There was once a long, long time ago a wold where humans and wizards lived together.
The world was young, peaceful and everyone lived in peace and harmony.
But, one day, the Human King got sick and as days passed, he became weaker and weaker. The Human Realm was scared: they all feared for the life of their beloved King, and so did the Wizard King, who decided to send one of his servants to go find a cure for the Human King's illness.
So, the Chosen Wizard left the Realm, starting his researches to find a cure.
After long, long, weeks of traveling, the wizard decided to take a break, near a river, when he heard a voice: "Come, come precious wizard. Come to me, beloved one." The voice sang in his head.
He could hear nothing but that voice, he felt confused and scared, but decided not to disappoint the voice, which sounded so powerful and almighty.
He followed the voice's instructions until he found himself in front of a waterfall that fell in a narrow crack in the ground.
Here, the voice was much stronger, clearer than it was before.
It sounded so... real.
"Come to me, precious wizard. Go through the waterfall. Come to me, beloved one." Sang again the voice, suppressing all of the wizard's thoughts.
The wizard breathed, then passed through the waterfall.
But he didn't wet, he didn't smashed on a stone nor he fell into some underground cave.
Instead, he found himself in the middle of a garden. Flowers of every color were everywhere on the grass, trees of all types were there, decorated with plants and blossoms.
The wizard stared breathless at the vision, wondering how did he end up in a place like that, when something- or better, someone- cane into view.
"My greetings, precious wizard." The feminine figure greeted warmly, holding a bundle of wild roses in her hands.
She was the owner of the voice, realized quickly the wizard, still amazed by the garden and the recent events.
Her long, straight, strawberry blonde hair touched the ground near her delicate, bare feet. Her dress was made of flowers and her eyes were as blue as the sky on a sunny day.
"Who are you?" Asked the wizard. The woman smiled once again, adjusting her dress.
"I am your savior, a Goddess." She replied. "You can stay in my garden for all the time you want to. But, please, do not touch those blossoms." She explained, pointing gracefully at a bunch of wild flowers. "They are my favorite ones, and I would like them to remain untouched."
That said, the goddess vanished on the spot, leaving the wizard startled.
He looked around, slowly realizing that he happened to be where he needed to be: with all those flowers around, he could certainly find a cure for the King's illness.
He started making experiments, using his magic, he started to crossbreed different flowers- roses, violets, hyacinths- but all those experiments led to failure.
Sad, and exhausted, after hours of trying in vain, the wizard started to leave the garden, when he suddenly heard a voice.
"Come here, you wizard. Come here and listen to my words" The voice called, rather viciously.
The wizard followed the voice: it was owned by a bunch of wild flowers. They were ugly and thorny, of an horrible color.
"Take one of those blooms. They can cure whatever illness one has. They are enchanted, little wizard. Take them and don't come here ever again." Ordered the flowers, gesturing themselves to a bundle of blossoms.
"I can't." Replied the wizard. "The goddess told me not to take them." He explained calmly to the evil flowers.
"You can't trust her. She's evil. Look what she did to us. She keep us locked in here. We never saw the world, only this garden." The flowers said, more angrily this time.
"Run before she decides to imprison you too, wizard. Run and never come back!." They yelled, scaring the wizard, who took the blossoms in his hands and started running away from the garden.
Not some time later, he arrived to the Wizard King's Castle, where he gave the magic flowers to the King, telling him about all about his journey.
The wizard was then acclaimed by both the Realms, for being the savior of the Human King and humanity.
Everything was going well for the wizard, until a day, a storm came on the Wizard Realm, destroying everything: houses, shops, castles, facilities.
Then, another catastrophe came on the Realm- this time it was the plague- and all the wizards were killed by the hand of natural events.
All the wizards, except one.
"I told you, precious wizard, not to take those flowers, but you didn't listen to me." The Goddess said, looking at the wizard, who was now trembling in fear, in the corner of his living room, in his new house. "You disobeyed me, beloved one, so I have to punish you." She explained.
As she said those words, a lightning broke into the house and pulverized the wizard, leaving nothing of him but dust.
That day, all the memories of the wizards were forget, being replaced with stories and legends.
All of the humans forget who were wizards and all of the things the wizards taught to them, making them all regress.
And the evil flowers?
The Goddess decided to punish them too.
She modeled them in beautiful blossoms, but they were now lethal to humans, they were capable of killing who tried to talk to them, used them or listened to them.
That day, wizards were wiped from existence and aconite was created.
Okay...
