Sam is reading a newspaper article about a guy that was killed, a minutes later, Dean and Ana comes outside, laughing as they did a fist bump, they both had a wad of cash in their hands. "You know, we could get day jobs once in a while." Sam says to the couple, as they walk to the car.

"Hunting's our day job. And the pay is crap." Dean says.

"We don't get paid to do this." Ana says pointing out the obvious as Dean gave her a side eyed look.

"Yeah, but hustling pool? Credit card scams. It's not the most honest thing in the world, Dean." Sam says as Ana nodded her head, as she counted her money that she had got.

"Well, let's see honest." Dean says as he holds out one hand. "Fun and easy." He says as he holds out the other, and gestures that 'fun and easy', outweighs 'honest'. "It's no contest. Besides, we're good at it. It's what we were raised to do."

"Yeah, well, how we were raised was jacked." Sam says.

"Yeah, says you. We got a new gig or what?" Dean asked.

"Maybe. Oasis Plains, Oklahoma -- not far from here. A gas company employee, Dustin Burwash, supposedly died from Creutzfeldt-Jakob." Sam says.

"Huh?" Dean asked confused.

"Human mad cow disease." Ana says as she puts the money in her wallet.

"Mad cow. Wasn't that on Oprah?" Dean asked.

"You watch Oprah?" Sam asked confused.

Dean who is embarrassed doesn't think of anything to say. "So, this guy eats a bad burger? Why is it our kind of problem?" Dean asked changing the topic.

"Mad cow disease causes massive brain degeneration. It takes months, even years, for the damage to appear. But this guy, Dustin? Sounds like his brain disintegrated in about an hour. Maybe less." Ana says as Sam handed her the newspaper article.

"Okay, that's weird." Dean says.

"Yeah, now t could be a disease. Or it could be somethin', much nastier." Sam says.

"Alright. Oklahoma." Dean says as the three of them get into the car. "Man. Work, work, work. No time to spend my money." Dean says as they drive off.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them get out of the car and approach, Travis, who was with the guy Dustin before he died. "Travis Weaver?" Ana asked.

"Yeah, that's right." Travis says.

"Are you the Travis who worked with Uncle Dusty?" Dean asked.

"Dustin never mentioned nephews." Travis says.

"Really? Well, he sure mentioned you. He said you were the greatest." Dean says as he had an arm around Ana.

"Yeah." Sam says.

"Oh, he did? Huh?" Travis says smiling a little.

"Listen, we wanted to ask you... what exactly happened out there?" Ana asked.

"I'm not sure. He fell into a sinkhole. I went to the truck to get some rope and uh... by the time I got back..." Travis says.

"What did you see?" Dean asked.

"Nothin'. Just Dustin." Travis says.

"No wounds or anything?" Sam asked.

"Well, he was bleeding... from his eyes, ears and nose, but that's it." Travis says as Ana grabbed a piece of gum from her pocket and gave the other one to Dean, who look it.

"So, you think it could be this whole mad cow thing?" Dean asked.

"I don't know. That's what the doctor are sayin'." Travis says.

"But if it was, he would've acted strange beforehand, like dementia, loss of motor control. You ever notice anything like that?" Sam asked.

"No. No way. But then again, if it wasn't some disease, what the hell was it?" Travis asked.

"That's a good question." Dean says.

"You know, can you tell us where this happened?" Ana asked.

"Yeah." Travis says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them arrive at the scene of Dustin's death. The sinkhole is surrounded by police tape. "Huh. What do you think?" Dean asked.

"I don't know. But if that guy, Travis was right, it happened pretty damn fast." Sam says, as the three of them duck under the police tape and look into the hole with a flashlight.

"So, what? Some sort of creature chewed on his brain?" Dean asked.

"No, there'd be an entry wound. Sounds like this thing worked from the inside." Sam says.

"Huh. Looks like there's only room for one. You wanna flip a coin?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, I'm not going in there." Ana says as she looked through her sunglasses.

"Yeah, I know, baby. Don't wanna get that pretty face chewed up, now do we?" Dean says as Ana shook her head with a small smile.

"Dean, we have no idea what's down there." Sam says, as Dean picks up a nearby coil of rope.

"Alright, I'll go if you're scared. You scared?" Dean asked.

"Flip the damn coin." Sam says, as Dean chuckles and takes a coin out of his pocket.

"Alright, call it in the air... chicken." Dean says, as he flips the coin, and Sam catches it in the air.

