"What?! You've never been to a festival?!" You sat there wide-eyed. "Yeah, since we don't have summers here, they've never held one before. This is common Devildom knowledge Y/N!" The avatar of greed says as he pulls out a spicy ramen bowl from the microwave. "We have to go to one! You can't spend the rest of your life without going to a festival!" You got up to grab Mammon's arm. "Woah, calm down human! You seriously think I wanna go to some stupid festival with you?!" He pushes you away from him. "As if!" He quickly turns his head, you could see his ears turn red. "Aww come on... please?" You grab onto him again hoping he'll change his mind. Then Lucifer comes in. "Good Evening Y/N, Mammon." You can tell he was glaring at him quite hard. "Lucifer! Let's go to a festival since Mammon doesn't wanna go with me." You run up to Lucifer and hold to him the same way you did with Mammon. Quickly, Mammon grabs you. "There's no way I'm letting MY human go alone with YOU." He growled. "Oh, my. Looks like someone's jealous..." Lucifer smirked. "W-wait! W-why would I be jealous?!" Mammon covered his face with his hands, which gave you time to hug him tightly. "It's okay to be jealous!" You smile and patted his shoulder. "IM NOT JEALOUS!" Mammon yells and runs out, forgetting his bowl of ramen.

"Mammoooon..." You knock on the door, waiting for a response. "GO AWAY Y/N!" You heard him throw a light object at the door. "Come onnnnn, I wanna see your cute faceeee." Suddenly, a click can be heard. You try opening the door, and it opens, revealing Mammon. "Hey Y/N..." He says, looking at the floor. "Let's go to that stupid festival." He finally makes eye contact with you. "Really?!" You quickly take his hand and start running out the House of Lamentation. You keep on running and running until you get to a portal which leads to the human world. "You do realize we need Lucifer to open the portal for us...?" Mammon questioned. "Looks like you're right..." You sigh. "Allow me to open it for you Y/N." You turn to see Lucifer and the other 5 brothers there. "Huh? How'd you guys know we'd be here?" Mammon holds your hand tighter. "Y/N did invite me, so I decided we should all go and experience the festival. You don't mind right, Y/N?" Lucifer smiles at you reassuringly. "Of course not! We have to do some shopping first." You step towards the portal and get pulled back by Mammon, who is still holding your hand. "So you're just gonna let them ruin our date?!" He pulls you back even harder. "I-" you stand there at a loss of words. "Mammon, let Y/N go. I can't let you harm her." Lucifer transforms into his demon form, leaving Mammon sweating. "You thought this was a date...?" You look at him innocently. "OF COURSE I THOUGHT THIS WAS A DATE!" Mammon starts blushing. "Mammon, you're blushing like crazy!" You giggle, making Mammon run into the portal. "It's about time we started leaving, I'm burning up out here~" Asmodeus starts walking into the portal, and so does everyone else.

"So, why do you need to go shopping?" Levi walks up to you. "I need to buy a yukata for the festival." You say, looking at all the shops. "Do we need to wear one?" Levi then gives you a disgusted face. "No, but if you want to, you can." You smile and Asmo chimes in. "Oh, I'll definitely wear one. Let's get matching ones!" "NONONO! You guys aren't wearing matching yukatas! You'll look like a couple!" Mammon yells. "Then why don't YOU match with Y/N?" Asmo gave a smug look to Mammon. He went silent. "Oh, good idea Asmo! They should totally match!" Levi laughed, breaking the tension. You thought about it for a while. "Maybe we should, I think we'd look cute." You say as Mammon blushes intensely, making Asmo and Levi burst out laughing. "GAHAHA..! YOU'VE REALLY DONE IT Y/N!" Satan then whacks them both in the head. "You guys really are annoying. Y/N, if you don't mind, I'd like to match yukatas with you." He put his arm around your shoulder. "I'd love to!" Suddenly, your shoulders feel lighter, you notice Mammon behind you, grabbing Satan's wrist. "You guys just don't get the hint, do you?" He sighs loudly and tightens his grip. "Mammon! Let go of Satan!" You run up to them and try to get them apart. "You guys... are so childish..!" You struggle to pull them apart, which leaves you to bite Mammon's hand. "Ahh..! What the hell Y/N?!" Mammon quickly covers the bite and looks at you weird. "Y/N, did you just bite me? You're a real fuckin' crazy human." He looks at you in awe. "I had no other choice. You guys were going at each other!" You slap Mammon and Satan and walk off.

"Look Y/N! Isn't this just adorable?" Asmo lifts up the shirt to show you. "It is, you should buy it!" You smile then continue shopping. "Ahh... it's so nice shopping with you Y/N! Especially since everyone is waiting outside, so there are no interruptions!" Asmo grabs random clothing pieces and waits for you to pick out your yukata. "Should I go with red, blue, or purple?" You look at Asmo as you hold up all three. "Definitely purple, it compliments your skin tone very nicely!" He giggles and takes your hand. You pay for your yukata and some of Asmo's clothes. As soon as you walk out of the store, Lucifer's voice can be heard. "Why don't you just go in there and see what they're up to? I'm sure they wouldn't ca-." "Where'd they go?! They better not be in the same dressing room!" Mammon's face is squished onto the window display. "Oh my, caught spying red-handed!" Asmo makes a finger gun and points at Mammon. "Oh hey Y/N!" Mammon's face is no longer pushed against the window. "Aren't you supposed to have your yukata on already?" Lucifer walks up to you."Oh right. I completely forgot..." You turn around and walk back into the store. "Beel, go in there and make sure Y/N is safe." Lucifer says. "Now, wait a minute! Why does Beel get to go?! I can go in there and protect Y/N!" Mammon steps in front of Lucifer. He sighs. "Fine, but don't try anything stupid." Mammon then rushes into the store. "Why didn't you argue with him?" Satan asks Lucifer. "It's exhausting hearing Mammon whine about not being with Y/N. It makes things easier for me." He smiles.

