Dick immediately traveled to Briar's side, making the man smile. He wrapped his hand around Briar's shoulder, holding him closely. Bruce smiled at that action, quietly giving his approval to the happy couple.

It wasn't long before Alfred came in and informed everyone that lunch was ready. Everyone walked towards the dining room, Dick and Briar walked side by side holding hands. Everyone could sense the happiness radiating from the couple. They were blissful and content, something that hadn't been felt in the manor for a long time. It was a welcome change, and everyone was glad to see the couple so happy.

When everyone was seated in the dining room they began to question the happy couple, more specifically Briar. Briar beamed in response, his cheeks turning a rosy color as he shyly talked about how he and Dick had first met and how long they had been seeing each other. As he spoke, everyone in the room felt a wave of joy and peace wash over them. It was clear that the couple had found something special in each other, and it was something that everyone was happy to see

"So, how did you guys meet?" Stephanie, who only just arrived at the manor to show her support and to eat some of Alfred's homemade waffles for lunch, and of course she came to help Jason tease the couple. 

"Well I work as a lawyer, at a law firm in Bludhaven. So me and Dick cross paths every once in a while at work. We first met working on the same case and I guess it just grew from there?" Briar looked at Dick who nodded and smiled.

"Yeah, I guess you could say it was a case of love at first sight!" Dick jokes, causing everyone to let out a light chuckle. Briar just rolled his eyes amused by Dick's antics.

Lunch went by fast, the family could just tell that Dick and Briar were made for each other. It was clear that the pair had a strong chemistry, whether it was the way their eyes kept meeting or the way they seemed to be finishing each other's sentences. The bond between Briar and Dick was like a match being struck; they both lit up in each other's presence, and everyone around could feel the warmth.

Stephanie and Jason took it upon themselves to tease them and Damian, who had been quiet the entire time, surprisingly warmed up to Briar, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing just something that hasn't been seen before.

Watching the couple was like watching a romantic comedy unfold in front of their eyes, except with way more cheesy jokes. They exchanged knowing smiles, laughter and intimate moments that only the two of them could understand, making those around them feel like witnesses to a special kind of love. One that seemed like only existed in those cheesy romantic comedies.