"I'm going." Sam says.

"I said I'd go." Dean says.

"Will you two stop fighting of who gets a cookie, geez." Ana says as Dean give her a look.

"Not helping, Annie." Dean says as he pressed a kiss on her cheek.

Sam begins to tying the rope around his waist. "Don't drop me."

"It will be funny if he does." Ana says as Sam turned his head towards her and gives her a bitch face look, which made her smile at him. "What I didn't say anything."

"Yeah, yeah." Sam says as he starts to go down the sinkhole

───※ ·❆· ※───

While Dean is driving, Sam is examining a dead beetle in his hand. "So, you found some beetles. In a whole, in the ground. That's shocking, Sam." Dean says sarcastically.

"There were no tunnels, no tracks. No evidence of any other kind of creature down there. You know, beetles do eat meat. Now, it's usually dead meat, but still." Sam says.

"How many did you find down there?" Dean asked.

"Ten." Sam says.

"It'd take a whole lot more than that to eat out some dude's brain." Dean says.

"Well, maybe there were more." Sam says.

"I don't know, it sounds like a stretch to me." Dean says.

"Well, we need more information on the area, the neighborhood. Whether something like this has ever happened before." Sam says, as they drive through town, they pass a sign for an open house, which is decorated with balloons. "What?" Sam asked.

"I know a good place to start." Dean says as another sign reads: 'Models Open. New Buyers' BBQ Today!'. I'm kinda hungry for a little barbeque, how 'bout you?" Dean says as Sam gives him a look. "What, we can't talk to the locals?" Dean asked.

"And what's the free food got nothin', to do with it?" Sam asked.

"Of course not. I'm a professional." Dean says as Ana raised her eyebrows at what he said, along with a snort. "Annie, be good or no cuddles."

"Wha--hey!" Ana says as she has a pout on her face. "I didn't say anything." She says, to Dean, as he turned his head to her, as she gave him her best innocent look.

"Yeah, but you were thinking about it." Dean says which the two of them couldn't deny that. She was thinking about it. Even if she didn't say it.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean pulls over and gets out of the car, they begin walking down the street to the open house. "Growin' up in a place like this, would freak me out."

"Why?" Sam asked him as he had an arm around Ana.

"Well, manicured lawns, 'how was your day, honey?' I'd blow my brains out." Dean says as Ana glanced up at him for a moment before moving her gaze to the ground.

"There's nothing wrong with 'normal'." Sam says.

"I'd take our family over normal any day." Dean says as Ana purses her lips.

The three of them approach the house and knock on the door, as the homeowner answers. "Welcome.

"This the barbeque?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, not the best weather, but... I'm Larry Pike, the developer here. And you are...?"

"I'm Ana, and this is Dean and Sam." Ana says to him.

"Good to meet you. So, are you three interested in Oasis Plains?" Larry asked.

"Yes, sir. Uh, her dad is getting there in age and we're looking for a good place for him." Dean says.

"Great, great. Well, seniors are welcome, too. Come on in." Larry says as he takes the three of them to the backyard. There are lots of people walking around, chatting and eating.

"You said you were the developer?" Sama sked.

"Eighteen months ago, I was walking this valley with my survey team. There was nothing here but scrub bush and squirrels. And you know what, we built such a nice place to live that I actually bought into it myself. This is our house. We're the first family in Oasis Plains." Larry tells them as they walk over to his wife. "This is my wife, Joanie."

"Hi, there." Joanie says.

"Hi." Ana says offering her a small smile.

"Nice to meet you." Joanie says.

"Sam, Dean and Ana." Larry says, introducing the three of them to his wife.

"Pleasure." Joanie says.

"Tell them how much you love the place, honey, and lie if you have to because I need to sell some houses." Larry says.

"Right." Joanie says as they laugh.

"Will you excuse me?" Larry says as he leaves.

"Don't let his salesman routine scare you. This really is a great place to live." Joanie says, as a very energetic woman approaches them.

"Hi, I'm Lynda Bloome, head of sales." Lynda says.

"And Lynda was second to move in. She's a very noisy neighbor, though." Joanie says as she leaves also.

"She's kidding, of course. I take it you three are interested in becoming homeowners." Lynda says as she laughed.

"We are." Dean says.

