bucky barnes and yelena belova have lost the ones closest to them, and have had to adapt to time lost in different ways.

now, on a mission surrounded by rejects and idiots, bucky and yelena must face their past, their nightmares, a menacing man named bob, and the possibility that maybe there's more to life than work and shooting... and maybe they have more in common than they thought.

they're the only two people who could possibly understand each other more than anyone, on everything... if they allow it.

• i've shipped bucklena since before yelena was introduced into the mcu

• i feel like thunderbolts is gonna be lame cowards & not give it to me (even tho it's a dream come true that bucky & yelena even get to be in the same movie)

• and i have so many plans & ideas for bucklena & so many reasons they would be perfect together so i decided to take matters into my own hands lol

• this will not be published until after i see thunderbolts ofc bc i have no idea what's gonna happen or how it's gonna go...

• even if by some miracle we do get bucklena, i think i'm still gonna write this to go more into depth/detail for them
