Jade was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in a difficult household. Though she doesn't talk much about her home life, all that matters was that it was toxic and wasn't good for her. Her mother had gotten into a relationship with a man that was toxic and had kids with that man. Jade wasn't happy about her living situation and the things she witnessed. Most nights, she stayed with her close friends or her grandparents that lived nearby. It was simply easier that way especially when her grandparents moved from Puerto Rico to Florida to be closer to family. At the age of sixteen, she decided to run away for more than one reason of course. She was interested in pursuing a career in music, and her mother didn't approve. And her grandparents were unaware of the situation, she left home, and lived on the streets for a bit. Only visited her grandparents for food, showering, and seeing how they were. She refused to be a burden to them. She spent months and months doing what she could to make money. With the money she made, she was able to get studio time and a place to live.. Eventually, her music became known in the latin music world, and from there, her career took off.