"Me and D, are gonna go talk to Larry." Ana says to Sam, as her and Dean turn away and walk away.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Inside the house, Dean, Ana and Sam come downstairs, as they are finishing a tour. "You've got three choices - carpet, hardwood, and tile." Larry says, as Ana notices a jar full of bugs on a nearby table.

"Whoa. Someone likes bugs." Ana says.

"My son - he's into insects. He's very, inquisitive." Larry says, as Ana nods her head.

Lynda is talking to Sam, as they are still outside. "Who can say 'no' to a steam shower? I use mine every day."

"Sounds great." Sam says uninterested, while Lynda continues talking Sam, notices a tarantula crawling towards her hand, which is resting on a table. A few feet away, Larry's son, Matt, is watching excitedly. "Excuse me." Sam says as he pushes Lynda out of the way and picks up the spider and brings it over to Matt. "Is this yours?"

Matt takes the spider from Sam. "You gonna tell my dad?"

"I don't know, who's your dad?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, Larry usually skips me in the family introductions." Matt says.

"Ouch. First name basis with the old man -- sounds pretty grim." Sam says.

"Well, I'm not exactly brochure material." Matt says.

"Well, hang in there. It gets better, alright? I promise." Sam says.

"When?" Matt asked.

"Matthew!" Larry calls, as Sam and Matt turn to see Larry, Dean and Ana, walking towards them. "I'm so sorry about my son and his... pet."

"It's no bother." Sam says.

"Excuse us." Larry says as he walks away with Matt.

"Remind you of somebody?" Sam asked, as Dean looks over at Larry, who is yelling at Matt. He looks back at Sam confused. "Dad?"

"Dad never treated us like that." Dean says.

"Well, Dad never treated you like that. You were perfect. He was all over my case. You don't remember?" Sam says.

"Well, maybe he had to raise his voice, but sometimes, you were out of line." Dean says.

"Right. Right, like when I said I'd rather play soccer than learn bowhunting." Sam says.

"Bowhunting's an important skill." Dean.

"So, not experiencing kid stuff aren't important skills. So, being a kid isn't important." Ana says as Sam nodded his head at her.

"See, she gets it." Sam says as he pointed his hand at Ana. "So, how was the tour?"

"Oh, it was excellent. We're ready to buy." Dean says as Sam laughs.

"Dustin Burwash wasn't the first strange death around here." Ana says.

"What happened?" Sam asked.

"About a year ago, before they broke ground, one of Larry's surveyors dropped dead while on the job. Get this severe allergic reaction to bee stings." Ana says.

"More bugs." Sam says.

"More bugs." Dean and Ana say in unison as they do this fist bump.

───※ ·❆· ※───

While Sam drives through the neighborhood, Dean looks through John's journal. "You know I've heard of killer bees, but killer beetles? What is it that could make different bugs attack?" Dean asked.

"Well, hauntings sometimes include bug manifestations." Sam says.

"Yeah, but I didn't see any evidence of ghost activity." Ana says.

"Yeah, me neither." Sam says.

"Maybe they're being controlled somehow. You know, by something or someone." Dean says.

"You mean, like Willard?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, bugs instead of rats." Dean says.

"There are cases of psychic connections between people and animals -- elementals, telepaths." Sam says.

"Yeah, this whole Timmy-Lassie thing." Dean says as he thinks for a second and realizes something. "Larry's kid - he's got bugs for pets."

"Matt?" Sam says.

"Yeah." Ana says.

"He did try to scare the realtor with a tarantula." Sam says.

"Baby, you think he's, our Willard?" Ana asked.

"I don't know. Anything's possible, I guess." Sam says.

"Ooh, hey. Pull over here." Dean says, as Sam pulls into the empty driveway of one of the Oasis Plaines homes.

"What are we doing here?" Sam asked.

Dean gets out of the car. "It's too late to talk to anybody else." Dean says.

"We're gonna squat in an empty house?" Sam asked.

"I wanna try the steam shower. Come on." Dean says as Sam doesn't move. "Come on!"

Reluctantly, Sam pulls the car into the garage, and Dean closes it.

───※ ·❆· ※───

(here is the smut warning, just some good 'ol fashion shower sex. this probably won't be the best, but whatever.)

Ana was the first one in the bathroom all she knew was that Dean was somewhere in the house, she was in the midst of washing off the body wash, she wasn't paying attention, so when she felt arms around her, she jumped a little. She gave Dean a glare over her shoulder, he only had a grin. He had his arms around her as he pressed a kiss on the back of her neck. His arms were on both of her sides. "You're done." He says as he purposely moved to the other side of the shower, where the water wasn't at.