You put on your yukata and walk out of the dressing room. "Hey Y/N. It's about time you finished!" Mammon yells, which makes you jump a little. "Mammon, I didn't see you there." You sigh in relief. "Y/N, you look beautiful." His face turns red completely as he covers his eyes and smiles like crazy. You take his hand and walk out of the shop. "Oh Y/N...! I told you purple looked great on you! Just look how gorgeous you are!" Asmo hugs you tightly, almost making you lose breath. "Thanks Asmo, but we should get going or we'll miss the festival." You smile and start walking. The others follow you, chatting within themselves. You feel cold hands touch you. You turn to see Mammon holding your hand. "You've been acting weird today, you know that?" You continue looking straight ahead. "Only because you make me feel this way, I don't know what's wrong with me but I know it has something to do with you." He looks down at the floor. You stare at him blankly. "Huh?"

The bright lights of the festival's attractions almost put you at ease, knowing the fun finally begins. Everyone separates to do their own thing, leaving you alone to browse. At the corner of your eye, you see a goldfish scooping game. You walk towards the stand and observe someone struggling to catch a fish. "Hey, I can help you with that." You give them a gentle smile. "Yeah, sure." The person hands you the scoop, you take it and swiftly place it under a fish, then lift it slowly. The person watches in awe. "Wow, you're amazing. Thank you so much!" You hand them the fish, which was already placed in its plastic bag. They bow and run off. You give the owner a coin and they hand you the scoop. Using the same tactic, you grab yourself a fish.

"Woah! Y/N you caught a goldfish?! What're you gonna name it?" Satan takes a quick glance at the fish. "I'm not sure, what do you recommend? I've never had a pet so I don't have much experience with these types of things." You hand him the goldfish. "Hmm... Maybe you should name it after something you hold dear. Something like your favorite snack or an item-" You quickly yell out. "I'll name it Mammon!" You snatch the goldfish from Satan's hands and jump up in joy. "That's a terrible name, but if that's what you want, then fine. Although it would be better to name it after me." Satan sighs. Levi comes running up to you and starts hyperventilating. "I should... really... start working out..." You and Satan give him a weird look. "Hey, are you okay?" You walk up to him and pat him on the back. "Lucifer made me search for you guys since you weren't answering your phone. There's gonna be a firework show in 10 minutes, so he wanted everyone to enjoy it." He notices the goldfish bag and lags. "IS THAT A GOLDFISH?! CAN IT BE FRIENDS WITH HENRY? THEY'LL BE BEST BUDDIES!" Levi starts making gestures, almost scaring you and Satan. "Sure, I named it Mammon." You smile and notice the smile from Levi's face fade. "WHY WOULD GIVE IT A HORRIBLE NAME?! THAT BEAUTIFUL GOLDFISH DOESN'T DESERVE SUCH A HORRID NAME!" He starts rambling. Eventually, you get tired and proceed to drag him to the highest hill in the area. Once you get to the top of the hill, the brothers look at you. "It's about time you arrived. Come, sit with us." Lucifer smiles and starts talking to Asmo. You decide to sit next to Mammon. When you do, you show him your fish. "I named it after you. Isn't it cute?" He smiles and ruffles your hair, making you blush lightly. "Yeah, it's cute, especially since you named it after me." He smirks and looks at the starry sky. The fireworks start and everyone cheers in excitement, everyone except Mammon. He seemed uneasy and you were worried. "Mammon, are you okay? You seem upset..." You turn to face him, but he stands up. "Y/N, follow me, I found a small house earlier." He offers his hand to you and you take it. You both walk to the bottom of the hill and start walking down a path. Mammon stays silent the whole trip, which makes you question yourself since he's usually loud and energetic.

You two finally arrive at the 'small house' that Mammon talked about. It was an old temple. "Mammon this isn't a small house, it's a tem-" "Alright, I'm gonna say something I might regret. SO LISTEN UP BECAUSE I AIN'T GONNA REPEAT MYSELF, OKAY HUMAN?" His loud voice echoes through the woods surrounding the temple. "Huh?" It was the only thing you could say, as you were shocked by the sudden interruption. "I..." He hesitates at first, then holds your hands and makes eye contact. "I think... you're the most beautiful person I've ever met! Not just from the outside, but from the inside too. I know it sounds cheesy, but you make my days better just by being there. You accept me for who I am and try to see the good in me. I may be some stupid greedy demon and I probably don't deserve you, but it's nice having you around. And when I see you with my brothers, it makes me upset. It's super selfish of me, but I want you all to myself. I don't want to share you with my brothers. So what I'm trying to say is... I love you." He let's go of your hands and automatically looks down. You stand there in awe. You come to your senses and realized he confessed to you. Your face immediately burns up. "You... love me...?" You take his hand and he looks at you. "Yeah..." He tried to make eye contact but is too embarrassed and decides to stare at the ground again. You giggle. "I love you too!" You hug him tightly, Mammon returning the hug. He starts crying. "Are you... crying?" You smile as he wipes away his tears. "N-no! Why would The Great Mammon cry?! He never cries..." You stare him down, making him surrender. "Alright fine, I'm just happy you feel the same way. I've never had anyone care for me as much as you do." He places his hand on your hip and leans in to kiss you.
