him feel at ease. They peacefully slept in each other's arms, forgetting all the things which seemed to mess up their mind.