He easily hoisted her up without breaking the kiss, as his arms went under her thighs, when she was secured in his arms that's when everything happened so fast, but in a good way. The next thing that she knew was that his cock got pushed into her, as one of Dean's hand covered her mouth, as she let out a soft whimper. "Shh..." He rocked his cock in her, as his tip brushed against her cervix. She whimpered in, as he moved his hand slightly so that she can breathe, Dean continued to thrust in and out.

"D..." Ana whimpers in his hand as he pressed a kiss on the top of her head, as he continued thrusting inside of her. They were both struggling to keep their noises from coming out otherwise they both wouldn't hear the end of it, from Sam.

"S'kay, baby..." Dean says, as they both hit their climaxes, and their breaths and moans and Dean's soft grunts became pants. After they both finished their climaxes, Dean pressed his lips against Ana's lips. "S'good, babygirl." Dean whispers to her as he brushed some of her hair out of her face.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The next morning, Dean and Ana were in their bedroom at the home they stayed in for the night. Sam approaches the bedroom door, as Dean and Ana were both fast asleep. Sam knocks on the door. "You guys comin' or what?" Sam says from the door.

"What?" Dean's raspy voice replies back, as Ana shifted a little in his arms.

"Dean, a police call came in on the scanner." Sam says.

"Hold on." Dean says as he wiggled out of the bed, he put his jeans back on and opened the door as a yawn escaped from his lips.

"Get dressed, let's go." Sam says as he then walked away, as Dean stuck out his tongue at his younger brother.

The three of them pull up and get out of the car. They approach Larry, who is finishing talking to someone on the phone. Lynda's body is being carried out in a body bag on a stretcher. "Hello. You three are uh back early." Larry says.

"Yeah, we just drove in, wanted to take another look at the neighborhood." Dean says.

"What's goin', on?" Ana asked.

"You guys met, uh, Lynda Bloome at the barbeque?" Larry asked.

"The realtor." Sam says.

"Well, she, uh... passed away last night." Larry says as the three of them are shocked.

"What happened?" Ana asked, as Dean had an arm around her jacket that she was wearing.

"I'm still tryin', to find out. Identified the body for the police. Look, I-I'm sorry, this isn't a good time, now." Larry says.

"It's okay." Sam says, as Larry walks away.

"You know what we have to do, right?" Dean asked.

"Yeah, get in that house." Sam says.

"See if we got a bug problem." Dean says.

"As long as it's not spiders, I'll be good." Ana says as Dean pressed a kiss on her head. The three of them climb over the fence, up the side of the house and through Lynda's bedroom window.

The outline of her dead body is drawn on the carpet. "This looks like the place." Dean says as they walk to another part of the room. Dean picks up a towel and drops it when he sees it is covered in dead spiders. Ana lets out a gasp, as she took a couple steps back from the brothers. "Spiders. From Spider-Boy?" Dean suggests.

"Matt, maybe." Sam says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The brothers and Ana pull up to a curb, across the street Matt gets off a school bus and begins walking. "Isn't his house that way?" Ana asks as she points in the other direction.

"Yup." Dean says.

"So, where's he goin'?" Sam asked, as the three of them get out of the car and begin following Matt. They find him in the woods, examining a grasshopper.

"Hey, Matt. Remember me?" Sam asks.

"What are you doin' out here?" Matt asked.

"Well, we wanna talk to you." Dean says as he had an arm around Ana.

"You're not here to buy a house, are you?" Matt asked as Dean shook his head. "W-wait, you're not serial killers?" Matt asked as the brothers laughed.

"No, no. No, I think you're safe." Sam says.

"So, Matt... you sure know a lot about insects." Dean says.

"So?" Matt asked.

"Did you hear what happened to Lynda, the realtor?" Dean asked.

"I heard she died this morning." Matt says.

"Mm, that's right. Spider bites." Dean says.

"Matt, you tried to scare her with a spider, yesterday at the barbeque." Sam says.

"Wait. You think I had something to do with that?" Matt asked.

"You tell us." Dean says.

"That tarantula was a joke. Anyway, that wouldn't explain the bee attack or the gas company guy." Matt says.

"You know about those?" Sam asked.

"There is somethin', going on here. I don't know what... but something's happening with the insects. Let me show you something." Matt says.

