Hii plutointhestars ! This is my entry for prompt A of your latest contest! Here's the prompt for the rest of y'all~

I decided to go with an album cover because I love making them more than everything else lol. I will pm you the link for higher quality.

EXPLANATION~

• album title - X (its a cross actually and denotes "none")
• singer - blixxiee (i.e, me since we're talking about *my* pride)
• subtitle - pride for all (just me shouting pride rights y'all)
• genre - alternative rock/pop

• colours -

[1] black from the asexual flag.
to depict my ace tendency which overpowers every other tendency of mine.

[2] white from the unlabeled flag.
which signifies 'understanding' as i'm still in the process of understanding my sexuality.

[3] yellow from the pride flag.
which represents sunlight. it's about being myself instead of hiding in the shadows, pretending to be something that i'm not.

• reasoning behind design -

[1] i don't have any labels at the moment and i'm still in the middle of figuring myself out. However calling myself "unlabeled" also feels like a label to me so I didn't use the unlabeled flag. I did use the colour white from the flag to show that whether you use the flag or not you're valid nevertheless ! It also signifies how i'm trying to understand myself better.

[2] the black background denotes my dominant asexual tendency !

[3] the yellow (besides sunlight) denotes that everyone is valid irrespective of the label(s) they choose to use and thus justifies the subtitle !

[4] coming to the actual design, the background is a collection of not-so-symmetrical 'labels'. The reason they are asymmetrical is because they denote the various lgbtqia+ labels one can choose from (like bi, pan, gay, etc). The 'X' (read as: "none") denotes a cross as if it's striking out all the labels because I currently use *none* of them !
