I chose number 23 and so my constellation was the big dog, in Latin it is Canis Major.
First I had no idea, until my sister said, oh, it reminds me at Sirius Black, because in the constellation there is the star sirius! And she was right. So I thought about a younger Sirius Black. I wanted to create the typical Harry Potter feeling, with one of its streets. That is why I chose the alley. And it was important, that there were windows or the sky. It was for the moon and the constellation.
It took me a while till I found the head of young Sirius. In fandoms they use Ben Barnes. It was impossible to find him license free, so I searched for someone I think fits for the role. And he has the right hair (not like Barnes) (;
If there is a green touch in the graphic, I totally blame myself. Who forgot he was a Gryffindor, yes that was me. That means extra work. Changing the colour, the button and the tie. And I shall not forget to say: those damn hands.I hate them. But I had to search for exact those, like the doll had theirs.
The title is self explaining. It is kind of blurred, and it shouldn't look clear, it should remind of fog and magic. And that's blurred. The subtile represents that Sirius, the constellation, flicker. And I though about a connection to his life. And he had a problematic relation to his family. Perfect for the subtitle!
The magic is just decoration, else it would have looked empty. And he has a wand in his hand. So there we go...