Matt picks up his backpack and begins walking with them to another area. "So, if you knew about all this bug stuff, why not tell your dad? Maybe he could clear everybody out." Sam says.

"Believe me, I've tried. But, uh, Larry doesn't listen to me." Matt says.

"Why not?" Sam asked, as Dean and Ana's hands were interlocked with each other.

"Mostly? He's too disappointed in his freak son." Matt says as Sam scoffs.

"I hear you." Sam says, which was loud enough for Dean to hear.

"You do?" He asked his brother, as Sam turns and gives him a look.

"Matt, how old are you?" Sam asked.

"Sixteen." Matt says.

"Well, don't sweat it, because in two years, something great's gonna happen." Sam says.

"What?" Matt asked, as Dean pressed a soft kiss on the top of Ana's head.

"College. You'll be able to get out of that house and away from your dad." Sam says, as Ana and Dean share a look.

"What kind of advice is that? Kid should stick with his family." Dean says, as Sam sighs and glares at him.

"How much further, Matt?" Sam asked.

"We're close." Matt says, as Sam glares at Dean, one more time before he continues walking.

A few moments later, they reach a large clearing. The sounds of hundreds of different insects can be heard among the trees, which makes Ana swallow the lump in her throat. "It's okay, baby." Dean whispers in her as he knows about her fear of spiders. He gave her hand a soft squeeze.

"I've been keeping track of insect populations. It's um, part of an AP science class." Matt says.

"What's been happening?" Sam asked.

"A lot. I mean, from bees to earthworms, beetles... you name it. It's like they're congregating here." Matt says.

"Why?" Sam asked.

"I don't know." Matt says.

"What's that?" Ana asked, as she points to a dark patch of grass a few feet away. Curious they walk over to it and discover hundreds of worms, a string of mumbled curses leaves Ana's lips

Dean steps on some of them, and they fall into the ground, and they fall into the ground, creating a hole. He crouches down and uses a stick to poke around in the hole. "There's somethin', down there." Dean says as he puts the stick down and puts his hand into the hole. With a disgusted expression, he feels something inside the hole. He brings a hand back up, and the four of them look horrified. Covered in dirt and worms, is a human skull.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them pull outside of the local university and get out of the car. They take the box of bones out from the backseat and head towards the building. "So, a bunch of skeletons in an unmarked grave." Sam says.

"Yeah, maybe this is a haunting. Pissed off spirits? Some unfinished business?" Dean says.

"Yeah, maybe. Question is, why bugs? And why now?" Sam asked.

"That's two questions." Dean says as Ana smiled a little as Sam ignored Dean. "Yeah, so with that kid back there... why'd you tell him to just ditch his family like that?" Dean asked.

"Just, uh... I know what the kid's going through." Sam says.

"How 'bout tellin' him to respect his old man, how's that for advice?" Dean asked his brother.

"Dean, come on." Sam says as they stop walking. "This isn't about his old man. You think I didn't respect dad. That's what this is about." Sam says.

"Just forget it, alright? Sorry, I brought it up." Dean says.

"I respected him, but no matter what I did, it was never good enough." Sam says.

"So, what are you sayin'? That Dad was disappointed in you?" Dean asked his brother as Ana shook her head a little.

"Was? Is. Always has been." Sam says.

"Why would you think that?" Dean asked.

"Because I didn't wanna bow hunt or hustle pool - because I wanted to go to school and live my life, which, in our whacked-out family, made me the freak." Sam says.

"Yeah, well you were kind of like the blonde chick in The Munsters." Dean says.

"Dean, you know what most dads are when their kids score a full ride? Proud. Most dad's don't toss their kids out of the house." Sam says.

"I remember that fight. In fact, I seem to recall a few choice phrases comin', out of your mouth." Dean says.

"You know, truth is, when we finally do find dad... I don't think if he's gonna wanna see me." Sam says.

"Sam, Dad was never disappointed in you. Never. He was scared." Dean says.

"What are you talkin', about?" Sam asked.

"He was afraid of what could've happened to you, if he wasn't around. But even when you two weren't talkin'... he used to swing by Stanford whenever he could." Dean says as Sam's smirk fades. "Keep an eye on you. Make sure you were safe."

"What?" Sam asked.

"Yeah." Dean says.

"Why didn't yo tell me any of that?" Sam asked.

"Well, it's a two-way street, dude. You could've picked up the phone." Dean says as Sam stares at him sadly. "Come on, we're gonna be late for our appointment." Dean says as he and Ana, walk away.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them are talking with the professor. "So, you three are students?" The professor asked.

"Yeah. Yeah, uh, we're in your class - Anthro 101?" Sam says.

"Oh, yeah." The professor says.

"So, what about the bones, Professor?" Dean asked.

"This is quite an interesting find you've made. I'd say they're 170 years old, give or take. The time frame and the geography heavily suggest Native American." The professor says.

"Were there any tribes or reservations on that land?" Ana asked.

"Not according to the historical record. But the, uh, relocation of native peoples was quite common at that time." The professor says.

"Right. Well, are there any local legends? Oral histories about the area?" Sam asked.

"Well... you know, there's a Euchee tribe in Sapulpa. It's about sixty miles from here. Someone out there might know the truth." The professor says.

"Alright." Dean says.

───※ ·❆· ※───

The three of them enter and find another Native American who is playing cards at a table. "Joe White Tree?" Sam asked as the man just nodded his head. "We'd like to ask you a few questions, if that's alright."

"We're students from the university." Dean says.

"No, you're not. You're lying." Joe says as Dean seems taken aback as Ana tries not to smile.

"Well, truth is--" Dean says but he got cut off by Joe.

"You know who starts sentences, with 'truth is'? Liars." Joe says as Ana snickered as Dean gave her a glare as he nudged her.

"Have you ever heard of Oasis Plain? It's a housing development near the Atoka Valley."  Sam says.

"I like him. He's not a liar." Joe says as Dean looks angry as Ana tries not to smile. "I know the area."

"What can you tell us about the history there?" Sam asked.

"Why do you wanna know?" Joe asked.

"Something... something bad is happening in Oasis Plains. We think it might have something to do with some old bones we found down there - Native American bones." Sam says.

"I'll tell you what my grandfather told me, what his grandfather told him. Two hundred years ago, a band of my ancestors lived in that valley. One day, the American cavalry came to relocate them. They were resistant, the cavalry impatient. My grandfather put it, on the night the moon and sun share the sky as equals, the cavalry came again, and the next, and the next. And on the sixth night, the cavalry came one last time. And by the time the sun rose, every man, woman and child still in the village was dead. They say on the sixth night, as the chief of the village lay dying, he whispered to the heavens that the white man would ever tarnish this land again. Nature would rise up and protect the valley. And it would bring as many days of misery and death to the white man as the cavalry had brought upon his people." Joe explains.

"Insects. Sounds like nature to me. Six days." Dean says.

"And on the night of the sixth day, none would survive." Joe says, as the brothers and Ana exchange a look.

The three of them are walking back to the car. "When did the gas company man die?" Sam asked.

"Uh, let's see, we got here Tuesday, so, Friday the twentieth."

"March twentieth?" Sam asked as Dean nodded his head. "That's the spring equinox."

"The night the sun and the moon share the sky as equals." Ana says.

"So, every year about this time, anybody in Oasis Plains is in danger. Larry built this neighborhood on cursed land." Sam says.

"And on the sixth night -- that's tonight." Ana says.

"If we don't do something. Larry's family will be dead by sunrise. So, how do we break the curse?" Sam asked.

"You don't break a curse. You get out of its way. We've gotta get those people out now." Dean says, as the three of them get into the car and drive away.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Dean is driving, as Ana is talking on the phone with Larry. "Yes, Mr. Pike, there's a mainline gas leak in your neighborhood.

"God, really? And how big?" Larry asked.

"Well, it's fairly extensive. I don't want to alarm you, but we need your family out of the vicinity for at least twelve hours or so, just to be safe." Ana says.

"And who's this, again?" Larry asked.

"Uh, Taylor Weaver. I work for Oklahoma Gas and Power. No relation to Travis Weaver." Ana says.

"Wait, I know you. Your voice it sounds familiar, you were with the brothers or something." Larry says as Ana rolled her eyes, as then he hung up.

───※ ·❆· ※───

Sam calls Matt, on his phone. "Hello?"

"Matt, it's Sam." Sam says.

"Sam, my backyard is crawling with roaches." Matt says.

"Matt, just listen. You have to get your family out of that house, right now, okay?" Sam says.

"What, why?" Matt asked.

"Because something's coming." Sam says.

"More bugs?" Matt asked.

"Yeah, a lot more." Sam says.

"My dad doesn't listen to the best of circumstances. What am I supposed to tell him?" Matt asked.

"You've gotta make him listen, okay?" Sam asked.

"Give me the phone, give me the phone." Dean says as he grabs the phone from Sam. "Matt, under no circumstances, are you to tell him the truth, they'll just think you're nuts." Dean says.

"But he's my--" Matt says but Dean cut him off.

"Tell him you have a sharp pain in your right side and you've gotta go to the hospital, okay?" Dean says.

"Yeah, yeah, okay." Matt says as he hangs up as does Dean.

"Make him listen? What are you thinkin'?" Dean asked his brother who merely shrugged his shoulders. Dean turns to Ana and sees that she's gotten quiet. "You okay, baby?" Dean asked her, as she shook her head. "Hey." Dean says as Ana looked up at him, as he could tell that without looking at her that her hands were shaking. "It's okay. You're okay." Dean says reassuring her.

"I'm scared." Ana says just above a whisper to Dean, as his heart broke, there was only a few times during their relationship, where she was scared. Like beyond scared, more so petrified. This is one of them, even if she is saying that she is scared.

"I'd say you could stay in the car, but that would be stupid, and I don't want anything to happen to you." Dean says to her, as she nodded her head.

"I'm okay...somewhat." Ana says as Dean turned back to her.

"You sure baby?" Dean asked her, as she nodded her head.

"Yeah." Ana says to him, but it was the hesitance that was in her voice.

"Sweetheart, it's okay, to not be okay." Dean says as Ana looked down to her lap. "Trust me." He says to her, as she nodded her head, before she shook her head at what he said. "You sure, you're going to be, okay, sweetheart?" Dean asked her.

"Yeah, I'm gonna be okay." Ana says to her as she nodded her head at him. "I'm okay." She says to him.

The car pulls up outside of Larry's house. Larry looks out the window and, seeing their car, he goes outside. "Damn it, they're still here. Come on."

The three of them get out of the car, and they are joined by Matt. "Get off my property, before I call the cops." Larry says.

"Mr. Pike, listen." Sam says.

"Dad, they're just tryin', to help." Matt says.

"Get in the house!" Larry says to Matt.

"I'm sorry. I told him the truth." Matt says to the brothers.

"We had a plan, Matt. What happened to the plan?" Dean asked.

"Look, it's 12:00 AM. They are coming any minute now. You need to get your family and go, before it's too late." Sam says.

"Yeah, you mean the biblical swarm." Larry says.

"Larry, what do you think really happened to that realtor, huh? And the gas company guy? You don't think somethin', weirds goin', on here?" Ana says to Larry as she tries to remain calm but the more that she is around him, she is slowly losing her shit.

"Look, I don't know who you are, but you're crazy. You come near my boy or my family again, and we're gonna have a problem." Larry says.

"Well, I hate to be a Debby Downer, but we've got a problem right now." Ana says.

"Dad, they're right, okay? We're in danger." Matt says.

"Matt, get inside! Now!" Larry says.

"No! Why don't you listen to me?!" Matt exclaims to his father.

"Because this is crazy! It doesn't make any sense!" Larry says.

"Look this land is cursed! People have died here. Now, are you gonna really take that risk with your family?" Sam says to Larry.

"Wait." Dean says as everyone goes silent. "You hear that?" Dean asked, as a very loud buzzing noise can be heard. It continues to get louder.

"What the hell?" Larry asked, as the fluorescent bug light on the porch begins to overheat, killing several bugs at a time.

"Alright, it's time to go. Larry, get your wife." Dean says as Ana forced herself to look away, so that she doesn't freak out.

"Guys." Matt says, as they all look up to the sky. Millions of bugs begin flying towards the house, blanketing the sky.

"Oh my God." Larry says.

"We'll never make it." Sam says.

"Everybody in the house. Everybody in the house, go!" Dean says as they all rush inside the house and lock the door.

"Okay, ist here anybody else in the neighborhood?" Sam asked.

"No, it's just us." Larry says, as that's when Joanie enters.

"Honey, what's happening? What's that noise?" Joanie asked.

"Call 911." Larry says as Joanie doesn't movie. "Joanie!"

"Okay." Joanie says as she picks up the phone and dials.

"I need towels." Dean says.

"Uh, in the closet." Larry says.

"Okay, we've gotta lock this place up, come on -- doors, windows, fireplace, everything, okay?" Sam says as Ana goes with Sam and Matt to lock the house down.

"Phones are dead." Joanie says.

"They must have chewed through the phone lines." Dean says he begins putting towels at the base of the front door when the power goes out. "And the power lines."

"I need my cell." Larry says as he picks up his cell phone. "No signal."

"You won't get one. They're blanketing the house." Dean says as millions of bugs begin collecting on the doors and windows, covering the entire building. The six of them watch, waiting.

"So, what do we do now?" Larry asked.

"We try to outlast it. Hopefully, the curse will end at sunrise." Ana says as Larry looked at her.

"Hopefully?" He says, as Dean is in the kitchen searching the cabinets, He finds a can of bug spray and returns to the living room.

"Bug spray?" Joanie asked.

"Trust him, it'll work." Ana says to Joanie as she nodded her head at the redhead.

They then hear a creaking noise coming from somewhere around the fireplace. "What is that?" Matt asked.

"The flue." Sam says

"Alright, I think everybody needs to get upstairs." Dean says as then suddenly hundreds of thousands of bugs come into the living room, swarming all around them. They all scream and try to protect themselves. Dean uses a lighter with the can of bug spray to make it flare up.  The flames wards some of the bugs away. "Alright, everybody upstairs! Now! Go, go, go!"

They go upstairs into attic, as Sam closed the door, after a moment of being in the attic, sawdust begins to fall from the ceiling. The buzz of the bees gets louder.

"Oh, God, what's that?" Joanie asked.

"Something's eating through the wood." Dean says.

"Termites." Matt says.

"Alright, everybody get back. Get back, get back, get back!" Dean says as the three Pikes and Ana move a s far into the corner of the attic as they can

A second later, the bugs chew a hole through the ceiling and swarm around the room, Dean and Sam frantically try to patch up the hole in the ceiling, but it only works for a minute. Ana tries to keep herself from freaking out, she has her arms around her knees on the ground, as she tries to keep her breaths from hyperventilating, because that is the last thing that she wants to happen right now. She doesn't want to add more problems right now.

Soon, two more holes are chewed, and while Dean tries to ward them off with the bug spray, nothing seems to work. The six of them stand in the corner, desperately trying to swat the bugs away for a few minutes, except for Ana who is trying to keep herself from freaking out and causing more problems for at the moment. Then suddenly, the sun rises. Miraculously, the bugs start to leave through the hole in the ceiling. Confused, Dean and Sam go to see what happened. Through the hole, they can see the bugs in the sky, near the sun, in one enormous colony. The six of them continue watching, relieved, as even though she is in the midst of trying not to panic, Ana is relieved that the bugs have gone away.

The three of them approach Larry, who is placing boxes into a moving van. "What, no goodbye?"

"Good timing. Another hour and we'd have been gone." Larry says as he shakes their hands.

"For good?" Sam asked.

"Yeah. The development's been put on hold while the government investigates those bones you found. But I'm gonna make damn sure no one lives here again."

"You don't seem too upset about it." Ana says, as Dean had his arm around Ana, as she is still slightly shaken up of what happened.

"Well, this has been the biggest financial disaster of my career, but..." Larry says as he looks over at Matt, who is carrying a box to the garbage. "...somehow, I really don't care."

They share a smile, Sam walks over to Matt, who is throwing away all his insect paraphernalia. "What's this?" Sam asked.

"I don't know. They kind of weird me out now." Matt says, as they both laugh.

"Yeah, I should hope so." Sam says as a few minutes later, Sam joins Dean by the car. They watch Larry, and Matt who are now getting along very well. "I wanna find Dad."

"Yeah, me too." Dean says.

"Yeah, but I just... I want to apologize to him." Sam says.

"For what?" Dean asked.

"All the things I said to him. He was just doin', the best he could." Sam says.

"Well, don't worry, we'll find him. And then you'll apologize. And then within five minutes, you guys will be at each other's throats." Dean says.

Sam laughs. "Yeah, probably." Sam says as they sit in silence for a few seconds. "Let's hit the road."

"Please do, I need therapy." Ana says as the three of them get in the car, giving one last wave to Larry and Matt, and Dean drives away.

"More like you want to go to a bar and drink whiskey." Sam says as she gave him a small glare.

"You have therapy your way, and I will have therapy my way." Ana says to the younger Winchester. "Speaking of, can we get food."
